Wow! My sister and I are blown away and seriously kicking ourselves for not coming in sooner! We have lived down the street for the last two years and just now got the opportunity to check this place out and now it may become an active staple in our lives! The grocery selection for things like farm fresh eggs, pasta noodles, wines, ice cream, and so on is enough to get us to keep coming back. BUT THE FOOD. We got the breakfast bowl and the egg sandwich for an awesome price and it was worth so much more! Plus, the staff (possibly the owner) were the kindest people in DFW! Please go check them out!!!

We like to stop in for lunch from time to time. It’s a cozy little place with tasty food, sweet treats, and quality pantry/gift items available for sale. The owner and staff are wonderful as well! There is one thing that really took us by surprise though and that is their cinnamon rolls! They are truly the BEST I have ever had! Definitely a hidden gem! As long as they keep baking cinnamon rolls, we will be making them apart of our Christmas morning tradition! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a cinnamon roll!

I had been outside at a warm softball game and all I wanted was a fresh ingredient sandwich that when you eat the bread is soft, it barely fits in your hand and as you eat it the delicious vegetables with wonderful sauce fall into the basket! That is what I got! Amazing. Potato salad was fantastic too. Very sweet staff and a precious quiet place to sit and eat. 5 star!

Local Fav - Great Deli Experience

This deli has the small town vibe and is surprisingly an eclectic grocer with some specialty foods, brews and a delicious hot / cold deli menu. Thus far my wife and I have had the muffuletta, ruben and chili… all delectable!

This place is so cute. You can get the sandwiches turned into salads! Their chicken salad was wonderful. The freshly baked blueberry scones topped with icing were delicious. I also picked up some chocolate covered espresso beans and Italian Maraschino cherries.

My wife and I visited Heimbaker's today to see if their breakfast is as good as their deli/lunch/dinner options and the answer is a wholehearted YES! We started with the cinnamon roll (huge enough for 2 people to share) and a 20 oz cold brew coffee.
The cinnamon roll was baked in house with a soft outside and perfect yeasty balance in the dough. The vanilla icing was generously applied on top, but somehow managed to not overpower the flavor of the roll itself and the cinnamon glaze on the inside, which is outstanding. The cold brew was a great match for the cinnamon roll with a not too sweet, not too strong flavor and smooth finish.
Now let's get to the main attractions...my wife had the egg sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant (you choose your meat and type of bread, including sourdough 👍). I had the breakfast taco with egg, cheese, ham, red/green pepper and onion (you choose your meat).
The egg sandwich was sublime. The croissant was buttery and flaky and even better, thick enough to hold in all of the good stuff inside without having the croissant fall apart.
The breakfast taco was gigantic, as well. The fresh 6-inch flour was filled with scrambled eggs, sliced ham, and thick slices of red/green pepper and onion. Awesome flavor and very filling. Price for our entire meal was a very reasonable $21. We will be back soon!!!!

Awesome little bakery with deli style food. I had the Italian Hero sandwich, and it was delicious, the bread was warm, and all the ingredients were very fresh.

They also offer a great selection of cheeses, crackers, pickles and other deli favorites. Great spot for lunch or shopping for gift baskets.

I will definitely be returning for another sandwich.

One of the best sandwich shops I've been to in the area. The Italian Hero and Philly cheese steak are not just great, they are higher class of sandwich that chain restaurants wish they could make. Tried the chicken salad today and while it was unique, it was amazing.

Very cute little deli style sandwich shop. They have a shop with so many delicious items like preserves, habanero pickles, salsas. I'd definitely recommend the pickles.

What a great restaurant! We popped in for breakfast and were really impressed. I had the bacon, egg and cheese on sourdough and had to take half home because it was bigger than I expected. The thick cut bacon was perfectly cooked, not soggy but not brittle, and the tomato added a nice flavor. My husband had the sausage, egg and cheese croissant. He really enjoyed it and said the sausage had a great flavor. We also split a cinnamon roll and it was delicious. We will definitely be back to try their deli sandwiches next!

Wow!! The holiday slider is out-of-this-world delicious!!!! Save your self some time and order 2 or more! This sandwich shop is the BEST in ALL categories!!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you want great food, wonderful ambience, and to feel like you’re at home surrounded by family… this is your new spot!

It’s quite a bit of a drive for us, but totally worth it!

Bonnie was absolutely AMAZING. I brought my 2.5 year old kiddo and he LOVED IT! Bonnie was so welcoming and my little one ADORED her!

They also have a bunch of canned goods and pasta. I got some pickled eggs for the hubby and some pasta for myself, maybe I’ll share. 😉

Food is delicious, and you get a lot for your money! The Italian cut meats are the freshest in the area. PokeyOs is inside, so get a fresh-baked-cookie ice cream sandwich for dessert. There’s a candy corner, a market full of locally-crafted Texas goodies (and more), farm fresh produce, and plants & herbs for sale. Cozy indoor seating complete with games for kids, and a welcoming patio. There’s also wine & beer.

My wife came in and ordered the Italian Hero and a cinnamon roll for lunch today. She said the sandwich was delicious. We split the cinnamon roll and it was perfectly made!

We actually ended up coming back for dinner because I was jealous of her sandwich early in the day. Haha. We ordered the meatball sandwich, Philly cheese sandwich, and cookies…. and again everything was absolutely outstanding. Will be coming back for sure!

Generous and tasty sandwiches along with sides, Pokey O's cookies, and ice cream. Tried The Felix (Italian sub) and Cheesesteak sandwiches, both of which were enough for two meals for most folks. The deli store has many unique salsas and gifts. They also carry locally farmed meats. They have seating if you prefer to eat in the market.

Ok this place is a hidden Easter egg, the food and staff are awesome, had a burger, OMG it was next level, probably the best burger I have had in Roanoke. Wife had the patty melt now I need to go back to have one of those.

The classic Philly was absolutely delicious!! Best I’ve ever had!

Amazing store & so excited they’re on our great little Oak Street! So many great east coast yumminess like sandwiches, candy & drinks! Will definitely go back!

Unique spot, tasty food, southern hospitality but with an upstate vibe. My kiddos always get the subs and I love their salads! Then you have to have a scoop of ice cream since they have a Pokyo’s ice cream, conveniently located inside of the shop!

The Market was fun to browse, a couple rows of various local products, and from the Deli we had sandwiches and sides. Great food, friendly owners, we will be back.
