Absolutely delightful breakfast spot. Everyone in my group loved their dishes. Prices are good & service is kind. Cash only!!

The food here is amazing! I got the Burger Du Jour as shown in my pics and a part of me was craving a burger, this hit the spot! Breakfast or lunch, you can't go wrong with The Villager! Coffee is also good to have with your meal as well. They are also really friendly here too which makes it even better!

Friends and I looked for a nice brunch place to eat before we headed back from Hammonasset for the weekend. This quaint local brunch spot popped up and it was very tasty. I had this grilled Genoa Salami on a roll and others in my party had the Deviled egg sandwich and a Paradise sandwich. Everyone was satisfied. If ever near Chester again, will hopefully be able to stop!

I come here just about every weekend for their breakfast sandwiches. If you want a delicious and very reasonably priced breakfast, this is the place to be!

Had an amazing brunch special today! By far the best sourdough breakfast sandwich toasted with arugula, egg, avocado, bacon and cheese. Cash only, but worth the extra stop at the ATM. Fabulous food for the price and super friendly staff! New to the area and this is going to be a weekly must!

Big menu of excellent breakfast sandwiches guaranteed to appeal to everyone, including a few vegan options. The a few tables, both inside as well as outside to sit and eat your food at. Friendly staff.

Rain, shine, ice storm, pandemic, Kyle and Mike are open before 6am for early birds like myself. I am so lucky to live across the street from my favorite breakfast joint on the shoreline. I leap out of bed, throw on something acceptable and can’t wait to run, hop, sometimes slide on the ice, over to get coffee and my usual. They are kind, hard working, consistent staples of this community. Food is full of variety and always spot on. Love you guys!!

Second of all this is the kind of place and treatment that is the backbone of what makes Chester the incredible old school family like community that it is! This place is small, quaint and have the best breakfast/lunch sandwiches around! Their staff is very friendly. I love this place I live about 15 minutes away , but their delicious food is worth the drive to get a good quality breakfast or lunch. This is cash only, but worth carrying some cash; you will not regret it! I highly recommend The Villager to all!

Best breakfast sandwich in the universe, never mind just the planet. The people that work here are awesome. The coffee cake is epic and the waffles are absolutely amazing.

The villager is hands down the best spot in the area to get breakfast. Mike and Kyle are excellent guys with beautifully creative menu items changing daily. Like it spicy? These guys can turn up the heat. Feeing healthy? Make any sandwich an omelette. Don’t sleep on the Flyin Hawaiian.

This is now my favorite breakfast place to eat. Great service, great prices and great food. I am going back for lunch soon. Really love the atmosphere and the menu is sooooo good. Best place in Chester for breakfast.

Always great for breakfast. The farmers blt is fresh and delicious. Also the corned beef is the new standard.

These guys do it right. Amazing food for a great price. They also have something most places lack and that is exemplary customer service. They make you feel like family!
