Went to this class knowing nothing at all about guns and left with so much knowledge on guns, the laws, and more. This class was hands down the best class ever. The instructor, Mr. Burwell was amazing. The information I learned in this class was very much needed and useful. He made sure that we knew everything there was to know. I recommend this class to anybody who wants to learn the ins and outs of guns. Mr. Burwell is the perfect instructor for this class. I 100% recommend this class.

Firearms class was fun, engaging, and educational. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to receive their conceal and carry permit. The host was very informative on the laws for carrying a concealed firearm and how to conduct yourself when being pulled over or approached by law enforcement. If you are looking for a class to take that is educational and fun, Double B Firearms Academy is the class to take! I highly recommend it.

I attended the concealed carry class and Mr. Burwell , the instructor was so informative and engaging! I learned so much about gun laws etc that I didn't know before. I would recommend this class to anyone!

Everything was great! It was extremely informative as well! It also wasn’t boring either. With it being 8am-5pm, I was nervous I would be bored but Burwell kept it entertaining but still very educational! Going out to practice shooting was great too! I recommend this business to everyone who is interested in Concealed Carry!!

Taking my concealed weapons class was a great experience, that I think everyone should experience if they carry or think about carrying any kind of personal protection. My Instructor Mr. William Burwell was very professional and extremely knowledgeable on the subject at hand. To add to the overall experience, another instructor came in to inform us on how to protect ourselves on the judicial side.To all my love ones and friends, please take Mr. Burwell's class for the life time of knowledge that you will receive. Trust and believe you will not be disappointed when you leave.

I knew nothing about firearms and was kinda anxious before taking the class, but the confidence in the instructor made everything disarming, he has allot of good stories to tell, he teaches you everything you need to know directly from the law of North Carolina, and he is very patient with all students including the ones who required extra patience. As my first time firing a firearm I didn’t expect to hit as many X’s as I did, as his training before even stepping onto the firing range made that possible, it was just as easy as listening to him. And the class didn’t even feel as long as it actually was as it was engaging, fun, and educational at the same time, as a new resident in persons county I’m going to say this is the best conceal carry course from these specific people you can take in Roxboro North Carolina and ALL of North Carolina if you are anywhere near Roxboro NC.

This was the greatest experience ever, the teacher Mr l. William is amazing, and the knowledge he has is incredible, I would definitely recommend anyone needing to take the class or just wanting the knowledge of carrying a concealed firearm chose this instructor.

First time shooting and loading a gun! I learned so much at Double B Firearms. Mr. Burwell was so informative and you can tell this is not only his passion but his purpose. Mr. Burwell was very good at explaining to us what to do in certain situations. His “plan ahead” talks really get you thinking. I was prepared to shot when we got out of class and scored well due to his instructions. I would highly recommend taking his class. He has decades of law enforcement experience!

Awesome Instructor who was super in depth and gave great insights on how to be a better firearm carrier in general. Recommend this class to anyone who wants to get concealed carry or wants to further educate themselves.

Want to know about firearms? Double B is the place to go. He knows what he is talking about, he tells you everything you need to know. It was such a great class, the day flew by. I passed, I'm a little bit smarter, safer, and legal.

I am a seasoned shooter however I was not bored with the class nor the shooting qualification. This class was geared toward new shooters and was clearly explained and broken down to the basics so everyone should understand.

Double B was fantastic. The instructor made the class fun, laughable, knowledgeable, and very much hands on. Would gladly attend more classes.

William and his wife were great! Both are down to earth, professional & have good senses of humor. The course was informative & I left feeling more equipped and prepared to carry. I don't have experience with guns but the info, stories and examples shared were a huge eye opener & helped me see things from different perspectives & also just how much care & responsibility the choice to carry really involves. William patiently answered all of our questions while remaining on schedule & kept us engaged throughout the day. I pray I never have to use a gun but at least now I'll know what I'm doing if I ever have to in self defense. I've already recommended Double B & will continue to. You won't regret it. If you're going in the cold months just be sure to dress warm, take a good coat, scarf, hat, GLOVES, AND hand/feet warmers (for the outdoor/range portion).🥶 Thank y'all for sharing your knowledge with us! I attended the Double B Firearms Academy Concealed Carry Course held on 02/10/24. It was truly excellent training received. Definitely a top notch facility that not only teaches you how to handle a fire arm correctly but makes sure you exit the class understanding the laws and your responsibility in owning and handling a firearm.

Classroom training and range training was excellent. Safety was top priority. The instructor is very knowledgeable, showed great patience and answered all classroom and range questions from all attendees in detail which included the instructor's life experiences.
I would recommend Double B Firearms Academy to all.
