Super friendly staff! Arrived with car sickness and they gave me a taste of their ginger cider. Bought some crackers which were super reasonably priced and felt better within a few minutes! Wine and cider was excellent and they have a great outdoor space. Great selection of cheese and chilled cans of nonalcoholic beverages, too!

I challenge any lover of Bordeaux varietals to try Bumgarner’s Cuvée rouge. It is an EXTREMELY smooth wine with a great body & rich texture. The finish transitions extremely well. I don’t know if I can even remember anything to compare this to, its not complex at all but offers a full body and smooth finish. It is a sort of simplistic elegance that finishes perfectly. This wine is straight perfection and one of the best local wines we’ve experienced between Amador and El Dorado County. I love the boutique vibe and the owners are hands on and really amazing people. The whole experience was like a breath of fresh air and the wine my God. It’s really good. We found a new local favorite for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed the abundant fig tree that we got to sit under while sipping our wine/cider. They were very hospitable and welcoming when we arrived, and we got to sit in a beautiful shaded area which was nice:) will definitely be back!

Awesome spot to stop on your way to and from Tahoe. Some very great fruit-forward red wines. Plus a couple tasty hard ciders ; aloha & ginger.

One of the best places of Apple Hill! I think our host's name was Gale, and she was an absolute pleasure! Very friendly, great food, wine, cider, atmosphere, all great!

I expect all the people who work here are excellent, but Corrie provided stand out service. She provided insightful recommendations but also let us have a lot of flexibility with our tasting. They have a strong selection of reds; the '18 Zinfandel and '17 Tempranillo were my particular favorites. Definitely give the late harvest zinfandel a try if you're a fan of dessert wine fan. Cider fans will not be disappointed, the bluegrass in particular has a lovely, light citrus finish.
Highly recommend, plan on taking a bottle home with you.

Great wine, great vibe, great family ! Jennifer and Brian are great hosts and as a team they do a great job. The winery, wines & cider as well as ambiance are top notch. We enjoy their events as well as music and pizza nights, you will not be disappointed ! Locals enjoy the flip top refillable wine and cider options. If you are passing by on Hwy50 well worth the stop you will not be disappointed.

Don't let the size fool you. Great wines and Ciders. If I was a local I would totally be a regular bringing my bottles back for discounted refills. The Ginger infused Cider blew me away. I want more.

Favorite place for ciders. Many different types in redeemable/refillable bottles. Also some great wines in traditional format and refillable.

Beautiful setting and wonderful wine and cider. I really appreciate the swing cap resealable bottles and wish they did that for all of their wines!

This winery is definitely on my top two in El Dorado Wineries. Reasonable tasting fees...6 for only $5 . Great variety.
