A fantastic choice for breakfast, lunch, or brunch ... Anytime before 2:30 pm. Incredible, top notch service. The food was prepared to perfection. Highly recommended if you're looking for a midday breakfast.

Dining begins when you walk through the door and you see clean spaces and happy faces. It continues with smells that conjure your thoughts to anticipate a great meal that includes great service. Boathouse Cafe is the place, and Shelly does an excellent job making you feel welcome.

Potato pancakes are outstanding every time. Everything tasted fine, and the portion size along with price is more than reasonable.

Recently moved to the area and started popping in here for a quick bite and a hot drink, now it's become my new regular diner! Always-fresh coffee and comforting meals; I'm especially fond of their sandwiches and wraps and house-made potato chips.
Staff is all-around friendly and charming. Very homey and quaint, just a fine little diner ♡

Great little restaurant. Fresh and tasty food. Great atmosphere. I had the eggs Benedict and side of biscuit and sausage gravy. Fresh bake biscuit, good homemade Hollandaise sauce...homemade sausage gravy. Total was $15.50 with tax. Most of the breakfast items are less than $10. I didn't have it but one pancake is the size of the whole plate...huge one would be enough. Can't wait to come back

The food is very good but the Shredded Hashbrown potatoes weren't seasoned. Adding salt & pepper helps & everything else I had was delicious. I want to go back & try more for sure. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is super friendly & attentive. Decor is boat related so it's very cute.

We shared the avocado turkey sandwich....Yummy. & the crab cakes eggs benedict. The crab did not taste right and the plate was full of water. No bueno on that dish. But we will be back to try more things!!

Place is so good. Staff is really friendly and has quickly become my weekend breakfast spot to introduce people to. They serve fresh local coffee and even have new flavors. Blueberry Cobbler and Reggae Me Crazy are my favorite flavors. (Flavor coffee changes)

Discovered a quaint little place for breakfast. Food was great and service was awesome. Met my daughter there. Scrambled eggs were some of the best I've ever had. Will return soon. Go and try it for yourself

Stumbled upon this restaurant when out for the morning. Absolutely delicious breakfast - best pancake I’ve had in years! Great service, everyone was very friendly. Good menu choices and great coffee. Will definitely be back.

Ordered the avocado bowl with bacon- super delicious. Also their lunch meals are fantastic and loved the chips!

First time coming here. I really enjoyed the environment. The food was over all good 👍 my party got an avocado bowl and a Spanish omelet.

I adore this place. Service is great even when super busy. Staff is kind and courteous. Always a delight and most importantly food is spectacular. ❤

First visit here and it was great. We had breakfast and its worth waiting for. The only drawback is the limited seating area, but it's well worth waiting to be seated. We will go back here the next time we are in the area recommend to anyone

I regularly visit the Boathouse. I've had several different menu items and they have all been good. The staff is friendly, and pricing is quite reasonable.

The food was great, service outstanding, and a very nice portion.

I went there on a Sunday morning with two of my sons and my daughter in law. We arrived at 10:45, our order was taken by 10:50, food did not come until 11:30 but it was worth it. We enjoyed our time hanging out and talking. They were busy so you expect a delay and the food was amazing!!! The eggs were cooked perfectly, hash browns (or home fries, I don't know the dfference) were excellent, best turkey sausage I've ever had and the pancakes are amazing.

I know "a pancake'? Yes, the pancakes are amazing and here's a hint on the high quality of the place.. the butter. They don't put cheap, lousy butter on the tables. The butter is sweet, creamy and tasted like Kerry Gold or some other high end butter. Not what you'd expect from a restaurant charging only $11 for the "overboard'. (eggs, hash browns, meat and a giant pancake).

This was my first of what is sure to be many visits whenever I'm in the Akron area.

My only advice would be, give yourself extra time.. seems that everything is made fresh and with that quality, it takes a bit longer than a place that just throws stuff in a microwave or has it pre-cooked. This was fresh, made to order and really, really good. Can't wait to go back.

We’ve been stopping at the Boathouse Cafe every weekend for the last two months. It’s become a thing for us and for good reason. The location is convenient, but more importantly, the food is always great, the staff is friendly and helpful and the decor is like you’re on a beach vacation. We’ve ordered something different every time we’ve gone and everything is either good or great! On more than one occasion, the chef has stopped out to have a conversation and check on the food. There are always specials but the main menu provides a lot of variety for both breakfast and lunch. A couple tips… their hollandaise sauce is great on anything, they have an excellent chicken salad, all omelettes have been superb and their home fries are a favorite! Any of the benedicts are amazing, too! Definitely worth a trip for a nice, refreshing experience!

Ok, so it took me a hot minute to remember to visit this place, but I’m so glad I did! Nestled in the back of the Gala Commons plaza, this cute little spot puts out some tasty food. I love that they source several ingredients locally (Pearl Coffee, Duma Meats, Ideal Bakery). I took the family and it got real quiet when the meal arrived, as we all stuffed our faces. I had the Spanish omelette, which was bright and flavorful, without being too heavy. The star of the mean, however, had to be my granddaughter’s seafood omelette, finished with hollandaise sauce and a dusting of seasoning. My daughter and wife enjoyed build-your-own breakfast bowls. The only thing I would have done differently is to order my hashbrowns extra crispy, or to go for the home fries which were just amazing. This is a fantastic addition to Springfield! I’ll be back.
