Tin Plate Pizza

My husband and I recently tried this pizza place, and we were blown away! The pizza was amazing, with a sourdough crust that was absolutely delicious. We also loved the homemade bread and butter—it was so good, we couldn’t get enough. And don’t even get me started on the chocolate chip cookies; they were the best I’ve ever tasted! 😋We can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Tin Plate this evening. From the moment we were greeted at the door until we walked out with full stomachs, the evening was fantastic. We were seated after a short wait and had the best table in the house. The view was spectacular. Our waiter, Dalton, was the best!!! He had drink recommendations and helped us make the right decisions when choosing the food. He was pleasant and attentive. I’m truly spoiled after eating the pizza. The sourdough crust was crispy in all the right places. The sauce was delicious! I don’t know how I will ever be able to eat any other pizza again! We will definitely make this a restaurant that we visit whenever we come back!

I was in Breckenridge for the weekend, and had a deep desire for pizza, when I came across this place. Visually from the outside of the restaurant, it gives very welcoming vibes with an elegant interior and decorations. Seating was not an issue here, you just go up to the host and they’ll seat you immediately . Not to mention, I was also thrilled to hear this place is pet friendly, making it extremely conventional for if you have any pets with you. With that, the menu has a great amount of options as far as pizza , appetizers, and desserts go. I recommend if you want a lot of food for a good price, go for the “Tin Plate Prix Fixe Lunch”, as it includes a Salad/Soup, 10” Pizza, and Dessert for 25$, which is between 11:30-4:00. That being said, as I was ordering, the waiter was very attentive and helped with all needs as far as ordering goes, making the service for this restaurant very good. Now, as far as the food itself goes, it is extremely flavorful and High Quality… For my appetizer, the “Organic Heirloom Tomato Caprese”. It was phenomenal, it had a good mozzarella blend with fresh tomatoes and basil, really adding to the flavor of the dish. Probably one of the best appetizers I’ve ever had. The pizza itself is mouthwatering. It has the freshest of ingredients, even including a 8-year old sour dough that adds an amazing kick to the pizza. The cheese practically drools off the pizza. With the cheese pull being the highlight of the slice. The tomato sauce is perfect, with a subtle but nice touch of basil included. As for the dessert, the Tiramisu has to be one of the better ones I’ve had. It had a content coffee flavor throughout with every bite, a nice cream consistency with every layer. And overall just a soft smooth texture. Overall, the Tin Plate Pizza is definitely up there on some of the best pizzas I’ve had, I highly recommend coming here!

We had the best pizza from here! We got a peach and prosciutto pizza and an elote' pizza. Both were absolutely delicious! We need this place in Denver or Colorado Springs so we could enjoy it more often. The flavors were insanely good and the dough was perfect. If we visit Breckenridge again, this will be our go to spot. Parking is a challenge in Breckenridge but we got lucky when a car left just as we arrived. Highly recommend this place. It's a bit pricey but was worth it.

Have to give 5 stars all around! The sourdough pizza crust is nothing short of amazing. Pizza flavors are fantastic. Can't wait to come back!

Breck local here & on the hunt for the best restaurants in town. Tin Plate has made my list! Jess was our server & was excellent — she shared the history & values, and recommended the most delicious pies. We got Peach & Prosciutto and the White Pie. I can’t wait to recommend to my wedding couples for an intimate reception.

Dined in on 8/15(Wednesday) for lunch. We had their lunch combo and sourdough bread from their appetizers. The combo comes with salad/soup, 10" pizza and a dessert (cookie or tiramisu).

The flavor of sourdough bread was so great by itself. It was so different and nice to eat a sourdough pizza. This was our first time and we really enjoyed the pizza. We ordered side of pesto for our pizza. It was the best pesto we ever had and it went great on the pizza. It was so fresh, thick and flavorful. My mouth waters as I type this. Their tiramisu too was very nice. It was mildly sweet and we enjoyed it. The view was great too from their patio.

The waitress was very kind and took time in explaining us all our questions. The owners greeted us and made sure everything was okay. The restrooms were clean. Overall, you could say that it's run by passionate people who deeply love what they are doing and keep their customers and employees happy.

My husband & I live in Texas & were looking to elope and have an intimate dinner reception with our closest people in Breckenridge, and we lucked out with The Tin Plate. I was a bit anxious not having ever been there since we live out of state, but Ally answered all questions over the phone & helped ease my mind so much!
As for the day off, we just showed up and everything looked and tasted perfect. The vibes were amazing & we felt so at home with our closest family and friends. Everyone raved about the food (we still talk about it)! My husband & I felt so special and cared for by every worker & we appreciated it so much! I highly recommend renting out the entire restaurant like we did, because it was laid back & perfect for us!

This is not your typical pizza joint. It's a nice restaurant that's happens to serve non-typical pizza.
One of the cooler things was the lunch menu special. You get a soup or salad, any style pizza, and dessert for $25. And yes, it is plenty of pizza for one person. Huge wine selection, awesome mixed drinks, and the local drafts. I only tried 2 of their pizzas, but the Fig And Prosciutto Pizza was probably the best pizza I have ever eaten. The sweet fig sauce with the salty prosciutto and goat cheese made a flavor combination like you have never tasted. And the bread pudding and huge cookie is also a great follow up!
If you ever stop by for some boarding or skiing, or just to visit, I highly recommend Tin Plate for a gourmet pizza at regular pizza prices, along with a great atmosphere and super friendly service.

Fresh, quality ingredients, great service and fantastic sourdough pizza! The mushroom pizza is to die for! Our server, Abby, was so friendly and gave us great service!

What an amazing experience my family and I had at the Tin Plate Pizza for my brother and his wife's wedding reception! They rented out the entire place for the night and it felt like we were in a Hallmark movie. The staff and owners were so kind, the service was top notch. We're still talking about the wonderful food we had throughout the night. The servers started out each table with a plethora of appetizers (meatballs, braised buffalo short rib sliders & Wagyu beef sliders), a delicious Caesar salad was brought out, we then had lasagna and stuffed shells which we were told was a family recipe passed down from the owners grandparents, then came the pizzas; they were beautifully made and tasted even better. Just when we thought our meal had ended, they brought out warm, fresh baked cookies. We also enjoyed the signature cocktails throughout the night. We could not have asked for a better night, getting to celebrate the newlyweds with GREAT food, good vibes, and good company! Would 10 out of 10 recommend this place if you are in Breckenridge!

Best gluten free pizza crust I’ve ever had! It’s light, fluffy and soft. I thought the $2 for a side of ranch was expensive until I tasted it. I’d sell my left kidney for a gallon of that bad boy.

Drop what you’re doing and run over to Tin Plate right now!!! Best food we’ve ever eaten in our lives!! Homemade sourdough bread and homemade butter melted in our mouths, Caesar salad was divine, pizzas were perfection and cookies were chef’s kiss!! And the hot honey was out of this world!! Our server, Dalton, was awesome!! So knowledgeable about the menu, so extremely kind and helpful!! Best experience ever!! We will be back before we leave to go back home!!

This casual, lively spot is in a really old building on Ridge Street, which parallels Main Street (a bit less busy). They are super accommodating! The pizza is fantastic and other things ordered off the menu were excellent as well. I'd highly recommend!

We ordered the peach + prosciutto pizza for dinner, along with a couple of drinks, and some sourdough bread + butter as a starter. From the food to the service, it was all amazing! The pizza was one of the best we've ever had, fresh, yummy flavors! Our server, Norris, was great as well! We had our two young daughters with us who were exhausted from a day of travel and even mid telling us about the drinks on tap, he noticed one of them bending down under the table, and safeguarded the corner to make sure they didn't bump their head. He also put their order in early to make sure we could get it quicker, and it was out faster than we even expected! He was friendly and polite, and had great recommendations for food and drinks. While we aren't local, he made us feel right at home. The pizza is definitely worth a stop!

Absolutely delicious! The place is charming, the waitresses are very friendly, and the food is outstanding.
We tried the parmesian crisps, and we were already in love. If anyone from the restaurant reads this, if you could share the recipe for the absolutely best tomato sauce, I promise not to share it with anyone!!! (And still come back to eat here) 😀
We had two "safe pizzas": regular pepperoni and a gluten free sausage one. Both were amazing, and the gluten free crusts landed in my "best" list. Most of the pizzas are more adventurous, and now, knowing it's absolutely delicious, we want to try them too next time we are in Breckenridge. There is no need to play it safe. The taste was just outstanding.

Some friends and I from out of town ate at Tin Plate this afternoon. We are frequent travelers, and I have to say this is the BEST pizza I have ever had… not to mention, their Apricot draft beer was great!

What made our experience top-notch was Jess and Dalton, the workers who helped us out. They were enthusiastic, happy, and humble… the epitome of customer service.

The food was amazing! The views and atmosphere were perfection. We ordered the meatballs, which were so good, a Caesar salad, heavenly and we got two pizzas. The Margherita Pizza and Jay’s Vegetarian pizza and they were so delicious!!! Stephanie our waitress was great. Friendly and prompt. We can’t recommend this place enough. If you are in Breckenridge…GO TO TIN PLATE PIZZA!!
