1850 Wine Cellars Tasting Room

Sara was an absolute delight and so were the 1850 wines! My husband and I popped in for a quick tasting on a Friday afternoon and really enjoyed our experience. The wine, atmosphere, and outdoor seating were perfect! We look forward to visiting again, hopefully sooner than later.

Great tasting room and wines. Stopped in on a Thursday and had a nice time. Great indoor space with games that you and your friends can play with. They do have trivia nights - looking forward to checking that out. Overall a great experience

Stacey helped us and we tasted some of the best cabs in the area, she also introduced us to some very nice people that were also wine tasting

Love this tasting room! It's so relaxing and fun. We came back to Sutter Creek just to revisit 1850's tasting room. Hayden has been SUPER friendly to us. The food is good. I can't wait to revisit again.

If you go to Sutter Creek for wine tasting, make sure to visit this place. Just off Main Street, the tasting room clean and nicely decorated. The bar is a beautiful finished slab of Modesto ash from a tree that grew in Davis, CA. The wines are excellent with some very nice varietals and the staff is very friendly. Guy(pronounced Gē) is a wonderful wine host. A man who knows his wine has a charming with and an infectious smile, if you're lucky he may be there when you visit.

This was our best wine tasting experience, ever. For a very reasonable tasting fee of only $5 we got to taste 7 different wines - and re-taste our favorites. Christa was pouring for us and was super friendly and knowledgable. Granted, it was Monday afternoon and a slow day, so YMMV if it's crowded. We bought a bottle each of our favorites and the tasting fee applied. I wish we'd know they had small plates available, but we'd just had lunch or we'd have had something off their menu. This is right off Main St. And they have a patio where you can enjoy a glass of what you purchase. Highly recommended.

Aubrey was my favorite person I interacted with all weekend! The sangria selections were EXACTLY what we were looking for and were delicious! We also loved our adult Capri Sun sangria pouches to go 😄

Fun, informative, and excellent variety of wines. When in Sutter Creek it's a very short block off Main St and we'll worth the 20 steps to get there.
