El Toro Mexican Bar & Grill

Today was #TacoTuesday at our local Mexican restaurant, but we actually didn't go with tacos today, lol. We've come plenty of times for tacos, but this time wanted something different! 🌮🌯

This evening we went with a Chicken Fajita Taco Salad and Chicken Enchiladas with beans and rice. Both classic dishes were spot on for the quick in-and-out experience. Food was cooked just right with all the right balance to make the flavors pop! My wife added a side of fresh jalapenos that spiced things up a bit. As you know sometimes jalapenos can be hot, and sometimes not, but tonight they were definitely hot, just the way she likes them! 🔥🌶

Parking was easy even though the lot was packed, the atmosphere was festive and friendly, and René (manager) made his rounds ensuring everyone felt welcomed! 😊👍

We love El Toro! Always fast service and a wonderful dining experience. High chairs available upon request and not only do they have a diaper changing table in the bathroom (which seems hard to come by these days) they also have one in the men’s bathroom so dads can help too! Their portions are good in both food and drinks! We order take out frequently and it tastes just as good once we get it home. Will continue to be a returning customer!! Huber is lucky to have this business in the community!

Flavor was great, unique spices and fresh tasting.
Atmosphere was inviting and warm.
Staff was kind, attentive, and quick.
Cleanliness was 4 of 5, a little dust in high places but nothing to worry about on the dining surfaces.
The parking lot is big and you can fit an RV in it.

I’ve been to a few of the Mexican places around Dayton and this is one of the better ones. The scallops and shrimp are fantastic, but I’d recommend the fajitas. Soooo delicious.

Love this El Toro location. Seated quickly and got drinks and chips/salsa almost immediately. We got our food hot and have loved everything we have ordered!

We had a great time. Amazing food and our service was excellent. I ordered the Texanas California Burrito. Sooo good!

What a great dining experience! Mango margaritas were flipping great, and just what we needed after a 7 and a half hr drive!
We split an order of mixed; stk, shrimp, chix, fajitas, with charro(sp?) beans, and it was delish.
Also, treated ourselves to fried ice cream😋
But the best was the wonderful service we received from Sophia. She was always checking on us, quick with the service, and smiling, with helpful suggestions and explanations! You ROCK Sophia, and thank you

Went out with my brother and sister-in-law for a great dinner. We enjoyed the margarita Tower which is worth the price if you're going to have more than one glass. They let you pick any flavors. We were not a fan of the raspberry flavor but everything else was great. The food came out fast even though they were busy and on a way when we arrived. They let us know it would be about it. 20 minute wait and we were sat in less than 10 minutes. Great experience overall!

Absolutely loved my experience at El Toro. I tried the Arroz con Carne, Texana, and the flavor was excellent. Also, the texture and taste of the salsa/chips was some of the best I've had in a long time. And of course, the servers took wonderful care of me. The ratings on Google are well warranted, and you should definitely check this place out.

I visit Mexican restaurants nationally, and El Toro is by far in my top 10, with this restaurant being in the top 5 easily. Friendly, quick, and understanding servers with delicious and fast food. Good kids meal, with excellent Hispanic and Mexican fares. I highly suggest the Birra Tacos!

I was at the Dayton location. It was really good and the service was great. I got the street tacos, which I really enjoyed.

Every time we come, we are so happy. The food is always good, reasonable $$$ staff is very friendly. I am very picky as a customer but Sofia, the waitress is so amazing, highly recommend to request Sofia. I never had better service.
