Adam's Auto Repair Shop & 24hr towing

On our way to see the Mennonites in Section Alabama, we stopped at a couple of antique stores, then the plan was to head down to Unclaimed Baggage. When we got out at "Earls", I smelled the smell of coolant. I looked down at the front of our van, and there it was. A pool of coolant. Great. It's SATURDAY, we are way up in the middle of nowhere on Sand Mountain, we have Britney and Cookie, and we don't have time for this. Earl, from Earl's World of Antique Discoveries came out and offered some water from a 1950s water pitcher with a tag still on it. It qas 97 degrees outside. We called a place or two and of course they all were closed, but then called a place with just a couple of reviews called "Adam's Auto Repair" in Rainsville. He answered! I told him our situation and he said "Bring in on". The entire episode had just happened, and thankfully the motor temp had not gone up at all. Thanks to Earl, we topped off the water and drove 12 minutes down to Adam's. He took a look, and the 1 year old radiator had given up and was leaking. Great. He called and there was a new one down at the parts store in Fort Payne, so his wife took off and picked it up for us. He went to work and quickly got it all replaced and we went to Wendy's for the first time in a decade, as we had not had lunch and it was 2pm. We REALLY wanted 50 Taters. He found that the last shop (That happened to be down in Scottsboro) had done a terrible job on the previous install and had poorly mounted the sensor for the cooling fans, which likely led to the radiators failure. He worked until it was finished when there isn't another shop in a 60 mile radius that was still working. He was meticulous in getting everything back together, and we were able to sprint back down the mountain to Unclaimed Baggage, as we need to get things for the people down in Peru for our trip here in just a few weeks. I am thankful for people who go the extra mile and care just a little more than the average person these days. It's rare to find people with knowledge, ability, AND who care about others. He said that he had planned to go to Scottsboro himself today, but I am glad that he was willing to help us instead.

Adam was very kind and knowledgeable over the phone and made me feel like he was someone I could trust from the moment we first spoke. His work was thorough and he completely fixed the problem that we have been having with my wife’s vehicle. We are very pleased and we will be using Adam again for any mechanical needs that we may have

I believe the name of this business should be Adam's A plus Auto repair because Adam truly went above what was expected and provided me an A plus five-star experience, when he replaced the spider gears in the rear differential of my truck. Adam came to my house in North Georgia to pick up my truck, he also kept me informed throughout the whole process. He also delivered my truck back to me once it was finished. I was truly impressed by the quick turnaround time and professionalism displayed by Adam. If asked would I use Adam again I would say absolutely because Adam has became my go-to for all of my future Auto repair needs.
