Krumkill Stables

We had an amazing hour here at Krumkill Stables - Jean and Gary were super nice and informative, and Ginger the farm cat was a great co-host as well! We saw deers on the trail. I enjoyed my ride with horse Cody, he’s such a good boy. We will definitely revisit when the weather gets better!!! Highly recommend to those in the Albany area.

We went on the 1 hour trail ride, the trails are beautiful and the horses were very well behaved. The people at the barn are very nice too! Would highly recommend.

I love coming here every week if I'm able to but I've been coming here for a few years now and it's probably the most relaxing part of my week. I love seeing the horses and the owner jean teaches me so much about them and nature itself ! I just love it here. She's A great teacher to me.

Really sweet spot for a trail ride. The owner is passionate and the property is just beautiful. We went for an hour trail ride but they give lessons here as well!

Jean was great and my daughter loved our trail ride. The property was beautiful and like a maze -- perfect for riding. Even being so close to Albany and rt 87, it was very peaceful and quiet.

My boyfriend and I had such a great time! Jean was so sweet & informative and was a great trail/tour guide. It was such a great experience to ride these beautiful horses :)

Brought granddaughters (6 & 9) for first time experience with horses. The staff was lovely, the horses were gentle. It was something we will always remember.

This is an amazing place!! Beautiful, sweet, calm horses and a gorgeous 60-acre property with woods, creeks, hills, and meadows. Open for trail rides and lessons! The owner is wonderful and eager to share her beautiful horses and trails with riders of all levels.

I am so glad that a place like Krumkill stables exists just a few minutes from downtown Albany!!

The owner was so accommodating to find us a spot for a pony ride. Ernie the pony was as cute as it could be. Best service and recommended to all families with young or older kids.

Jean and C/Kristina were friendly and provided an amazing experience. We were able to interact, brush and feed the horses as well as enjoy a beautiful scenic ride. Great price and already planning to go again!

We are a couple who wanted a nice introductory horseback ride. Jean gave us a wonderful experience from start to end. Scheduling was quick and easy through calling Jean. It was clear when we arrived (early) and spoke to some others who were waiting for their children to return from a ride that this is a valued place where people like to return again and again. Soon, we could see why. Jean greeted us in a very friendly manner and got us great horses, helping us get into the saddles. The ride was of perfect length and involved the horses going at a very comfortable pace, with just a bit of quicker movement sprinkled in as they moved to very slightly higher elevations on the pathway. We enjoyed both the overall pace and those moments of quicker movement. Also, the property is quite large and nice, and you get that great vacation feeling of disappearing from society for a while.

We want to note and appreciate the multiple times throughout the ride that Jean asked us, using our names, "How are you doing?" or remarked on how well things were going - for example, "You're doing great!" She made sure we were doing well and enjoying throughout.

I had a wonderful experience taking a trail ride at Krumkill Stables. I was actually very scared of horses based on prior experiences but Jean and Gary made me so comfortable, that now I want to take lessons. My horse, Ransom, was a gentle giant. The hike was beautiful and it is obvious that Jean and Gary and the rest of the staff care very much and take great care of their horses. All of the horses were gentle and friendly. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun outdoor activity.

My family and I were able to have the best experience with Jean, her helpers and her wonderful horses. My daughters birthday will never be forgotten.Everyone was so friendly and patient. It was a wonderful experience!

Krumkill Stables is a wonderful place. We loved our experience. The horses are so sweet and the owner is fabulous. They make you feel safe and guide you through your time there. Absolutely love it here and will be back! Best birthday gift ever for my daughter!

Awesome experience! Horses are very well trained and calm and the guides are very friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful property to look at on trail rides. There are even some very friendly cats to pet to!

My wife and I took our daughter here for her bday today, and it was a great experience. The woman, Jean, was very nice and knowledgeable about horses. She was very kind, and patient with out daughter. She took time out to show our daughter the ropes, as well as take time out her busy day to make it a beautiful birthday for our daughter. She had several yiybg girl there as well helping out. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I hope hat your experience will be as grand as mine, my wife's, and my daughter's was. We all had a great time. Great atmosphere, and Jean with fantastic. We plan on going back very soon. Best time EVER

I had such a wonderful experience riding Cody . Jean is amazing and knowledgeable. The trail ride was relaxing and fun. I highly recommend this place if you want to ride horses.
