Cupcake Sushi

My neighbor’s daughter had this at her wedding reception and I was amazed and shocked on the cupcakes because they looked like sushi. I didn’t know at the time what flavors they had and tried a few. My favorites were yellow vanilla, red velvet, and double chocolate. The detail and work put into it was fabulous especially having a gluten free plate for people with gluten allergies which is very considerate.

Omgosh! We were recently gifted a box of the sushi cupcakes. You only need one to be totally satiated. Dark then light chocolate with a fondue inside and a sprinkle on top with a food pearl!? It doesn’t get any more decadent than this.

If you are looking for where to go for something instead of “key lime pie” trust us as locales this is the new dessert hip place. Grab a coffee or a port.

I recieved an 18 pc box of cupcake sushi. My son's girlfriend ( Lynsi) gave them to me upon meeting me for the first time. They knocked my socks off!! Everything from packaging to taste was quality. A fun experience in every bite.Well done and keep up the fantastic work!!

We got cupcake sushi for our wedding and loved it. The custom sail and sushi boat were a hit and even our guests who had gluten allergies were taken care of with a special section. Probably the best wedding dessert ever.
For our one year anniversary I sent my husband a box shipped fedex. It came perfect with an ice pack and he was so surprised and happy to get a treat from Key West. It came even earlier than it said.

Ordered online for pickup. They must be having shortened hours because of covid or off season. The owner contacted me within an hour of my order to let me know when it would be ready for pickup. Pickup was quick and easy. They were very polite and welcoming. I only picked up an 8 piece because i’m heading back home in a couple days. The only way to describe the taste is, individual bites of heaven. So many individual flavors in one bite. Highly recommended and I’ll definitely be back for more my next visit to the Keys.

We walked past this shop and after googling it; we knew we had to try it. I text the shop owner and was able to pick up my order the same day (after placing the order online). They were delicious!! We received a variety of flavors with our favorites being the peanut butter and the key lime. The concept was really cute and we definitely plan on returning the next time we’re in the area.

These cupcakes are a work of art ! Not only incredibly created they taste AMAZING!! You will not be disappointed ! All the flavors were delicious . The presentation and packaging impeccable 💕

These little gourmet cupcakes are absolutely delicious!! The perfect bite size if you just want a little something sweet!! Beautifully put together with a layer of cake, a layer of flavored frosting, a crispy shell of chocolate and ended off with unique toppings and sprinkles. A lot of work goes into each one and the result is a spectacular gastronomic experience. Well worth the price.

Omg this product is the best! In the past we’ve walked by it not quite sure of what it was… finally, this trip we stopped in ( the first of four or five times). Such innovation, creativity and deliciousness LOVE Cupcake Sushi❤

This was one of the places my wife “had to” stop in at while we visit and I’m glad it was. The cupcakes were very good and cute. The service was also simple and very welcoming. I’d recommend everyone to try this place out.

I had an amazing experience with Cupcake Sushi. I wanted to deliver some cupcakes to a friend. The customer service was great and Lori was very kind. The delivery was seamless and the cupcakes looked beautiful! Also the packaging was amazing.

Cupcake Sushi is the ORIGINAL SWEET sushi treat! . I know this because Lori Shubert ,the modern day Willy Wonka created it! The best sweet you can put in your mouth! I bet you cant just eat ONE!

I went today with my mom before leaving Key West today. We met the owner and she was really nice! We tried a couple of the bites when we got to the car and they were so moist and delicious! I love the super uniqueness of this bakery and glad I was able to support a local business. 😊

I love, love, love Cupcake Sushi. The confections that Lori and her staff make are absolutely tastebud nirvana. Lori has got to be one of the sweetest people I know, (no pun intended). No matter how busy, She always has a bright smile and encouraging words. I stock up on these before the grandkids arrive and they just love ‘em.

Simply the Best. We love Cupcake Sushi. They look so good that sometimes it’s a shame to eat them but they are delicious. Ideal for parties and presents or just hide your own box in the fridge. Too good for the kids 😁

I ordered the 18 piece cupcake sushi for my partners birthday. They did not disappoint they were just masterpieces and amazing treats. It took us about a week and half to finish off the box. Take your time eating them.to enjoy every flavor within one roll. The owner is amazing, she waited for me at her shop till I could get there to pick them up. Definitely will be getting more very soon.

I absolutely LOVE Cupcake Sushi!

I had to write a review when I saw this business and the chef (Lori) was being bullied on here by some competitor.

Trust me when I say that Cupcake Sushi, the actual product....is beautiful....incredibly delicious and is so unique.

I run a guesthouse here in Key West and it is a favorite of ours as a gift for staff and guests.

When guests are celebrating birthdays, they always request Cupcake Sushi!

I only know Lori on a professional level. She is a wonderful person to work with, hard working and always dependable when I have needed orders.

Buy Cupcake Sushi....you will never be disappointed!

We LOVE Cupcake Sushi! I am personally not a fan of cake because it's usually dry, has too much icing, and/or it's too much for one portion. Cakeballs are fun but not as unique as Cupcake Sushi. These bite-sized pieces of yummy goodness are not only moist and flavorful, but are fun, pretty, and unique. We've had them at a couple of events and the display is immediately eye-catching, in part because they're so different. In the years since Cupcake Sushi launched, I've not see anything else like these. If you're in Key West, go grab a package or contact them about catering for an event. You won't be disappointed.

I’ve been eating this ORIGINAL Cupcake Sushi for years now. It’s the best!! Handmade and delicious. I bring it as a hostess gift often and she ships too!! Great way to spread some yummy love! Don’t be fooled by poor imitations. Cupcake Sushi is the original and best!! (Chef’s kiss here)
