Macks BBQ & Smokin Donuts

We had Macks BBQ catered in for our Christmas party. This BBQ was a hit! The food was so good and had more than enough for everyone to have seconds! Thank you so much for setting up everything and making such delicious BBQ! We can not wait to plan another party with y'all!

Amazingness. The food was incredible. We had the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches. The smoked mac and cheese was also to die for. Plus, the owners were really sweet. We're sad we dont live closer.

This place is awesome. I'm 350lbs so you know I love to eat. The ribs are fall off the bone tender. Brisket super moist. You have to try the Baked potato, this thing is Huge!!!

Delicious!! Dont let the fact it's in the back of a gas station throw you off. Everything was so juicy and flavorful. Great portion sizes, diverse menu. The owners are extremely kind and you can tell they love what they do.

I wanted to share our recent experience at Mack's BBQ inside Fate Main Grocery in Fate, Texas. I'm Lincoln's mother's boyfriend, and I joined Lincoln for a little adventure today.

We had plans for a fishing trip at the HOA main pond and initially went to the grocery store to pick up some hot dogs. To our surprise, they were fresh out of hot dogs. That's when Mack's BBQ came to the rescue.

Inside the grocery store, they handed us some high-quality sausages that turned out to be a hit with the fish in the pond. The fish practically leaped out of the water for these sausages!

What really warmed our hearts was that Mack's BBQ didn't charge us a dime for those sausages. It was a simple act of kindness, and in a world that could use more of it, it truly made our day.

If you ever find yourself in Fate, Texas, do pay a visit to Mack's BBQ inside Fate Main Grocery. They not only serve great food but also exemplify the kind of hospitality that makes a place special.

AMAZING! Pure eating enjoyment! The bbq brisket burrito is out of this World! The tacos were awesome, the turkey legs were awesome, and the fried okra was amazing! Took the family and we all were super full with leftovers! Owner was there and welcomed us to the neighborhood. We will definitely be back. Fantastic food with friendly staff!

We got the Big Boy Sampler with Fried Zucchini and Fried Okra. We didn't get to try the ribs because they were out, so we substituted Chopped Brisket for the ribs. The sides were great and the meat was excellent. The sauce was very good and they gave us just enough for our family (two medium containers filled 2/3 of the way).

We will be back and recommend it.

We have also tried their donuts (now that they changed from Mack's BBQ to The Smokin' Donut). The apple fritters are very good (and huge). The other donuts were good.

Machs BBQ did the catering for my wedding and they did a phenomenal job. Not only do they serve the best BBQ hands down the were completely professional. They came in and beautifully decorated all the catering tables and even took time to add beautiful touches to our drink table so they would all match. They came and set up and cleaned everything up. I didn't even have to lift a finger. They definitely provide enough food. I had over 100 guests at my wedding and all bellies were full and plenty of food left over. Hands down this is the choice for BBQ no matter how big or small your party is.

The brisket is delicious and the sauce is homemade! They also make the best breakfast tacos and burritos around. If you are looking for good barbeque without the long wait, go to Macks. It is located inside the downtown Fate Shell gas station. I do believe they serve appetizers and desserts there as well. You won't regret it.

This place is absolutely awesome. I have been searching for a BBQ joint as good as Shirey's BBQ back in the day. The brisket was tender, lean and full of flavor, the turkey was juicy and tasty, the fried pickles (spear) were the bomb, and the qifw gives the Mac and cheese a 4/5. I'm hard to impress with BBQ, but I will definitely be back to Mack's!

If you're reading this review, trying to decide whether or not to try this small-town BBQ spot, trust me when I say, go right now!

Mack's is without a doubt some of the best BBQ in all of Texas. Offering a wide variety of delicious and original dishes and in portions that Andre the Giant would need a take-home box for.

The staff was incredibly friendly, apologizing only for accidently giving me 'too much' to fit into a single container, "Oh, dear, what a problem to have!"

This place is a 5/5 for me, I highly recommend it and you will not regret giving it a try.

Don't be averse to this BBQ joint being in a gas station. Its family run and it's fantastic. They're friendly, fast, they're food is great, and their prices can't be beat. Great place to get away from the bbq chains and have real, home grilled/smoked food.

Service is great, I haven't interacted with one employee that wasn't incredibly helpful, and the food is top notch. Great BBQ, and I actually love the fact it's located inside the convenient store; if you are getting it to-go, you can pick up a few things while waiting!

Great experience at Mack's BBQ! They were about to close and they were kind enough to let me order. Let me tell you something- They have the best BBQ that I've ever had! I will be back. If you haven't had MACKS's BBQ, you are missing out!

The bbq is awesome! We had the ribs and a turkey leg , which is huge. All of it was incredible. The staff was super nice and easy to talk to. This is my new favorite bbq place.

Macks catered my daughter's graduation party. The chopped beef, sausage, spicy beans and sweet slaw were amazing!!! Prices were great and they delivered and set up, taking the burden off of us. Oh! and that sauce! Yummy!!!!!

We were looking for great bbq and found it here! The food was delicious, very friendly people, great service, and large portions of tender brisket and ribs. Real people selling real bbq. Will definitely come back for more!

2nd time there the best barbecue ...awesome huge portions ...the beef brisket and pulled pork amazing flavor bbq sauce and potato salad is a 10+ ....French Fries yummy and the apple fritters the best I ever had..

Definitely worth the stop. Great friendly service and amazing BBQ! Sides are delicious too - particularly the beans! Do yourself a favor and give it a try.
