Chatter Box Cafe

This is a great spot in Chattanooga for some barbecue! It was a bit confusing at first because we had never been there before, and we didn't realize it was only a drive-thru. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the bbq nachos and loved it! We were given plenty of bbq sauce and all of the toppings for the nachos were separated, which was fantastic. The bbq and the sauce had great flavor. We had great service as well!

Dhang that was good. Brisket is on point chicken is super awesome. They always have several smokers going at once and smells delicious. The sauce is great even has a little cinnamon hint so I’m guessing they make it their selves. The smoked Mac and cheese is possibly the best I love ever had. Not sure if they make their slaw from scratch but it has honey and apples in it, I know apples sound a little off but it’s great. Price is a little higher, but you get what you pay for! We’ll be back for sure.

Got the pulled pork plate with mac and cheese and fried okra. Great portions. It was all delicious. Drive thru confused me but besides that I had a nice experience

The wing were very tasty and I got them with the cajun sauce. A little kick my 2 sides were baked beans they were pretty good and the mac & cheese. The mac & cheese so ok. The bread i could eat by itself (which i did). Great customer service and feiendly staff.

We made the pilgrimage from FT. Myers Florida today for lunch and it did not disappoint. We could smell the BBQ from a mile away. Great service and an eclectic collection of smokers. We look forward to coming back.

Oh should probably mention the food was amazing. It’s a Chattanooga Gem.

Chatterbox prepared food for our 48th family reunion! Everything was excellent! The staff was very professional, courteous and very punctual. Our food selections were deliciously prepared, seasoned to perfection, and food was hot. The staff greeted everyone with a smile. We had an abundance of food which easily fed 300. Everyone could not stop talking about how delicious everything tasted. I live in North Carolina and have never had this quality barbeque, chicken, fish, slaw, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, etc., that was seasoned in the manner that we had during our picnic! I give this place 10🌠⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!

Really enjoyed! We ordered for takeout and the chicken bbq nachos were delicious. I tried both sauces they offered and the spicy and sweet sauces mixed together were perfect. There was plenty of food, I could have shared my single order

They just down the road from the new VA CLINIC SO AFTER SITTING AROUND THE VA MOST OF THE DAY ROLL ON DOWN TO CHATTER BOX.

Came to Chattanooga as a mini vacation and made it a point to stop in and get food. The brisket was tender beyond belief, pulled chicken was juicy, loved the crispy skin on the wings, the food was not heavy but very filling, added note to the amazing coleslaw - it was a great twist to a classic southern dish. Can't forget about the super friendly staff. If you are looking for BBQ then this is your place.

We used Chatterbox to cater our 4-year covid delayed wedding reception, and it was outstanding! They were great to work with in coordinating everything, and the food was wonderful! We had brisket & chicken sliders, smoked wings, and they made my dreams of a nacho bar come true! We got so many compliments on the delicious food, and I'm still enjoying the leftovers! Highly recommend!

I'm not a brisket girl...until today!! My husband came home with a lunch plate from Chatter Box. The smell alone made me interested. Not 5 minutes later I'm standing over this box with a whole new love for brisket!! Wow, I've just never found the right place which is why I've never been a lover. The sauce with cinnamon is also amazing. So, I had entree envy from his lunch and the next time he goes back I'll be getting my own.

I REALLY enjoyed my meal from Chatterbox. The sauce for the smoked pork I had was some of the best I’ve had. I also really liked that it’s served on the side rather than drenching the meat because sometimes too much sauce is overwhelming and the flavor of the meat is lost. The potato salad was some of the best I’ve ever had. It had a certain something to it that I’ve never experienced before in potato salad. The honey apple slaw was tasty and super crisp. Perfection. Can’t wait to go back.

I drive by here everyday, and after a long hard day at work I decided to stop. I wasn't disappointed at all. I would seriously work here just to be able to have some of this food everyday. I got a pulled pork BBQ sandwich and two tacos for my son. He is very picky and he finished his plate. The only trouble I had was deciding which was better, the mild sauce or the spicy. Today was my first visit and I promise it won't be the last. A true gem in Chattanooga.

Had the rib plate! Highly recommend. Some of the best bbq I’ve had in Chatt. Will be back!

Love this place! Definitely my new favorite for barbecue. Love their unique sides. Sauce is really tasty. And really generous portion sizes. Will definitely be eating here more often.

I'm a field service guy and travel Monday through Friday. I am from North Carolina and I absolutely love BBQ. Another tech was with me and we stopped in yesterday and ate on the patio. Great food, great service and the owners talked with us a bit. 10/10 heavily recommend. Loved it!

Phenomenal brisket! The best bbq in town! Coleslaw was out of this world. Do yourself a favor and go.

I was skeptical having visited on a Tuesday and finding them closed and then reading some less than favorable reviews. Yes, the prices are higher than other places, but the quality of the food is much better. I got a pork platter with honey & apple slaw and French fries. The pork is extremely moist and seasoned well, but not flooded with too much smoke. The fries are fresh cut and excellent. The slaw is better than most that I've had. Make sure you order outside on the patio, as I was scolded when I tried to go in an unlocked door which did not have a sign telling me to stay out. Hours are a bit odd, as they are open Wednesday through Saturday. You should definitely treat yourself at least once - you'll likely go back...

I finally stopped to try this place out. Ordered the Brisket plate with baked beans and fried okra. Hands down some of the best brisket I’ve ever had. It was so tender and moist that I never used the sweet sauce that came with it. Loved the baked beans and fried okra. The plate is huge and well worth every penny.
