East Hampton Art House Bed & Breakfast

I Was in town on a short business trip and stumbled upon the art house as an option to a hotel. I must admit, it felt like home.
Beautifully decorated very comfortable, and the most impressive part of the whole trip was meeting Rosalind and Michael the owners . After breakfast, I was intrigued by the artwork, and she graciously gave me the tour of her studio and all of her beautiful artwork. She is the painter of the couple. Then michael gave me a tour of his studio. He is is,the Sculptor. Then we continue to walk the grounds, and we looked at all the landscaping and gardens
I think I found my home away from home when in town highly recommend it.

Great experience for my wife and I! We only had 1 night, and the owners were fun to get to know, and chat with. This is not your typical B&B - the owners are literal working artists and they each specialize in very different types of art and each has their own studio in a wing of the expansive home.

They both took out time for us, showing off their work - which was quite impressive. Each of them are so different creatively, and it made for a truly fun time.

Their gardens are also so beautiful - and they've done a truly wonderful job in creating a relaxing and very beautiful space. They also loaned us beach passes, and going to the beautiful/pristine, private beaches was so fun.

The breakfast was terrific, and even though we had checked out, they invited us to enjoy their bikes, and the house for a number of hours after.

We didn't use the pool, but we did enjoy the hammocks.

The Art House is a hidden gem tucked away in a rural neighborhood. My wife and I usually go to five star hotels, and this bed and breakfast is a five star hotel disguised as a B&B! Everything about the Art House is unique and marvelous, and the greatest treat is its brilliant owners who are most willing to share their art and time with guests. We stayed in the Master Spa room, which is spacious yet cozy and includes a fireplace, sauna, two-person jacuzzi and a view of the spectacular meditation garden. Breakfasts were cooked to order, and were sumptuous and delicious. The whole facility is spotless...immaculately maintained with loving care by the friendly staff. To make our stay even more memorable, we were invited (as are all guests) to tour the owners art studio on the other wing of the building. Michael and Rosalind are world-class artists and sculptors bubbling with passion for their art. They happily share their creative processes, which makes a stay at the Art House a delightful combination of relaxing retreat and cultural adventure.

Spectacular, soulful and awe-inspiring! Staying at the Art House was more than a getaway. It is truly a unique experience surrounded by stunning meditative gardens, a beautiful pool, superior art and unforgettable hostess and host, Rosalind and Michael. Their passion, not only for art, but for seeing guests enjoy what they have beautifully created makes it all so complete. Lovely staff, great breakfast and very clean! It's more than you can imagine!

My husband and I stayed at the art house b&b this past weekend. We cannot say enough about the beautiful house Michael and Rosalind designed and decorated together. The house is beautiful, clean, service was excellent not to mention that you are staying surrounded by artwork painted by Rosalind and sculptures made by Michael. In the outdoor garden, you can walk around and relax in the multiple sitting areas, a hammock or a swinging bench. The garden is gorgeous, both the lanscaping and the sculptures inside. The best part was the tour of the studios by the artists themeselves.
We will for sure be back!

A perfect paradise. Our room Was private, comfortable and lavish. Beautiful fireplace and steam shower. A huge soaking tub was delightful. Every detail was well thought out even down the spa like robes and extra soft pillows. the Japanese gardens and wonderful art made it feel like a special treat. Wonderful treats awaited us after dinner with a wide selection of coffees, teas and snacks and in the morning the best home fries chef prepared potatoes with a view the absolutely perfect pool and garden view. This is in the coldest part of winter . I need to come back again!! Thanks Michael and Rosalind for making us so comfortable! A Jewel in the midst!

We had an incredible stay at the Art House. The house is astonishing and something one should witness. The master spa is not cheap, but we certainly found it worth it! Where else do you have a private jacuzzi, steam room and sauna to yourself? Michael and Rosalind are extremely gracious hosts and did everything to make sure we felt at home. Thanks also for the tour of all the great art you have been producing. Highly recommended!

The art house was absolutely amazing! Michael and Rosalind were extremely kind and hospitable. The house is extraordinary in every way imaginable. We toured the house and every room is beautiful with every detail being meticulously brought to life through amazing artwork and beautiful decor. The house literally lacks nothing it has every bell and whistle and it’s an extremely relaxing atmosphere. With all the amenities the house has to offer and being in such close proximity to all the lovely sights and local activities the Art house is an absolute treasure. Michael and Rosalind were tremendous beyond belief. I can’t stress enough what a great experience staying here was.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay with the wonderful hosts and staff: Michael, Rosalind & Christy. From the moment we arrived to our departure, everything was fantastic! The rooms were beautiful, the food delicious, the grounds splendid! Total relaxation and peace! The Master Spa room had the best jacuzzi tub I've ever used, an awesome sauna, shower with terrific pressure, a lovely patio, fireplace, sitting room, and plenty of closets. The Master Guest room was our second favorite also with a patio, fireplace, and great tub. Michael went over a map of the area and gave us info on the best spots to explore and restaurants/shopping to enjoy. We loved eating and shopping both in East Hampton and Sag Harbor, specifically dining at our faves in order from the East Hampton Grill, Page, Nick & Toni's, and The Blend restaurants. The East Hampton and Sag Harbor bookstores, White's Apothecary, Polo Ralph Lauren, Lululemon, and Shan were a real shopping treat too. We even caught a movie at the immaculately clean theater in town. Rosalind's tour of her amazing art gallery was quite a delight. Their home allowed us to enjoy time spent admiring the artwork, playing a few games of pool, Scrabble, relaxing on a double seater swing, and swaying in a hammock in a most beautiful yard with the sound of nearby water flowing over rocks. Walking to their local, private beach was awesome too. It was exactly what we needed to unwind and reconnect with each other. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

The Art House was beyond amazing. My husband, teen boys and I stayed there over the Memorial Day weekend, and it couldn't have been any better. The house is stunning with an Asian inspired backyard that is beautiful. There is a lovely pool and jacuzzi outdoors. Michael and Ros are lovely hosts, willing to be helpful with any restaurant recommendations/reviews and Michael's breakfast is out of this world. We would definitely come back!

The perfect place to spend the weekend, with a pool, hot tub and private beach.
The owners were very nice and we felt free to ask them anything. Only 4 rooms in the entire house so it feels really like a private house.
Breakfast was great with a verity of options.

Beautiful home and gardens in a very quiet area. Rosalind and Mike are great hosts and really interesting to talk to. There are several coffee machines, loads of snacks available at all times. The bed is incredibly comfortable. They provided us with a very detailed map of the best places to see in the region. Highly recommend the Art House.

Art House Is a SPECTACULAR Bed and Breakfast In a residential part of East Hampton!!!! Ros and Mike are 2 of the most interesting, warm, passionate people who run the Band B!!! Its their Beautiful home that they converted 5 years ago into a B and B From the moment you pull up to the moment you leave, everything was beyond PERFECT!!!!! Mikes homemade breakfasts were outstanding... The grounds are Amazing ...Their eye for detail is beyond anything I have seen... The house is Spotless... the furnishings and art work that fill the home are just gorgeous... If your looking for an amazing romantic fun filled vacation or special occasion place...THIS IS IT!!!!!!!!

This was my 2nd stay at this East Hampton’s paradise. I like to highlight Rosalind & Michael’s warmth. They are behind every detail while you are around. Hospitality taken to a higher level. The house it’s a dream but the upscale service is what makes it a top-notch hotel.

We had such an amazing time! From the tranquil garden, the beautiful room, the delicious breakfast, the fabulous staff! Rosalind and Michael were more than accommodating to us. A perfect place to celebrate my birthday! We will be returning.

The owners (both great as individuals and as artists) are really attentive and showed us places to visit and eat, and were open to answer every question and comment.

Owners were very friendly and they made gorgeous pieces of art. It was easy to get comfortable because it was very sanitary.I would definitely visit again even if it's just to see the art Rosalind and Michel are very talented and down to earth people.

Our Artful experience at The Art House Villa B&B in East Hampton was quite wonderful.

My wife and I enjoyed our night stay in the Master Suite and Spa Room. The Steam Room, the Sauna, the Rain Shower and Shiatsu Jacuzzi were just a few of the luxurious highlights.

Our Room had a veranda with exceptional views of exquisite gardens, trails and sculptures.

The owners/hosts Michael and Rosalind are just amazing and warm. We felt quite at home with their kindness and enthusiasm.

They are also both exceptionally talented artists and sculptors. They each have their own personal studios within the villa with amazing pieces of their personal talents.

The exquisite gardens, trails, and sculptures along with the extraordinary grounds adorned with a variety of greenery and colors, paint a vivid picture of a serene and beautiful environment all around you.

There also are several imported artifacts all around as you walk the grounds.

The fresh breakfast prepared by the staff and the access to Clearwater Beach were delightful additions to our experience.

I would highly recommend a stay at The Art House.

This place is beautiful! The best breakfast ever! Rosalind and Michael are the most kind, smart and adorable owners. I wish be back soon and ever. This place turn Hamptons the best place to go!
