I had an outstanding experience during my visit to Home Depot!

Every staff's willingness to assist and guide me in the right direction truly stood out… When I had questions about products or needed assistance finding specific items, every employee was friendly and knowledgeable. I also purchased a few pieces of wood and had them cut to my preferred measurements.

I'll definitely be returning for all my home improvement needs!

They have the cheapest Water Troughs compared to Lowes & Tractor Supply. Their 2x4 is $119 while in Tractor Supply, we bought it for $183 (Tax Inclusive). Was so disappointed with Tractor Supply. Always check Home Depot for better prices and if you're on a budget.

Elvis in customer service is super. Very knowledgeable, takes charge, helpful, and friendly. This guy should be valued and appreciated. What a great experience

it's home depot if you need help ask a employee and they will help you its awesome to have such a huge chain that maybe just teaches customer service or they just hire customer service oriented employee's

The staff have recently taken it up a notch. I don't know if they have new management or new training, but it is a better store. Friendlier, happy to help and enthusiastically engaging people. Nice place to get what you need.

Andrew in Customer Service was extremely helpful with our appliance purchases and opening our 2 new accounts. He went above and beyond and stayed after the store closed to complete the transaction right! deff recommend

Happy to do business with this Home Depot. Visited the Roanoke location earlier this evening to get some supplies and advice on a minor plumbing issue. Mark in the Plumbing Dept was very friendly and knowledgeable. Always encounter good hospitality at this HD, which is hard to come by these days. 👍🏼

Home Depot is a great store! You can find so many things that you need! They have great deals often! They give a military discount for veterans and their families. I found an awesome Gerber machete and knife for $24! I totally wrapped it and put it under the tree for me for Christmas! Home Depot is a fun place to go to help with home improvement projects!

White dad paradise on a weekend morning, you know you can hear The Home Depot song in your head! Great guys here, don't normally ask for help today I did since in a new homeowner. Got what I needed and the place was like half empty too. No Walmart wait line!!!

Went there looking for a p trap that was u shaped for my ac unit. Couldn't find 1 so had to make my own. Asked a worker for some help and he had a couple of ideas, so I bought the supplies and built a p trap that was similar to what we had. It worked!!

Very helpful staff with everything we needed!!

We came to this Home Depot with some very specific lumber needs and were able to obtain the items we needed. It seems like this particular store has more very long lumber items than other stores I have been to. Typical sizes like 2x4, 2x6, and 2x8 were in 20ft lengths were available in large quantities. Even very large panels like 2x12 were available in 20ft lengths with plenty of stock. The large-scale lumber is very conveniently positioned so as to be close to the contractor doors with nothing else in between. Most of the stores have a sideways aisle between the lumber section and the doors, but this one has nothing in the way. This arrangement is probably due to the large number of homes being built in the area, but it proved convenient for our needs.

I had to come leave a review after such a great experience. Last week, my husband, daughter, and I were getting paint for a home project and Bethany in the paint department was not only helpful to us, but so sweet and so patient with our 2 year old, who kept handing her the paint color cards. Our daughter was just fascinated with Bethany and she was so sweet, even letting our daughter carry around her little Elsa doll she kept behind the counter. A parent never forgets such kindness towards their kid. Thank you so much.

Very nice people IF and when you can find someone. But that tends to be my issue with most HD's. It's almost gotten to the point where I start calling the front desk from my phone as I walk in if I know I'm going to need assistance as trying to find someone while on the floor is tricky in most of the stores. However, that being said, the folks at the Roanoke store are always very nice and helpful.
