Old Village Hot Dog Shoppe

Stopped by for a quick meal, and ended up with one of the best hot dogs I've ever eaten! The #11 Chi-Donia Dog was incredible. The flavor and the sheer amount of toppings really made this thing hit home. Don't think they skimp on meat, because the 1/4lb hotdog was large and flavorful. Staff was friendly and the environment is clad in old-fashioned memorabilia, really completing the feel of the place. If you're passing through Caledonia and considering this place, you just have to try it.

The Hot Dog shop was great! High quality hot dog with all kinds of topping options, wonderful potato salad, and shaved ice for a treat. The shop has a great atmosphere inside and out. Indoor and outdoor seating. The ladies running the place were super nice. I will be back when driving by on the way to Shepherd Mountain Bike and Hiking Park in Arcadia Valley.

Such a fun little restaurant! I felt like I had been transported to the past. The hotdogs were great, and the service was greater. They were very gracious about letting my mom check for her allergens.

Best hot dogs ever! We had the Pizza dog. Delicious! These are not your ordinary dogs. Also tried the potato salad. Some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Cute shop with inside and patio dining. Friendly service. Highly recommend!

We finally managed to stop here before they closed after going Johnson shut ins. Been meaning to try one of their hot dogs for a while because we love loaded up hot dogs. They did not disappoint! Nice and big with a great beefy flavor and a wide range of tasty loaded up hot dog options. Mine tasted great. It's also nice that it's right next to the candy store, just a short walk over there for a nice ice cream dessert.

This place fits in well with the rest of the Caledonia strip. The hot dogs are 100% beef and the rest of the menu items are great quality as well. There is a wide selection of different toppings and many sides to choose from. All of the employees are kind and approachable If you're in Caledonia then I would highly recommend eating here.

The grilled cheese hot dog was delicious. I love the small local business and can't wait to go back. The menu offers a lot of variety.

First time visiting this restaurant. Found out they've only been open since April. We LOVED it! Many kinds of toppings and choices of hotdogs. I had the Reuben and it was delicious! Then go right next door for candy or ice cream. Makes for a fun day trip. We plan on returning soon. Very clean and ladies working were so nice. Fair prices as well. 5 STARS

We've gone twice for lunch,really good food,neat little place to relax and have some good food.

We were traveling from Springfield when we found this lovely little shop. Super clean, super cozy, super delicious. These people are so kind, they even offered to let out cat and our dog in with us out of the cold! Definitely will stop here on our next trip through the area.
