I've been here several times. The food is always delicious. The prices are reasonable. The customer service and atmosphere is awesome. Smokey G's satisfied my craving! Do try it - you won't be disappointed!

Adding 2 my first review. Rib tips are too good & so tender! I’ve had the majority of the menu through my MULTIPLE visits and I haven’t been disappointed yet! Turkey and Brussel sprouts yummy AF too! Perfectly seasoned and prepared! And the catering is a blessing for my family with strenuous work schedules! Rib tips, salmon, hot sausage, half chicken, ribs 😋🤤 Brisket ALL melts n your mouth!

Stopped in and got the pulled chicken sandwhich, mac and cheese, and fries, side of coleslaw, all were FANTASTIC.
Some of the best mac and cheese, really tender chicken, the best slaw I've had, and fries were perfect.

Company hired Smokey Gs for Holiday Lunch. Amazing. Brisket and wings were perfect. I personally enjoyed the sweet potatoes and beans

I’m a teacher and our principal catered lunch for our first day back! Food was great! Chicken looked so good, but I’m pescatarian so I could only get the salmon (which was juicy and flavorful). Will definitely be putting an order in soon!

The food is amazing. We had green beans, salmon, chicken, salads, peach cobbler, Mac n cheese, all very flavorful. Some of the best I have had, truly.

I was referred to Smokey G's last year. Greg not only cooked my turkey, he delivered it to me.
This year my co-workers wanted to do a potluck and I turned to Greg again, this time a smoked Brisket. My co-workers are still talking about the main dish.

I will be using his services again. Great atmosphere, friendly. You will not go wrong selecting Smokey G's for your Holiday season or any other occasion.

"This is amazing" was literally the statement. Words won't completely describe what you're about to encounter. Let me just list what we had: ribs(bones), rib tips, pulled pork, salmon, mac n cheese, cole slaw, baked beans, potato salad AND the strawberry lemonade 💀🤗 Lastly, do yourself a favor and read the signs... This day there was a sign for a chefs platter which was for the win.

Smokey G’s food isn’t good, it’s phenomenal. Not just the best barbecue but the best food I’ve ever had from top to bottom. I would eat this over a fancy sit down any day. The main dishes are seasoned and cooked to perfection. Don’t sleep on the sides either! Great service and delivery. Greg knows his stuff too. Ask him what goes into bringing this good of food to your plate and you’ll know why it’s that good. I’d give this 10 stars if I could!

Amazing food! The ribs were so flavorful, moist, and smoky that you really didn't even need the sauce that came with them. The pulled chicken sandwich was good too, but the ribs are really where it's at. Mac and cheese was excellent. Beans and cole slaw were great too. The owner Greg is very nice and enjoys sharing his methods, history, etc. Do not skip this place!

Today Smokey G's Smokehouse gave out free rib tips to Veterans! 🤗 How awesome is that?! ❤🙌🏾 If I do say so myself, please do try the brisket! It's amazing, tender, slowly smoked over apple wood. 😋😋 If you want some good food, make your way here! And the ambiance is amazing, off the river, and with plenty of open space! ❤🙌🏾

Genuinely the best salmon I’ve ever had!! And was extremely pleasant when i noticed him in public. Even told me about a chowder that i seriously must try. Can’t wait to try everything on the new season menu.

I ordered the rib sandwich with a side of mac and cheese. It came with three bones, a piece of wheat bread, and a little container of slaw. Also included was oz cup of sauce. The ribs didn't have any on them. The sauce was sweet with a little heat and the coleslaw was tasty but the star of the show were the fall off the bone ribs. They were seasoned well and very tender. The Mac and cheese was ok but I've had better. It was good enough to keep the five star rating.

We absolutely love the food here! They have smokers out back so its the real deal. They know what they're doing! We've had the brisket and pulled pork. I feel like their sides are pricey but they are good.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. It has great scenery on the waterfront the food is good the fries are well season and the vegan burger is excellent. Nice little cozy atmosphere that you are sure to enjoy.

Unbelievably delicious food! Not sure why there wasn’t a line around the block for this place! We had the brisket, rib tips and Mac and cheese. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. Super nice people too. We’ll be back!

Visited this restaurant TWICE...absolutely loved their ribs and peach cobbler. However, their coleslaw really took me out! I typically don't eat coleslaw, but tried it since it was included with my meal. Even the coleslaw was SLAMMING. The restaurant is located right outside of the Detroit River and there is outdoor seating. So you can enjoy good food while listening to good music all the while enjoying the view of the river. I highly recommend this place, especially while the weather permits.
