This was one of the best DQ experiences I’ve ever had. Quick service, our whole meal was fresh, and they didn’t forget anything extra we requested. It tasted so delicious!!!!!!!

I stopped in at DQ 2 different times on 04/13/23 both times I greeted and taken care of by a young man with blonde hair and glasses (I forgot to ask his name) he was very pleasant and had GREAT customer service skills!! It was so nice to see such a young person being very professional and friendly!

I’m a truck driver and stopped here because of the wide shoulder. I was Unaware that the dining area was not open to the public as they were remodeling inside. As I was Walking up a woman opened the front door and told me to come in that entrance. As I approached she told me the inside wasn’t open but she was going to serve me because I was In my big rig. She walked me thru and I placed My order which embarrassing enough I was Short $2 which she then covered. This woman’s name is Carmen! She was great. I appreciate Her courtesy and her warm welcome. As a truck driver we don’t always get treated nicely. So thank you Carmen you made my day. Happy new year to you and all the employees of this Dairy Queen! 😁

This place is awsome!!! The owner came out to thank me for pulling our camper to the rear out of the way to not block others. He said he and his wife added an area past the drive thru wide enough for campers and motor homes to exit without a u turn. Great people with vision and they greatly appreciated our business! 5 stars+++

Let me tell you... Ann is a STAR 🌟 Her level of efficiency and professionalism is a step above the rest. Dairy Queen hasn't been the same in her absence and I am SO EXCITED for her return so the place can get back to its usual level of excellence.

Was the best blizzard I have ever gotten from a Dairy Queen! The blizzard was full of toppings I got the New York cheesecake and every bite had at least 2 pieces of cheese cake! When it was handed to me the top had a crown of cheesecake bites as well. I have never had a Dairy Queen make me this happy and Dairy Queen makes me very happy!

Ahh my favorite place to eat lunch about 40 years ago when I was in high school. . Fast cheap and good. Well that review was Dairy queen in Gillespie. The one we stopped at on way to Chicago was good food was hot drinks cold. So all was good.

Great place to drive through for a quick bite and even better to go inside and enjoy a good meal. The owners are often there to say hello and check on their customers to make sure all is well, and it always is. Great food, great people, and a great asset to Dwight. Highly recommended

Food was fantastic. Customer service was great also. Everything was clean and we got our orders in a prompt timeframe.

I highly recommend this location over the surrounding others. Also as a side tip, they offer the $5/$6 lunch options all day.

Quick service, very nice personnel, good food, clean restroom (s) (men was checked only :) ) - very nice place to make a stop on a long trip from Chicago to Saint Louis!
P.S. They have a great sweet treats too!

I have stopped here two times on my way to Chicago from Springfield. Both times the same guy has taken my order and served it. I only order a blizzard. We both lamented at the fact that there is no snickers option. He was courteous.

Easy to access from I-55. One of the better DQs in the region; I plan to continue making the occasional detour here.
