TC Farm - Montrose Farm

Over the last year, I have been receiving meat, poultry, and veggies from TC Farm. The quality of food and commitment to ensuring healthy and free range animals was the reason I signed up. I love seeing posts on where our chicken and eggs are actually coming from - I absolutely recommend TC Farm. Great communication and customer service. Thank you!

We've gotten our meat (and eggs) from TC Farm for two years now, and we love it. They are so friendly and committed to humane and sustainable practices. We love all the products they have added since we first joined, including local lettuce, local breads (croissants are amazing!), other produce, and more. Highly recommend!

We've been with TC farm for a handful of years now. Our primary reason for going with TC was we really wanted to find a place that was ethical and transparent and they most certainly are. What we ended up getting was much more though, their customer service is incredible and as the company continues to grow they keep adding more great products and services. We recently jumped on their produce boxes and are now getting everything home delivered (meat and produce). I highly recommend TC farm if you are looking for an amazing local CSA.

What a great farm and great resource for delicious ethical meat. I am halfway through our first box of delicious meats and have really enjoyed everything we have tried so far. Ordering was easy and the pick up location couldn't be closer to my home. I highly recommend you try them out! I have another box coming in about a week and cannot wait for its delicious contents.

My husband and I found True Cost when we were looking for a compromise between being meat eaters and making ecologically, environmentally, and morally sound choices. We tried them out and were instantly hooked. Let me tell you - you will never taste a pork chop this good (and I didn't even like pork chops), the eggs are on a whole new level, and the chicken is beyond anything I've ever tasted from a supermarket. Everything they produce is the absolute highest quality, and you know (because you can go and personally look at the animals) that it's coming from a beautiful organic farm right here in rural Minnesota. Jack is an excellent salesperson and very on top of the technology of his business, making it easy to pay online and contact him if you need to change anything. They routinely offer samplers, and their selection of boxes is ever-growing. All around an amazing family-owned business.

I love TC farms. A good variety of quality meets and totally customizable to your budget and taste. Meat that has been humanly treated and cared for. Not only that it actually tastes like meat used to taste. They have excellent customer service too. You will fall in love with the smoked wings!!! I highly recommend TC Farms.

I joined with the idea of supporting local business and feeding my family a more healthy diet. I just received my first order and the quality and flavor is so much better than the organic options I used to buy. It was a pleasant surprise. This was a good decision.

I've been a subscriber of TC Farm's monthly meat CSA for years. Their products are amazing. I love the taste and the flexibility to choose whatever packages I want. My kids have started to say things like "I only want Jack's sausage" or "can we have Jack's lamb tonight?"

Last but not least, I appreciate the transparency TC Farm's process. In a world where most people do not know what they're eating (how it was raised, what it was fed, how was it processed). Jack's passion and openness is greatly needed. There is a lot of value in knowing that I'm feeding my kids the healthiest possible meats - especially since I don't have time to research all the producers myself.

It's wonderful to cook great tasting meat that is locally grown for my family! I love the steak and the thick cut bacon. They provide great recipes too.

Best thing we've done for our family. Love starting every morning with farm fresh eggs from local free range chickens. Excited for spring so we can break out the grill and start making the brats and burgers.

Went here on the Eat Local Farm Tour and was so impressed that we drove straight to Lakewinds Co-op afterwards to purchase their pork and we're contemplating doing a CSA with them. They served smoked pulled pork, brats and hot dogs, all free, and it was luscious. My husband, who thinks most pulled pork is stringy and dry, so they smother it with bbq sauce, took one bite and was sold. I have been hankering for a fat encrusted pork roast like my mother, Betty Jane, from Louisiana, used to make in the '60s, and I think I have found it! Thank you Jack (and Betsy, although we didn't meet you), for your vision and hard work. We are lucky to have you. BTW, your children, Lauren and Sean are adorable!

Their eggs are truly spectacular. Crack one open next to a "normal" organic egg and you'll notice the difference.
