Pat has done a phenomenal job creating a welcoming and inclusive space. He is a dedicated coach who continuously works to provide the highest quality learning experiences for his students. You'll be hard pressed to find a and knowledgeable and caring coach than Pat. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who wants to learn Jiu Jitsu or advance their current skill level.

I came in, met welcoming and ambitious students and instructors. Pat (the owner/head instructor) does a great job of teaching, but also encouraging students to adapt their own style to their jiu jitsu.
I had been looking for a new sport/hobby to dedicate myself to. I came here and met determined and passionate people, and I knew was in the right place.

Dropped in today and met some of the 9am killers. Randy was excellent and extremely detailed. I would strongly recommend him to anyone. Love the opportunity to learn from a different coach. Looking forward to stopping by again.

I can’t recommend 10th Planet Springfield highly enough. The atmosphere is challenging, motivating, and a heck of a lot of fun! 100% of class time is dedicated to learning jiu jitsu within the complex, ever-changing nature of the game, with no time wasted on warmups or dead drilling. The results are incredible: I still can’t believe how quickly I'm feeling myself and my teammates improve. There’s measurable progress from the beginning to the end of every single class. The coaches are passionate about teaching and dedicated to helping students at all levels realize their potential.

The mats are the highest quality and the mat space is huge and clean. I appreciate the equal facilities for men and women so that everybody has the same opportunities both on and off the mats. The business is run with integrity and fosters connections within the local grappling community. Whether you’re stepping on the mats for the first time or an experienced competitor looking to sharpen your skills, this is the place to be.

Pat is a great instructor and the environment is very welcoming. BJJ is an amazing way to get fit, learn a new skill and socialize all at the same time. The discipline is challenging and humbling and while it is a combat sport, you more often than not leave feeling more peaceful. They also have kids classes and I can't wait until my daughters are old enough to participate.

Love the atmosphere and professionalism of this gym! As someone who was new to BJJ and a women I felt welcomed and at home among the members. The teachers are attentive and help you thoroughly when learning new movements.

Also, the owner was very understanding and helpful when it came to membership holds during the bulk shut down period of the pandemic.

I have been training at 10th Planet Springfield for over 2 years and love it here! Pat, the owner and head instructor, is a professional and patient head coach. I have only been going a couple weeks but I am addicted. Pat is amazing. I like the small class sizes and gym size. Everyone I have meet here so far have been so nice and everyone wants everyone to learn. No egos. I don’t feel overwhelmed or judged. Amazing workout and amazing people. I am never on time for anything and I am early for these classes. It’s easily becoming my favorite part of the day.

Great atmosphere, very friendly, very clean facility. I dropped in for a class while on travel, everyone was welcoming and helpful. As a newer white belt everyone (obviously) smashed me, but they all executed the submissions very slowly and safely! Very impressed with how clean the mats, restrooms, and entire facility was.

Eddie Bravo and his 10th Planet System are renowned in the martial arts world so when I discovered there was a 10th Planet school in my backyard I had to become a part of it.

Just started training BJJ. I couldn't think of a better place to do so. The instructor is very knowledgeable and knows exactly how to reach out to the students not only giving classes but by giving private lessons to students as well. I look forward to going here every day its loads of fun, and a great way to keep your mind and body active.

I have been a member at 10th planet Springfield since it first opened. The head instructor pat campagnola has done an amazing job with this school. I have been to different martial arts schools all over the country, and the environment at 10th planet is the most welcoming I have seen. The school has a wide range of students with different goals and reasons for training, and classes are geared towards everyone.The school offers numerous fundamental/beginner classes for someone who has no prior experience. The school also has a wide number of students who compete regularly in competitions and do extremely well. Pat regularly competes, travels to train with other affiliates, and holds seminars at the school all geared toward helping his students improve. 10th planet is a unique evolving system of brazilian jiu jitsu and this area is lucky to have a school like this around. I would highly recommend checking out a class!
