Great food, great service . Wes was attentive and fulfilled our every need before we even had a chance to think about it! I’m picky too. Service was top notch. Pizza was very good, my husband had the jalapeño popper pizza and we also shared the kale salad, which was huge and amazing. Thrilled that we Boulder people finally have a spot to go where it’s dark, there’s good beer, service is consistent, it’s not super pricey and the food is really good. This is a pic of my vegan cheese pizza with mushrooms and spinach and a FYIPA.

We are regulars here at under the sun. I was prompted to write a review tonight as our server, Mikey J, elevated our experience to another level. While he’s new here, he’s no stranger to exceptional service. He was genuine, helpful, and anticipate our every need. We love all the Sun restaurants. We’ll be back tomorrow for excellent food and service .

A lot of the same food options as the above restaurant if you’ve been to that one. Same exact beer options similar entrées. This place sells pizza in addition though and it looked pretty good, I didn’t get it though. The service seems to be better for under the sun than it is upstairs and this place seems more kid/family friendly version than the upstairs. I got the boneless wings and they were pretty darn good and tender. The General Tso’s was not very spicy though just seem like teriyaki sauce

I had a delicious Philly cheese steak. Best I've ever had, highly recommend everyone try it.
Service was fast and friendly.

Came here for brunch and got the torta with a few friends. Also had the black Manhattan cocktail (I had to add my own ice, as my friend pointed out “cocktails are not their specialty here”)
The torta was ok and the salad that came with it was nice and refreshing BUT I don’t think I would ever order that again especially at $16! I am losing faith in the quality of meals in Colorado vs the cost of it - I do get that the economy dictates some price increases but I simply wouldn’t go out of my way for this meal.
My friends both got French toast which was average in my opinion. The doughnuts were for the teenagers we were with and I tried one and also not anything I would wanna go out of my way for, the ricotta dip was nice though! Still giving the five star as I believe in supporting local business and a lack of exceptional shouldn’t lower overall ratings IMO - but that’s just how I feel :)

Meatballs, beet salad and pizza were all amazing. Very friendly attentive service and generally an awesome vibe.
Food is light fresh and delicious.
The pizza is thinner and doesn't sit heavy in your stomach and feeds two ( if you order starters).
They only take cash and have an ATM onsite.
Also good beer selection.

While my personal taste for food, is places with buffet or unlimited selections, and pizza with thick crust. I will say this place was darn good.

I ordered the vodka pizza. Lightly cooked, as I do not enjoy burnt pizza. It was amazing. Every bite was full of flavor.

My friend ordered the Birria beef skillet. It was full of flavourful spices and textures. But not spicy, just to be spicy.

For dessert we ordered the bread pudding. They deep fry it. Slightly over fried for my personal liking. However, the flavor, just like everything else was amazing. My roommate who normally does not like bread pudding, loved it.

Got to meet Max the manager. Very friendly individual.

I will definitely visit this place again, and soon.

Amazing entree specials! I just had the scallop risotto and wow, best scallops I've ever had (in Colorado of all places). The menu offers something for everyone along with wonderful beer, wine, and cocktail choices.

Superb, service, food, ambience everything. Mussels and sweet potato as appetizers were exceptionally good, pizzas we're great, and the roast chicken and salmon main course didn't disappoint.

Dessert was fabulous too. Service deserves special mention very courteous and attentive without getting in the way. Really enjoulyed the evening

The best wings I have ever eaten, honestly. That includes Korean styled wings. We also had the loaded fries with the green chili gravy.

I think this was the best restaurant we dined while we were on vacation.

This place is amazing! It’s by far the best pizza we’ve had in Colorado and everything else that we’ve tried off of the menu has been equally good. We went twice in a week and the food and staff were fantastic each time. You’ll be stuffed after eating pizza, but do yourself a favor and save some room for the oven-baked cookie, you won’t regret it!

Two of us went in to grab a quick bite on a summery Saturday afternoon. Just a couple of shared plates - the burrata with vegetables and calabrian chili oil, and the warm beet salad with goat cheese and arugula. Food was delicious, balanced and fresh. Service from Nate was friendly, competent, and prompt. Even better, the Euro2024 Netherlands Turkiye quarterfinal was on. Will be back for sure.

This food is out of this world. The jumbo wings are always cooked to perfection and the pizzas are amazing.

i got the grilled cheese off the kids menu and my friend got some kind of bbq pizza, both which were really good! loved the fries and our sever was super friendly. definitely recommend!

also came back to try the desert and it was pretty good!

It was a dark and stouty month...
February is Stout Month at all the Mountain Sun and I can't say enough good things about the Stout selections. Guest stouts, house stouts, nitro stouts, barrel aged big stouts, get down here and enjoy some Stout!
Also - amazing pizza, and a creative mind changing menu.

We LOVE Under the Sun! Their pizza is delicious, the staff is so nice and fun, and their happy hour deals can’t be beat. This visit, we got a margarita pizza (delicious), $5 margs (taste fine, good pour), and truffle fries (a huge serving). We’ve also gotten beer and some of their specialty pizzas at previous visits. A fun, cozy local spot that I highly recommend.

Went for happy hour to try the $5 margarita pizza and have to give 5 stars for effort - without me asking they remade my pizza due to it being burnt, however, my 2nd pizza looked and tasted nothing like the first. Neither was good or bad, but the $5 HH truffle fries were delicious. Worth the try!

Edit: re-heated the 2nd pizza in the oven and it was 11/10 - be back soon!

Stoped here for lunch after a morning hike on a Saturday. Everything we ordered was amazing! Highly recommend getting the shareable brussel sprouts and donuts! The vegan pizza was delicious 👌

Absolutely best boneless wings ever, tender and juicy. We ordered three pizzas so each of us tried all 3. White cheese one was great, Ricotta Truffle tasted outstanding and Meat Lovers was on the salty side. Crust was thin and had excellent taste from the wood fired oven.
Great atmosphere, at moments too noisy.

This place has great food. Environment is outstanding and the the food is better. I could do without the rotating service deal, but I’m able to see past it.
