Island Dogs Bar

We came here for drinks and appetizers in the early evening around 6 pm on a Saturday. Definitely try their Key Line Pie Martini. Very good. Their Rum Runner is very good too. We were here for 2 hours and sat outside to enjoy the nice weather. We snacked on the Conch Fritters, the Philly Egg Rolls, and the Buffalo (Key West Pink) Shrimp with the buffalo sauce on the side. All three were excellent.
Service was great and we listened to a young lady playing the guitar and singing from inside this place. She was very entertaining and had an amazing voice. We’ll definitely be back to try other menu items and enjoy the atmosphere that we experienced.

So this is where we went and finally got our first conch fritters in Key West. They weren’t serving lunch yet but the bartender, maybe the owner, said no problem and fried some up for is while we had a few drinks. Loved the decor of the place. A very cool bar and grill. I highly recommend.

The staff and service was amazing! Lauren was on top of it all- she was attentive, super friendly & engaged w/ us because we asked for a lot of exceptions and she delivered. Other staff and even the owner swing by frequently to make sure everything is great. We will be back! It's got an amazing atmosphere!

The food here was so good that my kids asked to go back. We went back and stopped our very last day there. Staff was exceptional, waitress was super helpful and great with kids. I had French toast and would highly recommend, it tastes great with fruit and was a generous helping. My girls got waffles and were stuffed. The breakfast burrito is a must try. The sauce on it was top notch.

We love coming to Key West every year! And we love most of the bartenders we meet! I would never spend my time making this review unless it was more than well deserved! Dougie/Doug/Douglas 😁 should be doing Master Classes for bartenders. He has met a million people like us and never once acted as though he was put out and wanted to be somewhere else! Thank you Dougie! You are the best of the best! ❤🥳😎

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Newer owner, Steven is a delight! Very knowledgeable in all things alcohol related. But the REAL star of the show is the key west pizza! Now, I’m totally against pineapple on pizza but on the pizza it works beautifully! Shrimp and lobster with a white sauce as a base were a taste explosion! Whatever you do, include this in your next trip to Key West!

What a great place! I had the fish and chips which was excellent and very fresh. The atmosphere was cozy and it was a nice break from a day of shopping and snorkeling! Sam was our waiter and he took care of us very well! Very friendly! I will be back the next time I come to key west!

We stopped at Island Dogs Bar during a cruise last week. I ordered a key lime colada, conch fritters, and key lime pie, all of which were incredible! Debbie, our server, was great too - personable and fun!

We did have to wait a few minutes to get seated, and we were the only one's in line, but it's a small joint with a small staff. If you are a bit impatient or in a hurry (or just a jerk), this place probably isn't for you. For the rest of us, this place is fantastic, and I can't wait to come back!!

This place was awesome. I can bring my dog into the bar with me. The waitress sat him right in front of the fan. Even brought him ice cold water. Had some frozen cocktails and the Philly egg rolls. Yummm. A great place to hang, people watch and drink.

The hostess greeted our party of 6 with a smile and we were sat immediately . The waiter was friendly and energetic. The owner stopped by to say hello and came back once again to refill drinks. The food was fresh, hot and GOODT w/ a (T). There was live music…modern hits. The musician had the patrons on their feet. Island Dogs did not disappoint!

Great food great atmosphere. Took all of the recommendations from our Server Sam and he was spot on with every dish and every drink. Lobster, pepperoni and pineapple pizza was amazing. conch fritters and chowder were amazing also.

This is a nice bar to stop at for a delicious drink. The drinks are refreshing and not overwhelmed with alcohol. It tends to be hot and humid in Key West. It is a good atmosphere. I recommend their Orange Crush, Pina Colada, or a Citron Bloody Mary. Also, their conch fritters are super tasty!

The food was excellent. My service was amazing. my server Layla was absolutely a godsend. I took my son in and he was very moody that day and she was able to calm him down. Take his order and bring his food out to him. The atmosphere was very upbeat. Will definitely recommend it to my friends.

I forgot to take any pictures of the food, but this place has the best pizza. if you eat hear I highly recommend the pizza, I would’ve never thought they would have good pizza. But it was awesome.. we did eat the smash hamburgers, which was good, but the other person with us ordered the pizza and it was amazing

This is a Bar AND A liquor store. It's awesome. Sam is fun and attentive, will definitely be visiting again when I'm in town again

Had the chicken pot stickers and the build your own hot dog! Washed it down with a watermelon limeade and everything was delicious! Service was phenomenal and the performer was very entertaining!

This place has it all. Ambiance, food, service, music… Truly a MUST VISIT in Key West. Ask for Ryan!

We go for the charbroiled oysters and the fact that they allow dogs inside. Great food, friendly staff and best Bloody Mary! Anything with pickles is a win win for me!! Great to sit outside and people watch while enjoying the music and cocktails. I always grab a t shirt when I’m here because they are so soft! Must experience this great spot when traveling to Key West!

Great experience! Food and drinks were delicious and the music was Awesome with Dave Minninberg singing and on the guitar. Had a great time! Our dogs loved it as well!
