Montauk County Park

Very friendly staff! Came looking for the famous Montauk county Park Driftwood sign. The man at the front said it was taken down for the winter and it will be replaced tomorrow. He let us go in and take a picture of it. Definitely coming back when it’s off! Here are the pictures I got.

Great place to enjoy a relaxing day, weekend or even a week. Never packed, watch planes land right overhead, com water to relax and enjoy. 4X4 beach access with a Suffolk County beach pass only. Campers day trippers are welcome. Take what you bring! Port-o John’s and dumpsters are by the booth entrance. Town is less than a 5 min drive. Head in for ice cream before heading home.

Family was camping on the beach and we decided to visit. An outstanding day.

If you have a 4x4 get an Outer Beach Pass! There are a bunch of places in Suffolk county that you can drive on the beach... But so far this was my absolute favorite place! Going to try Cedar Point next week...

We were there on the weekend before the 4th of July, so it got packed in a hurry. All other times the park is very very tame and sparsely occupied. Plus, Montauk is far enough east to keep the 'Citiots' away! There's enough room between campers so you don't feel cramped. This is dry camping ON the beach at its finest!

Montauk is located in the easternmost part of Long Island. It is a great place to see and watch the sunset. There are lighthouses all around. One of the first lighthouses in New York is located here. It is located right next to the ocean. It is a great place for sea lovers and for taking pictures. It's a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset.

Beautiful scenic beach with lots of tourists mobility in this area.

So many great parks in Montauk. This is one of them. Dog friendly is regulated but reasonable.

We had the beach to ourselves. Best time of year. Max enjoyed the swimming and even shared a moment with a seal.

Outstanding camp site and sunsets. Feels like Key West. Well run and LI gem.

Such beauty. Could spend hours being in this park without a care in the world.
