We visited here last Saturday for the first time and Birdhouse did not disappoint! The service was amazing from the time we walked into until we left. Shad was our server and was so wonderful. He was attentive, but not overbearing, always kept our drinks full, and made sure we were taken care of. The food runners and hosts were also fabulous. It was also nice to see an open concept kitchen and seeing the chefs all work seamlessly together made the food taste even better.

The food was so delicious! We got a bunch of things to share and were so happy we did!

We needed to decompress after a stupid long week. The bar was full with a 30 minute wait. Scott let us know “to go” was available.!

We ordered our beer and martini, took it home (because it’s always better if someone else makes it) and enjoyed a cool September temperature on our own porch.

We missed the ambiance of chatting it up with strangers, but enjoyed the cocktails at home.

Right away you know you are in a special place. It is relaxing and peaceful while maintaining exceptional service. The hostess impressed us with how well she managed to keep people happy. Her focus was on!
The entire staff is fantastic. We are regulars and yet we have never experienced a server that wasn’t. Our favorite server is Ashley. With so many favorite dishes, we have trouble deciding. She is so patient and helpful. When we go to birdhouse we plan on enjoying each other’s company and the servers give us just the right amount of attention. Our food and drinks always arrive quickly and effortlessly. We are still always surprised about that.
The bartenders make us feel so at home. They pay close attention to their craft and the result is a consistently perfect drink. Jake served our drinks last time and he was great!
The food is tasty! From the best ramen I’ve ever tasted to the most tantalizing tacos I’ve ever eaten! The birdhouse signature is that each item on the menu is creatively,beautifully and subtly unique. Artfully crafted food that tastes as good as it looks! We always leave satisfied because portions are generous.
Birdhouse is the favorite restaurant for many other people as well so make your reservation a few days in advance. By the way, happy hour is awesome!

Delicious ramen and chips with salsa. Kind of an interesting combination but all works well together. The inside decor is very nice with the front patio next to the bar area. They had a good kids menu with 7-10 options including kids ramen. Overall a good first experience!

If you’re looking for AMAZING tacos — or DELICIOUS ramen — Birdhouse is the place to be! On our first visit (tonight), I tried the sweet potato taco and the Nashville hot chicken taco, while my spouse had the Tonkotsu ramen. The sweet potato taco was SO AMAZING!! (Both tacos were delicious.) The ramen looked incredible, and my date loved it. We also enjoyed the tempura veggie appetizer, which was a really interesting and tasty combination of lotus root, asparagus, and trumpet mushrooms. Our server was welcoming and attentive, offering helpful suggestions on the menu options. We’ll definitely return to this gem of a restaurant in the quaint little town of Erie, CO. Fantastic!!

So Good! I went two days in a row. Birdhouse is an amazing restaurant. Make reservations on the weekends to avoid long wait times (so good, no one wants to leave). Great atmosphere with decor and music. Delicious and strong drink selection. Tacos and ramen are the main dishes. Tacos are so flavorful, next time ill try the ramen. Go try it once and you'll be hooked. The stores around it are also fun to explore. Just Go!

Perfect date night spot! Food was amazing! I love the combo of ramen and tacos on the same menu. I got the tonkotsu ramen the pork was delicious and the broth super flavorful. We did try a few tacos each had their own unique taste, and flavors couldn't tell you which one I liked more they were all great. Also, customer service was outstanding. Mae, our waitress was so friendly and made sure we were all set with drinks and that we were enjoying our meal.

First visit to celebrate a birthday. From the moment we entered until our departure, the service was exceptional. We interacted with multiple staff and the experience was exceptional every time. They went above and beyond to ensure our time with them would be memorable in all the best ways.

Food: also a great experience. Pro tip: heed server advice regarding spice expectations. One of our party considers himself a spice lover of the highest degree. He second guessed the server recommendation and later regretted that decision. He said his entre was exceptional. His decision regarding spice levels was his error, not theirs.

Bottom line, Birdhouse is an exceptional choice when in Erie. It's also worth the hour drive we made to give it a try.

This was a really fun meal packed full of flavor. I really appreciate the unique combos and freshness of ingredients that come across on the plate. When you walk by the kitchen you can see the garnish plants growing which are actually quite tasty on the plate as well. The gluten free ramen noodles are always going to decrease the enjoyment of a good bowl but the option is nice for someone who has to or is choosing to be gluten free. I’m curious to try many more of their cocktails especially and explore more of the menu on my next visit.

My first time enjoying ramen, and it was a lovely experience! Delicious ramen as well as the tacos. Prompt service and attention from our server. Very cool decor!! Will visit again!

Drinks are great too, not bad on price either.
Sometimes the water can go a while without refill but that was only a few times I’ve been in so it’s not characteristic.

Have been here multiple times, every time was great. Most recent on 5/9. Mae, the server was excellent. Food was delivered promptly, so tasty! Bonus on a Thursday night was the street out front was closed for a market and was able to buy some things to take home from some locals. Don't miss out on this hidden gem and we will be back!!! (parking was a challenge due to the street closure for the Market but worked it out)

Excellent food and cocktails. So nice to experience another quality restaurant in little Erie (well it was little when we lived there). We had the egg rolls and tuna to start and were really pleased. Then we went with an assortment of tacos and they were all excellent. Only thing I'd change is that the corn tortillas weren't skilleted prior to serving (adds some body).

Irene or server was wonderful as well as all the many dishes we devoured! Worth a trip to Erie, CO! Great watermelon app and the tacos a ramen were wonderfully flavored, prepared and presented! Check out my photos. Looking forward to returning. Thanks Birdhouse!

The food and cocktails were outstanding. I can't wait to go back. The Kimchi Ramen was really good and we enjoyed the Al Pastor, Korean Short Rib and Nashville Hot Chicken tacos. I look forward to eating my way through this menu.

What a splendid meal! Recently ordered takeout from Birdhouse, their tacos are next level. Literally checks every box you could ask for. A+ Taste/ingredients/tortilla/presentation, easy to tell they hold a high standard. Impressive. Lucky to have close by and will be back.

I wrestled with this rating, as the food and atmosphere were both very good. The mushroom and cactus tacos are very unique and flavorful. Fairly small portions, but really good.

The removal of a star is for the service, which I don’t think demonstrates the whole restaurant. We tried to order the regular plain churros for dessert, but upon doing so our server literally told us “no you don’t want that” and put in an order instead for churros filled with cream and chocolate. We did not ask for this.

She didn’t make any mention that this would add over 3 extra dollars to the bill, and again forced this upon us. When this happened I assumed maybe they’d add 1.00 or something so we ate it, and the food was in front of us before we could even ask, but then saw an extra 3.50 to the bill for something we didn’t want.

Hey, in the end the churros were very good, and we enjoyed them so didn’t ask for a refund. But didn’t appreciate the surprise upcharge that clearly should’ve been asked and not just done. Not smart business, felt very sneaky.

EDIT: manager reached out and rectified the situation without issue. I think this situation was an anomaly, and I’d be happy to go back after my interaction with the management.

Absolutely fantastic night with friends and the best dining experience! Our server Joe was on his game and total joy! The runners and managers were swift and accommodating. The food was perfect (all custom orders) and we order all 3 desserts. Way to kill it tonight Birdhouse!!

Never a bad experience at Birdhouse. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the food has always been delicious!
