Lovely atmosphere, beautiful art, and decor all around. The staff was very friendly and came by for conversation as they were empty. The food was absolutely amazing. Must try!

I love tasting menus. Especially affordable tasting menus. 8 tiny courses, $55. Asian inspired. Bold flavors, beautifully presented, served by a polite informed staff. There are options for vegetarians, etc. We had a great time; we were filled and satisfied. The lights could have been dimmer and the door needs a vestibule to keep out the draft. But these are minor details compared to the fine and fun experience. Definitely worth a try. Reservations encouraged. It was packed when we went.

Great and much needed addition of a casual affair in East Hampton. Can’t go wrong with ordering any of the snack bites. Our favorites were the chicken and lemongrass gyoza and torched wagyu roll. The standout of the meal was the panna cotta. Absolutely insane bite, Chef Jake knocked it out of the park.

Got the lobster ramen. The blistered cherry tomatoes and pickled celery added a good variety of acidic flavors to balance the lobster and corn, which made for a refreshing ramen. Service was good, too.

Food and service were wonderful! Highly recommend and will return. Most of all, it was like an oasis in otherwise overcrowded Hamptons summer. One person in our party was vegan and there were ample options for them - they really enjoyed the menu items that they chose.

A++ all around. From the hostess securing us a last minute table on the Friday of 4th of July wknd (no less), to the service (constant attention to H2O refills and plates coming out as they were ready) to the delicious inventive beverages (If you want spicy, go for the Samari!) to the delectable food (we ordered everything with tuna - incredible! - plus the Udon Carbonara - bellisimo!), our experience was hands-down an 11. Well Done & pats on the back to everyone who makes Kumiso the top-notch culinary experience that it is. The Secret is Now Out!

Amazing ramen and loved the peking duck buns. Everyone at our table loved their food. Black sesame panna cotta was special!

The flavor of the broth in the lobster ramen is incredible. This place is great. If I was local I would be a regular.

It's like a warm hug on a cold winter night. I brought my friend and he said, "the ramen is so good, it reminds me of Ippudo, but I don't have to line up for it." High compliment indeed. (And for those complaining about the prices, go check the price for ramen at Ippudo or at any other place in the Hamptons.) Great food. Warm service. Even the alley location is great. Reminds me of the alleys of Kyoto where you can find great...ramen.

Ordered takeout. Wow. We were blown away by the delicious rolls, ramen, dumplings, and salads. 10/10. New favorite spot in town.

Really great spot! Food was so good and it’s so chill and cozy inside. Def will come back!

Crispy Rice, Ramen and Bao Buns!

We walked by during the late afternoon and met Nicoli (sorry if I misspelled) she was warm and welcoming to my 7 year daughter and we mentioned we may be back that afternoon. 4 hours later when we showed up she remembered her name and introduced herself to my other daughter.
Our server, Sam was excellent, warm and friendly. We ordered a few mocktails (loved the Young Samurai and Matcha Fizz especially).
We also really enjoyed the chicken gyoza, Peking bun and my daughter loved her chicken ramen. It’s definitely not a traditional Japanese izakaya but excited to welcome them to the village! This was actually just filler meal for us so we didn’t order a ton but we look forward to returning!

Run, don’t walk to what’s the BEST new and here to stay restaurant on the east end. Tucked away in a quaint alleyway in the heart of east hampton village, this inventive restaurant in both food and style is a must try. Already a hit, (word of mouth has spread) We had a great sampling of both food and cocktails. As someone who prefers vegetarian I was blown away by the great variety of options. Their KFC (vegan) Bun was a huge hit even with our meat eaters. We tried several rolls, some of their inventive salads, and of course the Mojito Jade, lychee martini and Samurai’s edge, all so good. Next time we we’ll try their Lobster Roll Ramen, Garlic Shroom & Classic Piggy for sure, we’ll that’s if we can get a seat! Can’t wait to go back!

Kumiso is a perfect example of a hidden gem with cuisine that delivers a fun and playful menu showcasing a "rolls and ramen" based concept. I love the crispy rice with fresh yellowtail and the pork ramen otherwise known as the classic piggy will be a favorite of mine especially in the winter as they are open year round!

Great atmosphere. Great Food. Exceptional service.
