Very impressed! Clean well lit establishment is what I like when dining out. The service is spot on. All staff members wore smiles and are eager to serve you. The appetizer platter was so good, we couldn't wait for the rest of our food. All the sushi rolls we ordered were amazing and fresh (Lava, Crunchy, Ninja, Phoenix, Salmon Avocado Cucumber and Spicy Yellowtail Cucumber). Every entrée was also wonderful. Great place for lunch or supper, you won't be disappointed.

Ashley Joy Jason and Allison Rae really make this place feel homely and vibrant. Always a hit after 5pm any day of the week. The wait staff are prompt , the kitchen staff are quick and efficient and the food always comes out yummy. I’m always pleased by the food and comraderie amongst workers. I would definitely take time to check this place out . It’s typically packed especially on weekends in the afternoon and evening. During the summer it’s hard to get a spot so opt for the bar if you can. Ashley or Rae at the bar will take care of you . I frequent here weekly so it has to be good ! If you haven’t tried eel before I would do the unagi don! Must try !

How to best enjoy this amazing place:
Come in on a Wednesday after 4:00.
1. Grab two stools at the bar and be greeted by Rae, who is incredibly friendly and smart.
2. Order a large hot sake and edamame to start.
3. Order seaweed salad, miso soup, Kung Pao Jumbo Shrimp, Dragon & Phoenix, and a cold 22 ounce Sapporo beer.
4. Enjoy.
5. Write a nice review.

The staff and the food are the best!

We came here for the final night of our beach trip and it was a wonderful way to finish our trip! Most of us got sushi rolls and every single one was phenomenal, one got the hunan beef and it was succulent. Our server, Deeann was very friendly and attentive, we chatted a bit and all of our customizations were right. We would totally regular here if we lived here!

Wow! My boyfriend took me there for lunch and it was great! The hot and sour soup came piping hot with big chunks of tofu. Delicious! The pan fried pork dumplings came with a coconut Sriracha sauce and they were outstanding! Service was great too. 👍

Black Knight Roll is my favorite. The Wonton soup for Two, is enough for 4. Perfect for the family starter. Will always recommend.

Our second visit, the first visit was stir-fry and it was fantastic. Tonight the three of us really enjoyed the "show" sitting at the Sushi bar at Calabash Sushi and watching the sushi chefs make food into art. The Volcano roll and Snow White roll were amazing! The Spidar roll was small, but flavourful! The chefs created a speciality roll to perfection. Our servers were excellent and the value was very good! We will return!!

Excellent menu and the good is always fresh and delicious. It's nice to have a nice restaurant to sit down and enjoy a break instead of just a take out place. We are vegetarian and they are always accommodating when we ask to swap meat in a dish for tofu.

We went Friday night at around 5:30. There was no wait and we were quickly seated. Our server was very attentive and responsive.

The food was great!

The kid in our group ordered a California Roll and Shrimp Teriyaki. Both were delicious. The shrimp were large and the veggies it came with were tasty.

The adults ordered a Beach Bum Roll (favorite), NC Roll, Volcano Roll, General Tso's Chicken, and Beef and Broccoli. I split the sushi and it was all delicious. Our favorite was the Beach Bum Roll because the mango was interesting and different. The beef and broccoli was really tender and flavorful.

We will definitely be back. The prices are reasonable, the service is great, the food quality and portions are amazing.

Enjoyed the food and service very much, we’ll definitely be back! Inside is more spacious than it appears from outside, 3 sections give space btw tables. We arrived at 6:15 on a Thursday and were promptly seated at a window (more folks continued to arrive even as we ate). Service was great, our waitress was quick and attentive. Sushi: Super Duper roll was very good, although the spicy white tuna roll was like the understudy that stole the show! My husband had Kung Puo Chicken and *almost* ate it all! The portions are not shy!! Great find.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful birthday meal here, we enjoyed sushi & hibachi options and the mai tais are addictive. Ashley is so awesome!! We will be back.

Food was awesome! The Blue crab rangoons were phenomenal! I got 3 orders if that says anything. They're even better the next day reheated in the air fryer

Fried rice, not really fried, dry.
Hibachi served on cold fajita tray/trivet.
Made no sense.
Server had way too much going on. Had to ask the host for help.
We will try again. Maybe just an off day.

Amazing food, service and pretty fair pricing. The food is the best Chinese food we’ve ever eaten. They make the sushi fresh and it’s awesome!!! The house soup 🍜 for two is the best I’ve had. It had wontons, carrots, shrimp, broccoli, celery and snap peas. That’s a meal in itself. I ordered the super CA rolls which was out of this world and my best half had the beef and shrimp. I ordered low mein and had to have them box 📦 it up for me because I was stuffed. I’d recommend them to everyone

I can't imagine that there's a better sushi place in the area. Worth the trip from as far as Myrtle Beach in my opinion. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's super cool inside, the sushi is great, the staff is terrific, and the pricing is about what you'd expect. We sat in the tip of the boat and had the sushi deluxe. We'll be back when we're back in town! Great find!
