Napeague State Park

It's quite magical if you know how to find the spot 😁 I am a photographer so I look for those

Brautiful loop trail, a little under 2 miles taking the longest path optipns. More of a walk than a hike, extremely well marked & cleared.

Terrain changes throughout from Pines to brambles to dunes & beach. Wear a mask, stay out of the tick grass.

Love coming out east to see the Montauk Lighthouse. All of the surrounding areas are great. It is really quiet and peaceful. If you are lucky you get to see the deer roaming around and feeding off the grasses. It's a great place to drive and go to get a sense of peace; not as busy.

Great place to walk in the morning, have lunch or just hang out.Perfection💙🌅🏄🏊🐳🏖not as many surfers as Montauk but quite a few lately.also quite a few whale sightings this summer

We thoroughly enjoyed our leisurely hike on The Promised Land trail and the Beach Loop. Wonderful diversity of flora and fauna. Trails are well marked and are suitable for people of all hiking levels & experience. No problems with parking here either - there's a dedicated lot at the trail head.

Thanks to the NYS Land Conservation team for keeping this precious place beautiful!

Wonderful hike...beautiful beach looking out at Gardiners Bay

Lovely 2 mile flat loop. Be prepared for sandy parts.

This is a beautiful place to go hiking or biking. Just be careful during hunting season.

Beautiful and easy hike. Great for all ages. The trails were marked.

Very nice pine 🌲barrens ecosystem. Cool epiphytes, rare flora and blueberries and cranberries in season. Peaceful, quiet, and deserted from October through May. No parking, take your bike. Also make sure to tuck your socks in and do a tick check post walk/hike.... Ticks are abundant and are vectors for several nasty diseases including Lyme's, erichliosis, and encephalitis.

The fall run of stripers and bluefish is world class.

Stay on the trails!! Do not wonder into the grassy areas tick and lone star nymph heaven...

Napeague State Park is a gorgeous bird conservation area, with kayakers and wind surfers loving Napeague Harbor (which empties into Gardeners Bay). Parking next to the almost-deserted beach requires an East Hampton Town beach permit, however - which is why the place is so beautiful and so virtually empty even on the busiest of tourist seasons. Yes, they absolutely do ticket interlopers!

Very nice trail with a variety of scenery including sand dunes, beach, woods and meadow.

Nice park, with a straight forward trail. Nothing super exciting, but empty outside of the summer and hunting season.

Long bike ride from the ferry district, but so beautiful it is an ideal hybrid on/off road trek.

Beautiful trails of pine trees and walking-dunes lead to beach and back.
