Backyard Reflections

We have had multiple projects going this summer. We have worked with many teams. Every project had to be done in a specific order. Each contractor had a window of completion. Of all the companies we worked with, from start to finish, Backyard Reflections was a stand out company for sure. We did have a potential problem with scheduling, which was in part my fault as I assumed everyone knew the 4 week window. The project manager quickly resolved the problem and we stayed on track. The crew that came out communicated very well. The finished result exceeded our expectations. They cleaned up the site impeccably!!
There were additional things that had to be done, in order to accomplish the original design, but not one cent over the estimate was charged. Highly recommend. They are very busy though, so be patient 😊

We received a bid from Backyard Reflections for a large paver patio around the backside of our pool that was built into a hillside. Difficult grades for sure. We decided to go with another company that was a bit cheaper and wasn't booked out as far. The pavers were out of level only 2 seasons after they were installed! We had to completely have them taken out, the ground base reinstalled/leveled and the pavers put back in with proper levels for drainage. We were able to get Backyard out to redo the entire patio and it looks absolutely fabulous! They made some small design suggestions that made the patio look even better than the original but still using our existing material. They were so professional and understanding of our disappointment in having to reinstall. Lesson well learned of the old adage 'you get what you pay for'. Had I had Backyard install in the first place, it would have been much cheaper than us installing it 2 times. AND the value added benefits of having a top notch company do the work is priceless! Such a class act company that really knows their business and does it very well. I can't recommend them enough.

Our experience with Backyard Reflections was wonderful. Their office staff was knowledgeable and their crew was efficient and hard working. Communication was easy and they were very responsive. They finished before our deadline and transformed the property. We look forward to using them more in the future for more projects on our property!

Backyard Reflections designed and constructed our lakeside patio and lakeshore design. Their team was fantastic. The design was just what we wanted (even better!) and the crew that installed was fast, professional and kept us up to speed the entire time during the execution. They even built temporary ramps for us to enjoy the 4th of July holiday during construction. We will definitely use them again. No pics in full bloom yet :)

A portion of the brick wall surrounding our yard needed to be replaced. A representative from Backyard Reflections came out to talk to us and gave us several options for solutions. He was also a good listener and helped us figure out how we wanted the problem solved. The office was very good about communicating with us and answering questions. The workers who rebuilt the portion of wall were professional and hard-working, and the finished product looks wonderful! I highly recommend Backyard Reflections.

The shoreline at my cabin on Sugar Lake had been deteriorating for some time. Backyard Reflections did a wonderful job restoring that shoreline. They repaired and replaced the Rip Rap including fieldstone boulders at the proper slope to better protect me from the winter ice. They also installed planting beds to further reduce shoreline erosion, and made a much easier sand access to the water. Dan Schaper, the Project Manager and all of the people I had contact with throughout the project were so very nice and did an outstanding job. While the costs was a little higher than other bids, the over all design was clearly better and the products used and installation was outstanding. My family and I are very happy - it looks great and is very functional. Thanks to all at Backyard Reflections!

I interviewed here a few days ago. I get the feeling that I didn't get the job, but they still seem like an absolutely wonderful company. I can tell that they really care deeply about their clients, and their employees. If I do end up getting a back, I will be ecstatic to accept the job. Otherwise, they'll be the first on my list the next time I do a landscaping project.
