Lola's Bistro Key West

My photos just don't do the food here justice. This is hands down our most favorite place to eat in the world! We won't go to Key West without ensuring we have a reservation at Lola's. Everything is absolutely delicious and true artistry in taste and presentation. I wish I had taken pictures of the scallops and Bananas Foster too, but I was so excited to taste them that I forgot to snap photos. I guess I'll just have to come back again soon so that I can get more photos! Lola's is must add to your dining experience in Key West! Everything here tastes fabulous!

This was a unique experience in Key West. Menu is a surprise each night, but everyone can find something they will eat. Several meat and fish options for entrees. Food was incredible. For appetizers we had chorizo which was some of the best I’ve ever had along with scallops and lamb chops. All top notch. The duck, filet and fish were all done to perfection. It’s like dinner and a show watching the chef cook the meal. Truly mesmerizing. The staff was so kind and friendly and the chef asked how we enjoyed each dish. I would definitely come again to Lola’s in hopes of trying other dishes. Think the value for the quality of food, service, and ambience is right.

This was a truly top notch experience. The food was carefully prepared, the proteins were all perfectly tender, the sauces complimented the proteins very nicely, and the flavors had a lot of depth though not over complicated. The service was very friendly and down-to-earth and the atmosphere was warm and intimate. This made for a very nice night. Thank you!

Best place on the island hands down! There is absolutely no need for any criticism about food, seating, price, byob...we will go here every single time we are in Key West. Chef heard me say that my tiramisu was the best so he slipped me a slice of his and I instantly regretted my comment, his was definitely better! Thanks guys see you in November for the boat races!

Such a delightful experience! It's small and the atmosphere is quiet and romantic, something you don't expect in Key West. Must have call ahead for a reservation! Menu is a surprise each night but you'll have several choices to choose from. Larger portions and the Chef puts the dishes together beautifully and the flavors blend nicely. It's a treat!! BYOB- Bring your own Wine or drink of choice. We will definitely be back!!

My husband and I visited here whilst on vacation. We loved the atmosphere, the food and the staff! Probably one of the best meals I have personally ever had. It's such a different concept than your typical run of the meal restaurant and I thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there as well as the food. Yes, our meal was about $100 each. Yes we had to bring our own wine which we were told to do so when we made the reservations. If you're looking for a wonderful meal and a unique dining experience I highly recommend.

What incredible culinary experience. The chef personally prepared everything from a small viewing kitchen and elegantly served it from the appetizers to desert. Large portion sizes, everything uniquely prepared, warm atmosphere and byob! Our friends thought the food was the best on the island and we can see why! It’s a dining experience you won’t want to miss!!!

My wife and I have been guests there since they have opened. We have brought over a hundred guests there over the years. Their food is amazing! The staff is fantastic! We have our own wine collection and appreciate being able to bring our own wine. If you are looking for a conventional restaurant with bake potatoes, coffee and splitting your meal this not the place to go. It's Key West, go with the flow. Love Lola's!

Eating all over the world. This place is one of the best meals we've had in such a long time. It's literally fresh-picked fresh cart right to the table chefs 10 feet away from you, cooking meal. The experience was fabulous great. Find. Stay away so I don't have to wait next time, I go.

If you are planning a trip to Key West, you must make Lola’s a dining highlight not to be missed. You are given a selection of appetizers, entrees and optional desserts to choose between. The chef is a master at creating the most incredibly tasting and presented dishes. The portions are plentiful. The ambience is intimate. The service and hostesses are warm and welcoming. A couple of important key points: #1 - book at least a month in advance or you may not get a reservation #2 - come hungry and ready to be delighted #3 - out of respect, make sure you cancel if you can’t make it, a table was empty beside us which could have easily been filled #4 - byob #5 - cash or Venmo
My husband and I were so enthralled with our meal that we didn’t think to take photos, but just this one I took, which is my appetizer - a full size lobster tail, and oh was it incredible!
Overall, out of all the restaurants we have eaten at, we have to say that Lola’s is the Best in Key West and very reasonably priced for the meal and experience. Five stars!

Absolutely amazing experience. Felt like I was transported to a different place and time. The food the best I’ve had in key west, the service impeccable, and watching the chef cook everything right in front of us made it feel like we were the guests of honor. Such a cool experience with there being a different menu each night and it all being communicated orally. Looking forward to my next time there.

DO NOT MISS THIS!!! Call ahead to book, they do sittings at specific times, you can’t just walk in. Menu is different every night. Chef is a SAUCE MASTER and everything we ate was marvelous and cooked to perfection. Seriously one of the most unforgettable food memories I’ll ever experience. Thank you to the Chef and the amazing staff.

My sister, who is a local, insisted we had to eat at her favorite restaurant. So, when we were down visiting we had to go to Lola's. This place did not disappoint!! It was by far one of the absolute best meals I have ever eaten!! It was also a neat experience watching Chef prepare all of the food. Everything we ate was cooked to perfection and you just savored each bite. The atmosphere was perfect, a quaint little building that had such a warm and homey feel to it. The service was stellar as well! Everyone there was so nice and welcoming. I can say with 100% certainty that the next time I visit...we will be dining here again!

I love finding "hidden treasures" when vacationing and with Lola's Bistro, I hit the jackpot! Best meal I have ever had coupled with a very unique dining experience! No paper menus (the server reads you the selections of the day) as the entrees/choices change daily, it's BYOB, and cozy atmosphere. Our meal was outstanding...the fish (branzino n pompano) cooked to perfection! The desserts were divine! The ambiance was perfect, candles lit throughout, with the chef literally preparing meals right in front of you! The staff was amazing and friendly!!! Worth every penny and I will be going back on my next trip to Key West!!

Incredible culinary experience. Fresh, Hot, Delicious! Chef Richard and staff brought us an astounding food experience two times this week.
From Lobster to Duck, Salmon to Pork Belly, Pompano to Branzino. The paired sauces are simply brilliant. The food is spot on, not to rich, yet packed with flavor.
Be sure to order any of the deserts!

A must try Key West staple! This was such a fun and unique dining experience! You will not find better food anywhere on the Island. Chef Richard picks up fresh options every day and changes the menu accordingly. It’s an intimate and personal setting. I recommend calling ahead to get up to date menu options and to make a reservation. Reservations are offered at 6 pm and 8:15 pm. If you are looking for a giant restaurant with a huge menu and full bar, Lola’s is not the place. The menu changes daily based on what is freshest available! Waiter service was great! You even get to watch Chef Richard prepare the special meal! The menu is small but incredible! It’s just what you are in the mood for! 10/10! Must try Lola’s!

Lola’s is remarkable in every way! The food prepared by chef Richard is some of the freshest and most delicious we have ever had. Artichokes, scallops, shrimp, duck, and Hog fish were all worth 5 stars. The cooked banana and flourless chocolate torte were luscious and the ultimate way to end our meal. The ambience is quaint and romantic and the staff is attentive and professional.
Dining here was the highlight of our trip and we will return each time we visit Key West. Thank you to everyone at Lola’s!

a 10/10 experience. the table right next to the kitchen is the perfect chefs table to watch the chef work his magic. the focus of the chef while making multiple different dishes at the same time was incredible to watch. the branzino was the best fish I’ve had in my entire life. also fantastic service and dim romantic ambience✨would recommend this spot to anyone visiting keg west & I will definitely come back next time 😍
