We had an unbelievable time hosting our wedding at Silverbrook! Dotti, Nick & the crew were so accommodating and helped us make our day so special! Setting up a few days prior to the wedding and being able to return the next day to pick up our personal items significantly decreased our stress around the weekend. The grounds of Silverbrook are incredible and there are so many picture opportunities for your photographer. I am going to recommend this venue to everyone I know!

We could not have chosen a more perfect place for our summer wedding. Silverbrook is gorgeous. All of our guests were impressed with the beauty of the venue – from the green rolling hills to the beautiful rustic barn. The barn was such a cozy, welcoming space for the reception, and the outdoor space was the ideal spot for our cocktail hour. Dotti and her team had games like corn hole and a giant chessboard setup to keep guests entertained. You barely need any additional decorating, and what you do need you can likely find in her Pinterest shed where she keeps leftover decorations from weddings past (which saved us money!) Dotti and her team were so kind and helpful each step of the way, from picking out a caterer to day-of planning and coordination. Dotti told us, "On your wedding day, I want you to feel as comfortable at Silverbrook as you would at home", and we certainly did. We are so grateful we found this venue and cannot recommend it highly enough!

All I have to say are AMAZING things about Silverbrook Farm, and the venue’s owner, Dot. My husband and I booked our venue over a year out and Dot was the most helpful with any and every question we had. Dot is the most accommodating and was pretty flexible when we wanted to visit the venue to visualize ideas we had for wedding set up. Dot is so kind, nice, and sweet. She gives great and honest feedback with your ideas, to help you create a smoother day. We had a pending hurricane on the forecast for our wedding and Dot was very reassuring that transitioning from the planned outdoor wedding, to the barn would be wonderful. The whole wedding ceremony felt so intimate with all of our loved ones surrounded by us in the barn. Dot and her coordinator, Jackie were LIFE SAVERS for our wedding day. Our caterers were late, and to make sure the wedding stayed on time, meant that Jackie and Dot, with the help of our florist, set up our wedding before guest arrival. They are truly the ultimate team who have the best intentions for the couple and their big day, even in the middle of hurricane weather. The day went so smooth for us and we couldn’t thank them enough for their help and hard work. They are amazing people, who are so welcoming and wonderful to work with. I HIGHLY recommend Silverbrook Farm to any bride. There are so many different sites on the venue’s property, it makes for very wonderful photographs. My husband and I loved everything about our wedding day, thanks to Dot and Jackie.

There are not enough words to express how much I love Dotti and how breathtaking Silverbrook Farm is. I got married here 3 months ago and it still feels like a dream. When my now husband and I were looking at venue’s I had 3 in mind. The first place we decided to tour was Silverbrook, the moment we pulled up to the house I looked at my fiancé and said “I don’t need to walk the property or see anything else, let’s write the check. I have to get married here!” We continued on with our tour of the property each moment I fell more and more in love. Dotti is the most kind and generous human you will ever meet, it was truly a privilege to get married at the Farm. She ensures every I is dotted and every T is crossed so that your special day is simply magical. Thank you Dotti for your hospitality, and for making our dream wedding become a reality. We love you so very much!

Our wedding at Silverbrook was so magical! Dotti went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and welcomed us into her home as if we were family. She is just so generous and was incredibly accommodating when we needed to reschedule due to Covid. The grounds and barn were so beautiful that we hardly needed to decorate and used what Dotti had available in her “Pinterest shed” for little decorative details like vases, table numbers and signs. We really envisioned a low key backyard/barn wedding and that’s exactly what Silverbrook provided. The cows even came up to the fence during the reception to enjoy the music! Our guests were in awe of the beautiful property and had a lovely time. Definitely book this spot for your wedding. You won’t be disappointed!

If you envision a classy, rustic setting for your wedding, Silverbrook is for you. I had visited another venue that was lower in price and thought we may go with that one. I decided to visit Silverbrook just to check it out, but the moment I stepped on the property, I knew it was where we were meant to get married. There are so many wonderful things to say about this place, including the owner, Dot, so I’m going to take it all piece by piece:

The ceremony and reception space. The backyard altar and the reception barn are nothing short of magical. They are so beautiful all on their own
that we hardly had to decorate at all.

Decor. Dot has a huge collection of various decor items which she provides to her couples completely free of charge. We used her sweetheart table, antique bride and groom chairs, buffet table, wine barrel cocktail tables, antique plates, vases, and wreaths, all of which added so much charm to our wedding and didn’t cost us a thing.

The farmhouse. The main part of the farmhouse was built in the 1700s, with an extension being built sometime later. The place is a dream, filled with character and history. We were able to use the large porch for our rehearsal dinner, and the two bedroom suites for the guys and ladies to get ready in on the day-of. The bride and groom also receive a complimentary night’s stay at the farmhouse either the night before or after the wedding, breakfast included (so yummy!).

Exclusive use of the venue. This was a huge selling point for us. So many wedding venues do Thursday, Friday, and Saturday weddings, so you have limited time to set everything up and actually enjoy the space. Dot only hosts one wedding a week, so you have exclusive use of the space from Tuesday through Sunday. This gave us so much peace of mind and really enabled us to enjoy the weekend.

Day-of coordinator. Dot provides a day-of coordinator for all her couples. This was another major selling point for us. We had planned to hire a day-of coordinator anyway, but because one came with the venue, it was one less thing to worry about. Our coordinator, Rachel, was amazing. She took care of absolutely everything for us, from setting up last-minute decor items, to keeping us on schedule, to coordinating with vendors. This gave us so much peace of mind and really allowed us to fully enjoy our day.

Dot herself. I saved this part for last, because I believe it was the most important. Dot is such an amazing lady. She is so kind and generous and takes so much pride in her home. You can really see how much she loves the place. She has such a peaceful, calming demeanor, which is so invaluable when the stress of wedding planning can get the best of you. She is also a licensed civil servant, so we chose to have her officiate our ceremony. She brought so much warmth to every bit of our day, and we could not be more grateful for her.

If we had to do it again, we would choose Silverbrook as our wedding venue a hundred times over. Our guests raved about how beautiful the place was, and it was the perfect setting for our special day. If you’re cost-conscious, let me just say that we were too, but when you consider how much you could save on decor, rentals, a wedding coordinator, and lodging for a night, the choice is really quite simple. Just having exclusive use of the venue for the week and the peace of mind that came with that made the whole thing worth it for us.

If you’re looking for a wedding venue in the Leesburg area, look no further than Silverbook Farm. Silverbook is inviting, immaculately maintained, picturesque, and ran by the sweetest woman, Dot. Silverbrook’s grounds are stunning with gorgeous views everywhere you turn. We held our small ceremony in Dot’s boxwood garden and our brunch right on her back lawn with sweeping views in all directions. Her gardens are well-tended and offer stunning backdrops to all of your pictures.

What sets Silverbook apart from all of the other wedding venues we visited was Dot herself. Dot—who has lived on this farm since she was a child—was so warm, welcoming, thoughtful, and helpful from the first time we step foot on her farm and throughout the planning process. She was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to help us piece together a perfect vision for our special day. She also allows you to use her vintage china and other wedding decor free of charge which made decorating our day even more special. Dot is also a licensed wedding officiant. Not only did this eliminate one search we had to do, but Dot was incredibly eloquent and beautiful in her remarks that brought bride, groom and family to tears.

When COVID-19 began to drastically alter our wedding plans, Dot was the steady hand that helped guide us through the ordeal. We reached out to her right away to figure out what we were going to do when VA put restrictions in place. Dot allowed us to continue to hold our original date, a date later in the summer, and our wedding date in 2021, so that we had options to consider as Spring progressed and we learned more about what we could and couldn’t do for our wedding. Her bright attitude and flexibility was deeply, deeply appreciated during this stressful time.

We ended up holding a small wedding ceremony with our immediate family on our original wedding date and Dot also agreed to hold the same weekend in 2021 so that we may renew our vows and hold a one year anniversary party with our original wedding guests. We are so excited that we get to experience the magic of a Silverbrook wedding twice!

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT SILVERBROOK! From the amazingly sweet owner, Dotti, to the fiercely competent day of coordinator, Jackie, SB exceeded our expectations at making our wedding day and vision come to life. We will be eternally grateful for all of the love, laughter and happy years we shared with Silverbrook.

Beautiful venue! Attended a wedding here September 8 and it was amazing! Even in the rain we had a blast! The barn is so pretty decorated for the reception. Love it!

Having been to Silverbrook for beautiful summer weddings, my family is gathered here to inter our father in -- yes, beautiful -- mid-winter. Snow all around. Enjoying coffee with my brothers before we head over to Lincoln Cemetery. New life beginnings; old life endings. Dotty's place is perfect.

As many others have said, Silverbrook is an excellent venue for the wedding of any couple who loves nature and the outdoors - or just wants a beautiful country setting for their special day. The entire grounds are elegant, beautifully landscaped with several buildings around the property (including the main building and the barn). There are plenty of areas for guests to enjoy, including an outdoor location for the ceremony with views of a cow pasture in the distance, a great courtyard area to enjoy cocktails and appetizers before and after the ceremony, and other interesting buildings from the areas farming past.

I'm not sure how much decorating the venue does vs the couple, but at the wedding I was recently at everything looked pretty magical.

My single critique of this location is the restroom situation: there are bathrooms in the main building, but this is generally used by the wedding party to get ready and thus may be off limits to other guests, especially before the ceremony. The only other restroom is a mobile two person (1 men's, 1 women's) unit located outside the barn. While this is a convenient location for the reception (assuming it is in the barn), it isn't particularly close to the main building (where the courtyard and outdoor ceremony areas are), especially for elderly and/or disabled guests.

We had an amazing experience at Silverbrook. Dotti (the owner) was responsive, helpful, and welcoming. It rained right after our ceremony, and Dotti had things all ready inside for our reception, with time to spare. Our guests commented on the beautiful property, which is hard to match. Dotti made our wedding vision come to life!

Silverbrook Farm is a fantastic B&B as well as a great place to hold events such as weddings. Very private and peaceful. It is an annual anniversary getaway place for us. The proprietor is super awesome and her breakfasts are incredible.

Shirley’s Catering has had the pleasure of working there on several occasions and has sincerely enjoyed the venue and personal support given by Silverbrook Farm. Dot always has great ideas on how things will work more smoothly and has a cache of great rustic treasures that the bride and groom can choose to use to enhance their wedding to make it their own style.

I am working as a wedding and engagement photographer already many years and it is not an easy task to find really unique place :) I found Silverbrook Farm really cozy and special place for photo shoot. It is authentic and really beautiful place with amazing nature views. I was able to take a lot really artistic and creative pictures there! I really hope that I will be able to come back :)

My wife and I were married at Silverbrook Farm in May of last year. This was the first wedding venue we visited but after seeing it we didn't need to go anywhere else. Picturesque is the only way to described the property, house, and turn of the century barn.

Dot, the owner, could not have been sweeter and more accomodating. We originally scheduled a Saturday wedding with all the fixings but some unforseen circumstances required us to cancel that date. I expected some guilt, or admonishment, as she only does very few weddings a year, but there was nothing of the sort. Dot even gave us other options that were available so that we could still have the wedding of our dreams. From start to finish she helped us with the process and truly made her home feel like ours for the day.
