Frying Pan

I have been vacationing in Oak Island since I was a kid and still continue to as an adult but have never ate here because they have been always so busy but were able to get a 30 min. wait which wasn't too bad and was very glad we did. Our sever was amazing and made sure to keep a good check on us. I ordered the coconut shrimp and it was amazing! My boyfriend got the crab legs and normally where most places do old bay they didn't but he said they didn't even need it. He said they were really good. They have a very good selection of mixed drinks; 2 of which I tried and they were very good as well. And I loved the view. I highly recommend and will definitely be back when we get a chance!

Showed up around 4:30. Was not very busy but did we get there right on time! It became crowded with people waiting for a table and for good reason. The food was great and served quickly. The mixed drink menu had a lot of options and mine was fantastic. We ordered coconut shrimp which were a good size and calamari to start. Delicious! Ordered large salads for dinner and was very satisfied with the portions. Will be back for great service and food!

Chris was my server. He is friendly and informative. The hostess was friendly upon arrival. The restaurant has a very welcoming vibe to it. The views are absolutely beautiful as you can tell in the photos. The complimentary hush puppies are amazing but I don't recommend because when you eat one, next thing you know you have ate the entire basket because they are so tasty and with the whipped butter! I got the fish Platter and it was a good amount of food with the filet being a large size. Absolutely would recommend this gem of a place to anyone!

Very nice restaurant and atmosphere. Gorgeous views from our window seat. Our waitress was phenomenal and kept those AYCE Crab Legs (Wednesdays) coming without request. The food was delicious. You won't leave unsatisfied. Highly recommend eating here.

Excellent service. Had Cobia and Unicorn fish. Both very good! Started with the corn and shrimp chowder. It was very thick but tasty!! Nice view of the water.

Very nice dining with a veiw. This cozy place sets on the inlet of the Atlantic Ocean in Southport, North Carolina. Our server was very polite and professional. Really clean establishment. We highly recommend stopping in for a relaxing meal with a veiw. Nice variety of beverages(non alcoholic as well). We will definitely be visiting again when in the area.

The fresh seafood and green beans are awesome! Love the service and atmosphere. A must everytime we come here.

This was our first taste of Southport during our first trip to the NC coast. We had a party of 6 including 2 elderly people & a 4 year old. The views are amazing and the building was accessible by elevator. Our waitress was so sweet & attentive. She took our 4-year olds order when she got our drinks. His chicken tenders came out with the drinks which was great for a hungry kiddo. We started with delicious hush puppies. Among us we had the lobster Mac, coconut shrimp, the galley combo, & popcorn shrimp. All of our food left us stuffed with extras left over. We would definitely return & enjoyed watch ships sail through the harbor. We had a beautiful evening and a wonderful first time in Southport!

The family and I had the opportunity to eat here. The food was great. The atmosphere was great. The alligator bites were awesome. The food was a bit pricey but you get quite a bit.

my husband and i have been here two year in a row. we skip the wait and eat all you can eat crab legs at the bar. Justin has given amazing service both times. shout out to Craig and the whole staff for a great experience!

Amazing food. We ate at the bar and the bartender was the best server we've had in quite some time. The best hush puppies ever. Pete's chicken sandwich was amazing. Husband said best he's ever had.

We really enjoyed our first visit. Our bartender, Justin, was slammed but still very attentive to us at the bar. Had the Galley dinner, and it was cooked to perfection! The Crab Cake was the best I've had so far in the area.

Food is on the pricer side but great food is worth the price. At least I know corners are in tact because none of them were cut!

Service was great once we were seated but I noticed other tables that arrived around the same time were looking around a bit.

Food was phenomenal!!! We started off with some seared blackened tuna and holy wow. Let me tell you. So good. We all got fried dishes cause we’re from the south.. duh. Delicious! You think fried popcorn shrimp is fried popcorn shrimp but this place blew my mind with the crunch and seasoning. Food was so good. Our server seemed new and wasent the friendliest but the rest of the staff was great. Wasent gonna let her ruin our night out. Highly recommend and would definitely go back. In a great location to sit and look at passing boats. See you next year.

Beautiful spot, wait staff was outstanding. Food was delicious, and I cannot fathom just how many hush puppies our table ate. My grilled salmon was perfectly cooked, and the crab cakes brought back happy childhood memories. Too full for dessert, maybe next time. ☺

Decided to try this place out and I’m so glad we did. It’s beautiful inside and we were greeted with hush puppies that were amazing. We all ordered something different and everything tasted great. We will 100% be back!

On another quick trip to Southport we found this gem. We did show without reservations and got the quick walk-in to the bar. Great service still and the food was on point. Also the view on the third level to the overlooking water was exceptional. Pricier than Provisions next door, but for the quick bar seat and good food especially the flounder and fan tail shrimp. I will take it all day.

One of our favorite restaurants in Southport! The views of the water are great, and the food and service is even better. We have come here for 2-3 years now, and each time has been great!

The meal was fantastic, even down to the little biscuit that came with the crab legs. Service was top notch. We'll definitely be back again. We went to the other restaurant down the street on our last trip but this one is our favorite of the two. And you can't beat the views at sunset! One more thing...didn't really don't g the alligator bites. It was the texture. Tastes like bland chicken.
