Whata Taco Authentic Mexican Food

EVERYTHING about this place was amazing! Customer service was very personable. Spoke english, helpful with food choice. You can tell they make everything fresh. The flavors were on point! We ordered chicken and shrimp fijatis, steak tacos on corn, beans and rice. Out of all the places we have ever been, I will drive the 25 mins over and over again for more Whata tacos!
We enjoyed that the owner came to our table and talked with us for a few moments. Very nice inside. 10 out of 10!

I usually give them a five on everything. But unfortunately the meat was very fatty. My shells was not fully cooked. Meat wasn’t cooked well. This was my first bad experience with them. They were closing and gave me half of a taco. Please do better with the meat portion. I spent my last few dollars because I’m pregnant and was craving for these tacos and the sauce. I was crying because I’m emotional because of my baby and I wanted to taste of these tacos. 🌮. I’m still gon come back. But if they taste the same again I won’t never return.

The food is awesome EVERYTIME. It is my guilty pleasure. Packed with flavor. Always fresh to order in person and via courier service. My favorite is the steak tostadas and birria tacos. They never disappoint. 5 Stars all around.

Walked in quite a few folks I knew it must of been good and very reasonable. I had a delicious shrimp tostado loaded with shrimp and a cod taco appeared to be a whole filet. Really tasty. The cashier was very friendly.

I appreciate the hospitality and customer service of the front counter staff as you are welcomed/greeted before placing your order. The atmosphere is pleasant and not very noisy and I enjoy the fact that there's not heavy "people traffic" coming in and going out. I love that your order is never a long wait! Sometimes, the cooks in the back sing when they're excited and enjoy themselves as they prepare your food--which is a "treat"! Lastly, the weekly specials are amazing! Taco Tuesdays/Thursdays are awesome for me personally. Shout out to Ms. Carla, the amazing, beautiful cashier! Great place to dine at and the whole staff is just very kind, courteous, hospitable, and respectful! Take full advantage of this wonderful place to eat and their specials are so great and "easy on the pockets" for those needed moments 😀.

Customer service very fast. Food was on time. Very delicious. Cashier was training but did very good with pace and customer service. The guy Mike was very kind and helpful. A very nice place to come. And best tacos in suburbs

I went here with no expectations bc I just wanted something to eat at 11pm and I was pleasantly surprised. I got the chicken taco dinner with the mild sauce and it was absolutely excellent. If you are in the area and have a taste for tacos you should definitely stop in. The wait wasn't long either :)

They FINALLY opened back up and they are better than ever. Fresh new menu, sauces are better, food is still authentic and so yummy. I've been here 3 times in the last 2 weeks. I love this place!!

She was pleasant and professional, something that is lacking in a lot of other establishments.

And my wife finished a whole steak Gordita and lamb birria taco which she said was “to die for”!

The cook it doing a great job he could use some help, though.

Shrimp Tacos were amazing, and torta was decent. Best beans rice and beans I've tasted

My favorite taco would be the surf and turf taco. I would definitely recommend trying it

Everything about this place was great from the customer service to the pricings to the quality and taste of the food. Definitely recommend the gorditas and shrimp tacos.

I love they fish cod tacos with the coleslaw on it, baby I drive all the way from the west side of Chicago for these tacos

I catered a company lunch through Whata Taco and we couldn’t be happier! Mike was great at listening to what we needed. The food was ready on time for pick up. It was hot and fresh. It all tasted great and the few left overs we had held up and people were able to enjoy them the next few days! We got steak, beef, chicken and vegetarian tacos with a mix of flour and corn shells. Everyone loved the rice and beans too and all the sauces! We will definitely cater through Whata Taco again!
