Love's Travel Stop

Nice love's to visit, clean store and clean restrooms.

This store is staffed by people under the name Brian Capodice. He is a very good-natured person, always ready to help people.

I usually don’t go to the LOVE
’S because they don’t accept photo of my rewards card And only at this store, I definitely stop by to refuel, because he works here. He recently helped me pull out a trailer where there was a lot of snow. He cleaned it himself.

Appeal to the managers of this store or in general LOVE’S Pay attention to this employee. He can even be moved up the career ladder.

What a great location Love’s has here. They got a large parking lot and it’s quite here overnight. Their coffee is always fresh and the staff is friendly and helpful. The restrooms are very clean and the Hardee’s is very good.

The manager was very helpful and friendly. Atmosphere was inviting and clean. Showers were great,clean and well maintained

The workers are the best other loves truck stops need to follow really happy going there wish i could go there every day

I really like the fact that there's a dog park for my furby (furbaby). My lil Gizmo can take its time to stretch his legs

Hard to find parking for my truck and camper, but nobody gave me trouble for parking out of the way overnight. The deli bar stayed stocked late into the night, so I was able to buy some dinner well after most truck stops would've left me hungry. The staff was very friendly to me, both when entering and leaving. Nice big grassy area for my dogs to run and relieve themselves. Now I just need to see how friendly the townspeople are about me n my guitar.... Otherwise I'll be here another night.

Went to two different locations in Illinois. Excellent Gas Station!!! Both Locations were clean, Bathrooms well maintained, offer a wide selection of items to purchase for any needs, & best of all the Employees were all positive, helpful, & checked for satisfaction. Definitely will make these my daily stops when traveling.

Gotta love Love’s! This pit stop is always consistently clean and easy to get to off of highway 55. Plus, their hat collection is great.

I often travel from central to northern IL, and this has been my go-to rest stop for at least the last decade. I love the Brazilian roast coffee that's hard to find elsewhere and the individual packets of Nestle coffee creamer and sugar that's always available. Attendants are always friendly and do a good job keeping the place tidy. Never had a bad experience.

Decent truck stop with good parking availability. I got there after 7pm and although all of the marked spots were taken. I parked at the end of the middle row, and 3 more trucks parked alongside me, so I was no longer the end truck. It's a big space, so none of us were blocking any access in or out. 3 or 4 trucks also parked at the end of the dead end road that you drive into the truck stop on.

Showers were clean, people were friendly. I believe there is an Arby's, although I did not eat there.

This review is more about Gary, an excellent associate that I came accros today. He was behind the counter and begun to assist me. I mentioned that I was hungry and out of options on the floor. He proceeded to walk in the store showing more options and the variety of foods that they had. I found it tremendous, to have a natural instinct to do that. It was the first time. Thank you Gary.

I’m a truck driver, for some reason my phone was not working and I had to make a important call. I talk to the cashier at the fuel desk to tell her about my issue to see if I could use a land line. Instead she let me use her personal cell phone which was awesome basically save the day for me, Thank you so much Andie that really meant a lot.

She trusted me with her cell phone for over 20 minutes.

The dog park is awesome my dogs enjoyed it! Little dirty but probably from the wind and people littering so no biggie! Yesterday, the young lady at the truck care was very helpful, when I needed to get a tire changed on my car and didn’t know where to go and she stopped and answered all my questions very polite and didn’t get annoyed by my silly questions I was asking and she very kind hearted! All employees here treat you like there your friends! Would definitely be back in the future and would recommend this loves to anyone thank you !

Stopped by on a road trip to get gas. the cleaning lady in the bathroom and the front cashier lady were both very nice! I also got a couple taquitos and a drink, good 5 stars

The station is very clean and well stocked. I blew a tire in my car and drove it to Love's to see if they could help on a Saturday, early evening. I met Andi who sent me back to talk with Mike. Mike looked at the tire and told me to go ahead and pull it back out to the shop. Jason, John, and Sully were there and tried to help out. I have Run Flat tires and there is no spare in the car. Sully offered the donut from his car to get me home to Yorkville, but John couldn't quite make it work. He wanted me to be safe on the road and the tire didn't fit well enough for that. I ended up calling my daughter to pick up my husband and myself, was leaving the car at the Love's, and bringing a tire back the next day for them to put it on. Andi and Maddie were so sweet to us inside the store portion by offering us a free drink or anything we needed, to rest in Hardees until our daughter got there, and checked on us with nice words of encouragement. Mike also came back and checked. Even though the Hardees portion was closing at 11:00, he told us to go ahead and relax in there.
The next day I went back with a tire. They couldn't get the rim off so they ended up taking it to someone they knew. The tire that was sold to me was not the right size and would not work. Mike had them put on a used tire on the rim, brought it back to the shop, and had the guys put it on for me. They would not accept any payment, so I left a donation for their time.
It had been a really bad day on that Friday, but the 3:00pm work crew were just amazing and made me seemed blessed. Thank you to the Love's crew. Definitely plan to stop here on your travels; I know I will.

Yesterday I left my wallet in the restroom. I did not realize I had lost it until I was 100 miles away in Chicago. On my return home today I stopped at Loves just to see if per chance I had left it there. They had it! Some wonderful, honest lady returned it to the cashier and the cashier then put it in a safe place. They apparently tried to call me several times but they did not have my cell phone. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the honesty of the customers at Love's and of the honesty and integrity of the staff at Love's. They would not accept a reward. We will be FOREVER customers. This is my go to place to stop at whenever we head to Chicago. It's the cleanest gas station and food stop. The bathrooms are always clean. The staff are very helpful and welcoming.
