Food was delicious. Made our fussy adjustments with no problem. Dinners included rice and beans.
Chips and salsa served before meal.
Friendly service. Good prices.

Ate here in 2020 and loved it. Delicious food and great service. So made dode trip tonight on way home to Wisconsin. Absolutely worth the short detour off hwy 18.

The best salsa and guacamole I've had since living near Mexican border in the late 1980s.

Fajitas were sizzling hot and perfectly seasoned...served with best corn tortillas EVER !

I would have never expected a wonderful Mexican restaurant in this small river town. We stopped for lunch and the pork fajitas were delish! My wife had some tacos with what she said was the best guacamole she has ever had. Our fantastic waitress said it was fresh made with every order. even the salsa with the chips was very special.

Loved the food!! Amazing outdoor seating. Fast service. We ordered the fish tacos and the 3 taco meal. Nothing to complain about. The tacos were amazing. The rice was perfect. And I can honestly say the refried beans were so good I inhaled them. And I never eat the beans. If you have not been here it’s a must. If you had a bad experience you need to try again

Absolutely loved it. Went later at night, so it was less crowded. Food was fabulous. Could taste the authentic flavors. Had the Chicken and Spinach enchiladas. Several flavors of margaritas also. Worth the drive over to try.

Good food but, most of all, really sweet and wonderful service.

We had 4 adults and 6 kids (separate tables) and service was still quick and good. Staff was very nice. Food was fantastic!! We knew right away the paper/plastic dishes were due to covid - didn't phase us a bit. I would have eaten that salsa out of a ziploc bag if that's how it was served.

Excellent food and service. Chips and salsa were served before the meal. The chips were warm and crispy, and the salsa was fresh. I ordered Mexican style chicken tacos which were very authentic. Good portions for the price.

The beef and chicken chimichanga was the best! My go to when I visit are the steak fajitas which are fantastic! Will definitely be trying the chimichanga fajita very soon. Service here has ALWAYS been good so I'm not quite sure about some of the reviews.

After being promptly greeted and seated, our server, Corbin, shared the history of the building, owner and long time chef. We learned the owner hailed from Peru, which a few dishes showcased the tastes of that region. The chef, who is from Ecuador, lended his talents to bring a unique flare and flavor to his craft.
Corbin was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and decorated simply, not to overwhelm the historical features of the building.
All diners were enjoying their dishes and the atmosphere. Other reviews mentioned the fact that food was served in paper plates... one must remember the current restrictions businesses must follow this year (2020).
Highly recommend patronizing this small business to all!

My friends and I stopped in town to grab something to eat, as we had been enjoying a day filled with motorcycle riding and phenomenal scenery. We where greeted instantly in walking through the doors and seated. Superb service, I must say, my last memory of Mexican food like this, was in Cozumel. I enjoy mexican food 2 times a week or more, trying different places that claim authenticity, thank you staff and cooks, rest assured i will make that 2 1/2 drive once a month!!! Highly recommend the mango Margarita!!!

The salsa was so fresh you can taste each flavor. The enchiladas were crispy and fresh. The Mexican beef was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. The food was plentiful, taste was exquisite, and the service was amazing.

The four of us went on a birthday adventure and had the best food and great service today. Food was yummy. Ray the waiter was a hoot. We recommend it . The chip and salsa were homemade and a great way to start the meal.

Wife had the fish tacos with a lime margaritas and I had the Peruvian dish Lomo Saltado which was delicious. Great food and large portions. Salsa was very impressive. Would highly recommend.

I cannot wait until I go back! Great food and the owner was our server and he was phenomenal! Refilled our drinks without asking, and got us fresh chips right away! Couldn’t have asked for better service!

The salsa was excellent. The steak was also really good. My husband is vegan and was able to order a good size veggie burrito. We were really pleased with the stop.

Immediate seating at lunch. Kind waitress, so kind she ran 30 feet out the door to get something to another set of customers! Food hot and fresh, decent salsa, some seating for large groups. We'll be back.

Our server of everything.. was awesome!!!🌎 she was fun...extremely accommodating...interesting...a beautiful redhead...and made our experience worth coming back for! The young man that assisted her from the kitchen was also very pleasant!! Our food and drinks were top notch in little river city USA! Cudos!! We came over from the Prarie Rondevous and were treated with grace and respect!! Seriously the redhead was worth the visit!! You have a gem there!

My fiancé and I stopped here on a honeymoon to Mc Gregor Iowa. We stopped in at Latinos, mainly because the awning out front said “cheeseburger” and “steak”, which seemed like out of place menu items for a restaraunt called Latinos, but I thought maybe the menu offered both. Fun fact: they don’t have a cheeseburger on the menu. The wait staff was very nice, and the food was ok. The burrito looked like it had microwaveable veggies in it, including green beans. The credit card machine was broken so we had to walk to the atm down the road to get cash. Overall, it was a nice lunch,

Great mexican homemade food. Very nice staff. Excellent service. We've been there 4 times in 3 months and had no issues. I can't understand the bad reviews.
