Monarch Boudoir - Massena

I was cheerfully greeted by my hair and makeup artist. To be honest I was sick to my stomach walking in, ready to back out.

Then I remembered I am here for the transformation. If it doesn’t scare you then you’re playing too small. She made me feel comfortable and assured me that I would love it when I was done. The transformation had begun.

By the time hair and makeup was done I was at ease. When the photographer arrived she too assured me that I can do whatever I was comfortable with. During my photo shoot I was feeling good about myself and my body.

I had a great time and would recommend anyone to do it.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience working with Marina, Amanda, and the whole team at A Million Monarchs! I gifted myself with a Boudoir photo shoot after my divorce as a way to celebrate my strength and resilience. The team does an amazing job sending lots of helpful information before the session so that you know what to expect. There is open communication with staff throughout the entire process which helped to alleviate any anxiety I was feeling beforehand. When I arrived at the studio, I felt comfortable from the moment I walked through the door. Marina was very respectful and made me feel so comfortable and confident. I was able to view my photos a few days afterwards, and I was blown away by how beautiful they were. The ordering process was super easy- the hardest part is having to narrow down the photos, because they are all so good! The dark glamour photography stands alone and is like nothing else I have seen. I am beyond happy that I chose A Million Monarchs for my boudoir photoshoot and would choose them again in a heartbeat.

I had so much fun!! Marina is an amazing women, she made me feel first beautiful, comfortable and most of all excited to see my pictures!! I would and will recommend doing a boudoir shoot at Monarch Boudoir.

This was my second photo shoot with your studio. I found this shoot to be more rewarding and enjoyable because I knew what to expect. I felt more at ease and relaxed because Marina does an excellent job with making others feel comfortable.

Such a positive experience! I'm normally the type of person who hates having their photo taken, but the entire team made me feel so comfortable and made it an enjoyable experience. Plus the massive boost to my self confidence is working wonders. I would definitely recommend it to anyone! Boudoir photography isn't just for women, us men deserve self love too...and they certainly nailed it.

Marina, my photographer, did an amazing job making me feel comfortable. She was flexible and allowed for all my outfits to be utilized, plus some from her wardrobe as well. She was even able to get my very conservative husband to be part of the shoot, which was a minor miracle!! This was a dream come true and a shared experience for my husband and I. Our album will be a 40th Anniversary Celebration memorial piece. I addition, I recently turned 60 years old and this has been a bucket list item for about 10 years. I was well worth the 4 1/2 hour drive to her NY studio. i would be remiss if I did not mention Amanda, who happy helped us figure out hotel accommodations and answered ALL my question up to the second I entered the studio!! Starlin also was a remarkable hair and make-up artist and made me feel more beautiful and confident for the photo shoot. I can’t thank them all enough and anxiously await seeing our photos very soon!

I went in thinking I was nervous. I was nervous for weeks before my appointment. But starting from the moment I walked in to start my hair and makeup i started to become less nervous! The makeup artist was great! Great conversation! Starlyn I believe was her name. Walking into the space to start the photo shoot, I thought I might get nervous again. But Marina was my photographer that day, and she has a special gift on how to make you feel amazing and she immediately washed away all the nervousness I had. She helps you with posing, helps you decide which outfits to wear next, if you’re undeceived, and makes sure before you leave that every picture, every possible pose and outfit you could possibly want is taken so you don’t have any regrets leaving! Very professional, and does great work! Now that’s I’ve seen my photos…… just wow!! They turned out better than I ever thought I could look! Thank you to the whole staff from Jules who walked me through the beginning stages and kept in contact with me prior to my appointment to see if she could help me with outfit choices, or just giving me a pep talk when I needed it, to the makeup and hair and the actual photo shoot!

I was so nervous heading to my session, I almost cancelled the morning of! I am so glad I went through with it. Marina was so amazing! She made me feel so comfortable, made me feel like I had strength and like I was a powerful woman. She has an amazing eye for all kinds of angles and she knew exactly which poses to put me in. I cannot wait to see my final images. I highly recommend taking the time to do something for YOU!

I had the most wonderful experience with Marina, Jules, and Jenna! What a rock star team. My makeup and hair was glamorous but still felt like me. I was super comfortable and excited throughout the whole shoot and totally could’ve stayed there for days. I felt incredible and beautiful and empowered during every second of my shoot and for the whole rest of the day. What a thrill and a treasure to have such incredible artists in our community. What a GREAT group of people!! I was definitely a little nervous, but more excited than anything. This photo shoot was about building confidence and overcoming hurt from abusive relationships. I had such a great and positive experience! I look forward to doing more shoots. I highly suggest taking the leap out of your comfort zone. Live life, look amazing and JUST DO IT!

I had my first boudoir shoot today! Marina was fantastic. She was very professional and made me feel so comfortable. Going in I was so nervous and didn’t know what to expect. Marina and Star made me feel very comfortable, from the minute I walked through the door, through make-up and hair, and especially the shoot.

Simply amazing! From booking the photo shoot all the way to the big day, Marina is constantly in touch, keeping you up to date and giving little tidbits of advice for picking outfits. I wasn’t too sure what I got myself into when I booked, but I’m sure glad I did. From the minute I walked into the studio and sat down in the makeup chair, I felt all the nervous butterflies go away. Sarah did an amazing job on hair and makeup and between Marina and my friend, beautiful outfits were picked. I left the studio feeling confident in my looks for once in a long time and I can’t wait to see how everything turned out!

This was an amazing experience. Upon arrival the atmosphere was stunning, glamorous and welcoming. Having hair and makeup done on site with all the attention focused specifically on you is a beautiful experience in itself.

I was nervous about the outfits I choose to bring. The endless amount of outfits that were on site to choose from are sexy. Marina was exceptionally helpful in guiding me with choosing the right outfits. She made me feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was very patient and knowledgeable with posing for multiple photos. My experience was very empowering as a woman.

I chose to do the photo shoot to celebrate myself as a strong person,something I dont feel women do often enough.I truly encourage all women to step out of their comfort zone and into the monarch studio,you will feel a transformation of power immediately when you walk in the doors.The very capable and professional make up artist(mine was starlynn)will transform you into the person you hoped was there but wasint sure how to call her out! The photographer will have you posing as if it was your second nature,like your pouring a cup of coffee and nothing more...but of course the effects are much more...life changing.
