LaFogata Bar & Grill

Our waiter had great customer service skills. He kept us in drinks, checked on us often and very polite. I didn't get his name but we sat on the upper porch. The food was so flavorful. Live band was a plus...will go again.

We had tortilla soup, chicken with cheese, and a taco salad. We all thought our food was excellent. Soup had lots of chicken in it.
Highly recommend this family run busy.

Hidden in Texarkana, this place has a great venue. We had lunch .Perfect outdoor space. Lively decor. Food was very good. Very unique choices (quail on the menu! ). Service was excellent ( we had 4 children with us!l ) So glad we found this place. It seems like it would be so much fun to go for dinner. !!!

I almost passed this place up and when I noticed the sign, I thought it looked sketchy. I reluctantly pulled in to see if it looked better up close and it sure did.
There's an outdoor area and an indoor area to eat and we chose to go inside. My son asks for horchata every restaurant we go to and he normally gets told no. Once again he was told that there was none and he ordered water instead. Several minutes later, another server, who heard my son ask and his subsequent disappointment, brought my son a glass of horchata. That for me is why they get 5 stars. Don't get me wrong, all the staff was friendly but this gentleman went above and beyond for my child. The food was also delicious. If I'm ever in the area, I'll be back.

We were driving through Texarkana from NY to Houston and were craving Mexican food. So we went to the first one we could find in Texas. This may be the best in Texarkana. But it is just average for TexMex. Nice patio atmosphere. The cheese enchilada and rice and beans were pretty good. The queso is white queso. The salsa was really good. And they give you individual cups for your salsa - which was nice. Wait staff was excellent. If we lived here we would come back.

I asked someone at our hotel where the best Mexican/Tex-Mex was in Texarkana. LaFogata was the favorite of several locals. The food was outstanding. The live band, 'MoBetta' was awesome and our server (Yamile) was excellent! If you're in Texarkana, this place is worth visiting.

This was my first time from a recommendation from a family member. We went there after 3pm, the food was hands down the best I've experienced at a Mexican restaurant. The food was fresh and hot, the drinks were outstanding!! The waitress was very attentive to our needs and well.

I will be sure to make a visit when I come back.

Incredible service and amazing food. We tried several margaritas and they were all exceptional. They have live music Thursday through Saturday and the design of the restaurant is also memorable.

We visit to watch the Elvis impersonation of Richard Cook every few months. Food is great!

Great fun u can listen to the band inside or out. Your choice unless big party. Eat some good food and get some good drinks. Family friendly too.

Excellent food and service. Had several margaritas and a couple of different plates. Everything was wonderful. Give the Jalapeño Margaritas a try. You will fall in love!

Very good Mexican food and a great casual atmosphere. Secluded off the beaten path. Wait Staff was very good, and the drink glasses were properly attended for our group.

The tacos were just right. The chicken enchilada was really good. The rice and the beans were what good Mexican restaurants serve.

LaFogata used fresh ingredients. The Nacho Supreme was outstanding. It had great toppings over on the side of the dish, and the nachos had a great seasoned steak that was cut into 8 pieces to fit across the nacho plate.

Our group had fun. I recommend this restaurant.

Love the food and atmosphere. Staff is friendly and remember you. Weekend’s they have live music. Get there early for a great seat! Monday’s and Tuesday’s they have buy one get one enchilada dinners. Also have awesome margaritas!! Order the pineapple fajitas, you won’t be disappointed, I assure you!!
