Lotus Creamery

I got there a bit after 2p since that was the hours that were posted on the door when I went by earlier. The owner was just arrived and said that they actually were opening at 4p. Still he offered to help me which was great! He offered samples. I tried only 2. I did order a couple of other flavors not because the ones I tried were not good but I already had something in mind.

I got a scoop of Lubic Strawberry and a mocha… sorry I can’t remember the name. Both are excellent. Each have a balance of flavors. I did not find the texture icy like another reviewer. It was smooth and clean. Of the two, the strawberry was the winner!
The shop itself was nice but small. Not much seating to eat there. Location is nice because on the main street of downtown. I wish there was an outdoor seating area especially on a beautiful day like it was today.
This was my first time and definitely not my last! I used to live in Hudson but moved away before this place existed. Thank you for opening your shop and making great ice cream!

Great homemade ice cream! Between everyone in our group, we had pretty much all the flavors available and across the board thought they were great! I had the lemon honeyberry, peach bourbon, and brown sugar. Also enjoyed the color changing spoons.

My fiancé and I check out handmade ice cream shops wherever we go. Today, was this wonderful place! We try to get a flight if they are available so we can both try a lot of the flavors. He got 5 flavors and I got 5 different flavors. They were ALL delicious. The favorites are TOP *Brown Sugar...OMG, that is amazing and so creamy, it is now my favorite number one of all ice creams. It has the taste of brown butter, caramel, and brown sugar...OH, SO GOOD!!! We both really loved the Zebra one that seemed to have a really good chocolate cake in it, as well. We also would put Chocolate Underpants as a top flavor. I enjoy a good vanilla and this one is really good. And yes, the color-changing spoons are a fun touch. Very good ice cream, try it, I think you will find at least one favorite at this cute little shop!!!

Went here for a part of our daddy daughter’s night. We came from Farmington mn and decided to give this family owned shop a try. Excellent homemade ice cream. Lots of unique flavors. To night was our first time and definitely won’t be our last. Like to thank the owner and employee for the amazing service. Will definitely be back

Homemade, creamy, and delicious ice cream with unique flavor offerings. My husband and I seek out the best ice cream options and we both agree that between all that we’ve tried around the country, Lotus Creamery is hands down the best. They offer generous samples to assist with your decision making. The staff and the owner have all been wonderful every time we’ve stopped. The “Urban Goat” is unexpectedly my favorite. The last time I also tried GMA Bonnie which has Bugles in it. Such a treat as well. Every flavor that I tried was amazing!

Amazing REAL homemade ice cream!! Drove over from Stillwater for something sweet and found them on Google. So glad we did! Louise let us sample flavors and she’s awesome. Will definitely be back!!

Wow! The ice cream here is the best I've ever had. The consistency is very creamy and there are some fun flavors. I got the Lotus Cookie and it's my new favorite ice cream. Others in my party got the Chocolate Underpants, one with chocolate chips, another that was maybe watermelon, and one of the dairy free options. All were amazing. If you're downtown Hudson stop in and give it a try, it won't disappoint.

We discovered this place in the cute town of Hudson two years ago and we go out of way any time we can to stop here. This is the best ice cream I have ever had. They are very generous in letting you sample flavors. They also offer a flight of 5 for when you can't decide because they are all so good! They have several gluten free options and I was surprised how many different flavors they had after we stopped twice in a five day period. The service has always been great and the cute touch of color changing spoons makes this place extra memorable.

Incredible flavors of ice cream made for just this location! My son had a vanilla and it was incredible; I tried the coffee ice cream and it was pretty good. The color changing spoons were a fun surprise! Glad we finally stopped there!

My wife and I spent the day in Stillwater shopping and having dinner. While there we attended Church as well. After mass both decided a little ice cream treat sounded like the perfect way to end the day. I did a quick "ice cream near me" search and Lotus Creamery popped up in the list. After a short but beautiful autumn drive we arrived in Hudson, Wisconsin and quickly found Lotus Creamery. The staff was very friendly. We learned all the selections were hand made ice creams using locally sourced dairy. They let us taste-test before selecting. There were some very unique flavors. I ultimately selected "Scardey Cat" (A seasonal ,Halloween flavor. Black licorice flavored with bits of black licorice) and my wife had the Peanut Butter Cup (?). The Scardey Cat was AMAZING. My wide commented that hers was the creamiest ice cream she has ever had (and I agreed). We sat at one of the tables in the hall just outside the door and saw a steady stream of folks coming in - all being given the same warm and friendly treatment - and all making similar comments about the ice cream as they were leaving. Lotus Creamery is a wonderful addition to the Hudson shops - and if you are looking for a sweet creamy treat as part of your day - LOOK NO FURTHER!!

Great homemade ice cream. Our family of 5 enjoyed all the different flavors we tried. Sounds like the flavors change over time so we will be back to try some new ones soon. Price was very reasonable based upon on the size of the one scoop we each got.

Over the top friendly and generous. My daughter and I have been to (number is higher. That's off the top of my head.) 15 actual ice cream shops throughout Mn and Wisco. We've never had a bad experience at a single one. However Lotus is exceptional and without question #1 on our list. Been here at least a dozen times and it's possible that each time got better. Lotus is still pretty new. When word starts to get around this place is going to explode. Nothing boring in the place. Unique flavors and old school go to flavors. Vanilla bean is the best I've had I think. Great ice cream (all homemade) and great folks behind the the the freezer

I went to Lotus for the first time today with my daughter and we were blown away. This is some of the best ice cream we’ve tasted! The flavors are so unique and the very sweet owner let us try some samples, to help us choose what we wanted to take home. We will definitely be back!

SO delicious! The quality is outstanding - you can immediately taste that it’s homemade. We haven’t had ice cream like this in a long time, and it was the perfect sweet treat. Such great service too! And lots of fun flavors!

Fantastic homemade ice-cream! Definitely recommend for an after meal dessert or just as a sweet treat. I got the honey berry and my husband got the syrup and waffles flavor. Both were the perfect amount of sweet and creamy and bonus points for being made from local berries and syrup!
