Science Spectrum & OMNI Theater

What a great resource to share with other families in Lubbock, Texas. It's a joy to see parents introducing their children to science at any age, and the whole experience is very tailored no matter how old the kids, parents, grandparents, and extended family are. The Omni Theater alone is worth a dive start review. Such a cool resource to enjoy panoramic, educational film experiences from around the world, right here in little ole Lubbock.

Took the grandkids and I think I was more entertained then the kids. Each floor had a ton of science stations that will entertain any age. The price was affordable. I plan on going back and trying the imax theater. We had a great time!

My kids love it here!!!! It would be nice to see new stuff. Majority of everything there has been there since i was in elementary school!! other than that it still is exciting and prices are great to the Spectrum and the OMNI theater!!!

Was so much fun we came during spring break and it was so much fun. There was plenty to do for a full day of fun. The price was not bad either for 2 adults and a child for all 3 areas was only $58. So we got to see the main exhibit and the special exhibit and watch a show. We ended the day getting some fun things from the shop. I would reccomend coming here for a full day of fun.

My entire family enjoyed this experience. It is very hands-on and was fun for all of us. My husband and I played right along beside our children. I learned all kinds of things. Awesome place and a must visit if you are in Lubbock.

Three floors with many different kinds of exhibits and activities. We had a blast there. Entry was surprisingly affordable considering how nice it was and how much there was to do.

Talk about a blast from the past, a lot of the features were still there from when I was a kid. Getting to see my kids experience the same things was awesome. Some maintenance is definitely needed but no complaints. Really excited for the history of sports to open!

Absolutely amazing Center for all ages!
We are from Abilene and travel monthly to visit the center.

This is a great place to sped a few hours. Lots to see. Butterfly exhibit has been a lot of fun. The kids always have a great time here.

Great museum with tons of hands on exhibits to demonstrate a variety of scientific interests. I went with three college students that absolutely loved it. I felt that most of the exhibits would be more suited for elementary to high school aged children.

A constant favorite of my children to go and explore and play with different experiments and see wild life and aquatic animals, also ancient prehistoric animals like the T-Rex and Triceratops along with Gemstones, crystals minerals and all kinds of rock and crystal formations

I had a wonderful time here with my grandson! We will definitely be going back! Lots of fun learning experiences here!

Such a fun place! There is also a wonderful area for toddlers so when I just have the littles they can play for hours!

This place was absolutely awesome! We came from Amarillo and had some things to do in Lubbock and thought this would be a fun treat for the family after our errands. Our kids are 16,14,10,5, and 2. Everyone had a blast!!! Everything was clean, and in good, working condition, and there was something for everyone. We could’ve stayed for hours, but we got there at 3 and they closed at 5. The play place for the littles and the castle was especially fun and wore our kiddos out. Also loved the aquarium area! We will definitely be back!!!

Went over here just to check some new places (new for me)
They had an event going on so lots of cool science projects and demos going on. Like building your own rocket, nanotechnology, puzzle making lots of fun for the family.
I think we came on a really good day since they also had a live kids band that was really impressive BTW.

Wonderful staff! Fantastic, fun activities and ideas for kids and adults! If you are short on time and want the best experience,hit the top floor with the sporting area first. They have live shows throughout the day with animal handlers, educational information, and a huge IMAX. Go, spend some time. If you can't and just need to kill time, make sure and go to the sporting section. Good fun!
