Samurai

One of my favorite Japanese restaurants. Every hibachi chef that I have encountered was super nice, entertaining, and funny. The food is delicious. They have this garlic butter that any food that it touches is like having heaven in your mouth. You can even buy that butter in the restaurant. And don’t forget that yum yum sauce. It’s creamy with a slight tangy. You can’t never have enough yum yum sauce on your plate.

Jaime cooked our food to perfection and made sure to ask about any allergies and/perferences. Luis our server was excellent and very attentive. Veronica the manager checked in with the table and was interested in finding out about our experience. Definitely a place to return to again and again!

Andrae n jevon was great service lastnight at 7.00. The chief jevon put 9n good shop for my daughter Birthday.

Omg food and drinks so amazing! Savored every bite! Our Chef Jaime is the best!

Update: Tonight I decided to go eat the best Japanese food and once again so delicious 😋🤤. Our Chef tonight was Shawn did an amazing job! He entertained and the cooking the best!

We went to Samurai in Kendall on July 4 and even though we had a large party, Alejandro was very attentive and met our every need. I took my 5 kids and every one of them had individual request of which Alejandro kindly fulfill their request with a smile. Thank you Alejandro for making my experience at Samurai pleasurable.

The hostess wasn't as respectful as she could have been, but the rest of the staff worked as a well-practiced team. The wait was long but well worth it. One person met us at the table for drinks and took our order. After a wait, the chef came to the table and did his magic. The entertainment made the food even better. As we completed each course, our plates would "magically" disappear from the table!

Immediately greeted and seated (this was not the case during the weekend of March 23, 2024 which had a 45 min wait) they do not do reservations

We ordered the five course filet mignon and five course Samurai Triple with a side of 10 extra shrimps, 2 hibachi chicken rices, 1 whiskey sour with Jonny Walker black and a soda.

Our chef Noel was perfection. All the food and drinks were flawless, delicious, and perfectly cooked/presented during entertainment with their classic heart shaped rice, onion tower volcano, shrimp popping.

This is my husband’s favorite restaurant since he was a child. We hadn’t been here since 7-8 years because we moved an hour away, we wanted to come for his birthday last month but weren’t waiting 45 mins so we came this month for date night and were highly satisfied with all aspects. We even had left overs we took home.

We’ll be back for someone’s birthday before the end of 2024.

Bravo Samurai chefs, crew, and management. We are pleased to know you’re still around in Miami so you’re doing something right to still be in business after all these decades and during these last few difficult years in the world.

Pretty good, a tad expensive and busy but great

Was very exiting experience. The rice was delicious I still wondering about the spices. 😆. And they have a white salse that is insane, is too good. The best part is the show that you will get in. Perfect to celebrate any ocasione. You will receive the happiness from the staff. Highly recommended. Just make sure you bring money it is expensive, but you get what you pay.

Have never been here before. I have a ton of mixed feelings about this place. First positive is that our server, Irving (I believe was his name), was spectacular! Amazing and great service, all the way around. Next positive was their lychee martini, so so delicious. I would come back here just for that. Next positive is the free valet parking. Another positive was there chicken wings. I believe we ordered the garlic butter flavor. Those were delicious! First negative is the time. Although you get seated rather quickly, your hibachi table must be full for you to start your hibachi experience. Then the hibachi chef honestly took forever to come to our table. I don't know if it was because we were tired and hungry that it felt like forever but it felt too long. The food to start with was pretty good. The main course, I ordered spicy chicken with special fried rice, wasn't worth the wait. The flavor was there but it was a little dry. However, my significant other ordered like a surf and turf mix and that was pretty delicious. I would go back but not for hibachi.

I've always been entertained by the display of showmanship and pageantry as the chefs practice their agile cooking skills while successfully entertaining crowds every time! I was there for my Nephew's birthday this time with the family and it was a guaranteed blast!

Talk about a meal and a show!! If you haven't been here you have to try it at least once. This particular Samurai has been here for years. The food is delicious!! They make the rice with garlic butter and then they serve you these two side sauces...I always only get double portions of the shrimp sauce. I think it's a shrimp-based sauce. I'll have to ask next time I'm there.

From the moment you walk in to see the friendly face behind the counter, to the table server, runner, and chef it's an experience you'll never forget. You can take a date, family, friends, or even go solo. The table is set up in such a way that even if you go solo you won't be dining alone.

I usually order the lunch combo with chicken and shrimp. The meal comes with a side of soup or salad, mushrooms (yum), veggies, chicken or veggie fried rice or you can order good old white rice. The salad has this ginger dressing that is to die for. The soup is delicious as well except that when it's for lunch you have to pick one or the other (soup or salad). Whichever one you choose trust me you won't be disappointed.

For dinner, you do get both the soup and salad so you get the best of both worlds. Plus it doesn't matter if it's lunch or dinner the portions are very hearty. It doesn't seem like it at first but once you have all of the food on your plate you realize it's plenty of it.

The only downfall is the heat/vapor, and you'll walk out smelling like you just prepared your meal but you'll leave happy. As my grandma used to say, " Full belly, happy heart."

Always had a great experience here. The atmosphere is always entertaining and the food is great. A little disappointed cause the parking is now by "no fee valet". The parking has always been tight here, so maybe this is there answer. Too bad the strip mall owners are @$$ and will tow your vehicle if you park there.

The food was amazing, a really great experience. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. Our hibachi chef was super nice. Definitely opt for the filet mignon if you are doing steak, so worth it. Highly recommend.

I have been meaning to post after my last two visits! I feel the staff has become more attentive & friendly lately. My last server Caitlin was patient yet fast!
I’m glad I decided to finally visit Samurai again after a few years even thought it’s just a mile from my home . Perhaps the management had changed? For the better!! will be visiting again soon .

The food at this restaurant is amazing. Armando was our chef and he was incredible with us. Super happy guys, amazing skills, super fast and attentive. I wanna say thanks to Samurai managers for providing the best service and being super fast making the food. I know that the waiting takes a long time and a lot of people around, but it's worth the waiting. The dessert was fantastic and I wanna say that we are going to visit again.

I loved everything about this place!!! 10/10 recommend. My chef was Bryan. The food was delicious and he was so entertaining. Very attentive to special requests. Service was amazing and drinks were really good.

Our Server Samantha was amazing. Our chef Elezar also did a fabulous job. his food was delicious! Their supervisor was also incredible. It was an all-around amazing dining experience. Can’t wait to come back!

First time coming to Samurai and I had an amazing experience with my friends! Armando the chef did an amazing job! He had the best attitude and really showed passion in what he was doing. Super polite and professional, his hospitality was 10/10. Food was great as well for sure made with love :) I ordered small and simple and it was very delicious, with reasonable portions for the price. They also offer non alcoholic drinks which was great since I’m pregnant and wanted something others than soda, definitely try the Mango Colada! Great for celebrating any event with friends and family. Definitely coming back again soon!

Wow! I was shocked by the amount of flavor in the food. It was delicious!! Especially when I found out these people are owned by Benihana’s. You can’t compare the two. This place is so much better. The service for my party of 20 was spectacular. The wait time sucked and it was extremely expensive but worth it , in my opinion. I enjoyed everything I ate.
