Taps On The River

We came here for lunch with our furry baby Ginger.
We were welcomed and offered to sit inside though we thought probably with the dog we couldn't. It was hot outside so we decided to sit inside. The service was great, we were treated like guests and even our Ginger too. They provided a water bowl for our furry baby. We ordered drinks and a beer flight which comes with a variety of beers. Black Cherry soda and Root beer float. The appetizer was brussel sprouts, garlic fries and we shared the watermelon summer salad with steak and chicken wings. The food was great, the service indeed was great and the ambience is quite comfortable. They do have restrooms outside. It must be definitely amazing to sit outside in the evening to see the view of water and sunsetting skies. I definitely recommend this place as first we were hesitant if it would be like a brewery kind only but the restaurant is great as well.

Taps is great! Great food! Beautiful indoor and outdoor seating! They have a bar; with TVs to watch sports! Friendly staff. Definitely worth going to! Have a great day!❤😃⚓🍔🏞

I’ve been to Taps a few times in the past year. We started going here because they have a vegetarian patty option. I like the pretzel. This time I got their beet salad and it was beautiful and tasty. One time I went there because I was craving a sausage and sauerkraut, good service. Visit was the first time we got to sit right on the water, the patio is nice.

Wow man, the loaded fries. Those were legit. Try those first. But then dig into the rest of the menu. There's several hidden gems in there. I'll be back. Try and stop me.

Top beer (and more) selection in Sonoma county. Family friendly hangout bring your dog in the huge outdoor patio on the river enjoy the view and watch the sunset. Menu has a good variety of food to complement all the beers, wings are tasty and Shawn-won fries are decadent if you don’t see them in the menu ask for them.

Good food... I tried the deep fried hot dog it was awesome. I tried the hamburger it was also very good. I did not care for the cheese that came with the pretzel although it wasn't bad it just was not what I expected. I prefer the beer cheese. They also have a good selection of beers.

Great food, beer, and service. Pork belly mac &cheese is a must. And if your feeling gutsy get the stage 3 sauce for hot wings!!👌👌👌 lots and lots of great beer, plus awesome view!!

Great place and an amazing view of the river. I lived sitting outside! They have so many different flavors of beer and ales but I love the cider the best!

Excellent place for wings and burgers , with a fire pit upon request. Great beer selection. Family place , so crying babies are the norm.

There's plenty of parking at the golden eagle shopping center where Taps is located. Today when we arrived we were greeted by the hostess and we checked out the menu before we decided if we were going to be seated or not. Everyone was wearing their mask including the hostess. We decided the menu looked great and that we would like to be seated. I feel as if the tables were spaced apart appropriately . I didn't feel too close to anyone . It was all outdoor seating and the view of the Petaluma River and the businesses nearby that lay along the river was a pleasant atmosphere and a great backdrop. My friend had the barbecue burger and a side salad. I had a steak Caesar salad which I ate the whole thing. it was amazing. I also had a mango Mimosa which settled in nicely and was Blended very well. My friend and I stayed inside and chat for a while while other tables came and gone. The servers were very patient they didn't rush us and when we were done we were able to stick around and take a few pictures of the background in the backdrop. I have gone to Taps a lot of times, I'm glad they are still open and able to serve the community

Had a beautiful lunch here today. Great food and excellent service. Started out with the deep fried brussel sprouts..to die for! And I went with the Tree Hugger sandwich minus the bread and it was very tasty! I'll be back!!

Lovely atmosphere, brilliant dog friendly location. Beer and wine only..

That have a huge and diverse beer selection! The location can be hard to find towards the back of the parking lot, but their food is great, the patio is nice and let's out onto a great view of the Petaluma River

Cool place with an even cooler atmosphere. Their beer selection was fantastic and even though the selection of food was small what they did have was great. Definitely going back next time I visit Petaluma.

Great spot on the petaluma River and with the small town vibe and hills off in the distance the best way to enjoy is on a picnic table with one of the many rotation of beers on tap

Great food and service. Restaurant overlooks the Petaluma River Basin in downtown Petaluma. Try the brisket sandwich. It is incredible.

We had the best time at Taps, the wait staff was very welcoming and accommodating and the beer and cider selection was awesome and varied! Definitely will be coming back, thank you!

We came in last minute on a Saturday night with 25 people including 10 children . They did a phenomenal job accommodating our party and went out of their way to seat us all together outside on the patio. The kids enjoyed the lawn Jenga next to our tables. Our meals all came out hot and delicious. Everyone really enjoyed their food choices, particularly the burgers and fish/chips. Our bill between multiple parties were sorted out flawlessly and our waitress was so patient and efficient with ordering, refilling drinks, and making sure we had what we needed throughout the evening. Highly recommend TAPs for its amazing service, food, and ambiance right on the river.

Lovely place for big groups. Dinner with two families on the river was perfection. The beer selection was great and the service was friendly. Highly recommend!
