Los Sombreros Grill Restaurant

My husband and I can never agree on where to eat. Last night I won and said let get mexican food. When we opened the menu we realized it wasn't all mexican food. My husband ordered an American breakfast platter and I enjoyed a Mexican style steak. It was delicious and the service was great. We'll definitely be back.

Was in downtown Baraboo to shop at Vintage store and noticed this cute little Mexican restaurant and we decided to try it out. I'm glad we did! We weren't too hungry so we just ordered 3 tacos (chicken and steak). They were delicious and the ingredients were very fresh. Although we took our order to go, we waited inside for it and it had a nice atmosphere.

Absolutely AMAZING FOOOOOD... WOW ABSOLUTELY WOW. The ambiance is so friendly n beautiful... the staff is kind. It's super quiet in here and I am for sure coming back into here.... this matches Joses on food level in my personal opinion for what I've had . Had the carnitas and it's got the perfect amount of seasoning....also a burger n fries n yu... man I tell u what... Hispanic restaurants have got to be my absolute fav Ever... I feel so blessed...

Did not know that this newer little restaurant in beautiful downtown Baraboo had breakfasts. Here’s a picture of their sign inside and their specialty dessert that we had last visit. Excellent breakfasts! Large portions. My meal was my breakfast and then left overs for lunch! 🙂

Definitely a hidden gem in beautiful downtown Baraboo. Their food was fresh, delicious and delicious to say the least. It’s a must try…

We had their French Toast, topped with strawberries and blueberries, very generous portion… My wife had their Guevos Rancheros, she loved it… I also had their Menudo, so delicious and authentic, difficult to find even in Madison or Milwaukee, it’s with no doubt the place for Menudo!

Now that my wedding events have concluded, I am getting around to leaving reviews on all the vendors or places we worked with throughout this experience.

Let me start off by saying that Los Sombreros was simply AMAZING! From the start, they had great communication about what we were looking for and making sure all our dietary needs were met. They even dropped the food off at our wedding in their food truck!

If you need to feed a hungry crowd at your event - seriously look no further!! In good 'ole christian humor, we could have feed the 5,000 with everything they gave us. My husband and I, along with our families, will be enjoying this delicious food for many days to come. We didn't have traditional party favors at our wedding, but guests were able to take home this amazing food instead!

Every single person RAVED about the food and how amazing it was. I can't say enough thanks to the crew at Los Sombreros for catering our event. This hole in the wall restaurant gets a 1000/10 from us :)

Amazing authentic Mexican amazing tastings food with great portion size and great service. This is my new go to Mexican restaurant in baraboo. I highly recommend giving this establishment a try!!!

I've been coming to Los sombreros for forever! The owners are very nice people, and the staff is super friendly. The food there is delicious, I highly recommend the teriyaki chicken and the beef burrito. They also have a fantastic country fried steak as well. If you're looking for a spot to stop by for a cup of coffee, or if you're looking for a good meal, don't pass up los sombreros.

Stopped in for late breakfast with our family (party of 11) after another nearby restaurant said there was a 45-60 minute wait for a table. The waiter was friendly, the food came out fast, everyone's order was correct, and it was tasty. Definitely recommend Los Sombreros!

What a pleasant surprise! I had the Nachos and they were delicious! The chips were nice and airy and there was plenty of toppings. My dinner mate had the Shrimp Diablo and they made it extra spicy upon request. We left full and happy. We will definitely be back!

Amazing food, and I mean it whole heartedly. This place is my new go to for not just authentic Hispanic food, but for food that is consistently so so good. Things are cooked perfectly and the pork fat is always braised to perfection, which I feel is not always the easiest thing to do. And they staff is always so kind and always goes out of there way to greet me which is an amazing feeling. These people deserve so much more recognition for bringing such amazing food to our little town

Came in today with my girlfriend and younger sister and all 3 of our meals were amazing! Good variety on the menu, fast friendly service, and very fairly priced! Would (and will) come back again!

Just ate breakfast at this little diner in Baraboo. The server was polite, the food was good and the portions were HUGE. Our bill was $30 and there was easily enough food for three people after we both ordered. I will be going here again.

Really good food. My dad and I came here as a last minute decision, and the place looks really nice. Really inviting and the workers a really nice. The Shrimp a la Diabla and they were quite spicy but with a nice flavor to them. The beans and rice were really good as well
My dad got the shrimp Taranaki dish. He said it was a nice sweet sauce and the shrimp came with mushrooms. He quite liked it. He does not have much of a sweet tooth but with this sauce he said he really enjoyed
The time that we came at should have been during the lunch rush but it was kinda empty. I hope more people come and try the food because it is really good.

The food was excellent. Steak tacos were crammed with meat, rice and beans were the best I've had in a long time and my grandkids ordered the flan , delicious. Definitely going back.
