Clayton's Siesta Grille

This place was the best restaurant we ate at our entire trip! The food was delicious including the fresh catch, short ribs, jerk chicken, key lime pie and chocolate torte. The owner Mavis is the sweetest lady you’ll meet and is so welcoming. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend stopping in!

Just had a fantastic first time dinner with my wife. Both our meals were incredible as was the fresh baked bread and their specially made butter. My wife's favorite. Their particular salad. The Clayton salad was to die for and one of the best salads I've had on the island! Thank you Barbara for the wonderful service and we'll see you again!

I scheduled a dinner reservation on the same day as our fishing charter because I heard that Clayton’s offers a "cook your catch" service if you bring in your fish cleaned and cut. We had half of our catch fried and the other half blackened, and it was amazing! The chefs exceeded our expectations. It's a fantastic way to enjoy the fruits of your fishing trip. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Our last night in Siesta Key for the year. Just around the corner from our time share. We sat in the patio, a little cramped but the food made up for that. Our server was very attentive. Food was awesome and portions a plenty. We will be back next year!

Bustling but plenty of staff for great service. Easy walk from condos in the area. Beef short rib and muscles were fantastic. Great kids menu for the little ones. Chef will add or modify just about anything to keep even the pickiest eaters happy. Great drink menu with good prices. Have to try the chocolate martini.

Great food and atmosphere.

Food and service were so amazing! The restaurant is very casual and we didn’t expect to have the best meal we’ve had during our entire trip! The salmon, gnocchi scallop, and the macadamia grouper were our picks and all delicious. Would highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Just perfect. We had the best dinner we’ve had in years of vacationing on Siesta Key, and can’t wait to come back next time. Mavis, the new owner, and Fred, our waiter, were lovely and provided an experience that we weren’t expecting, but appreciated deeply. And not to mention, the food and wine were fantastic!!!!

Packed both times we went. Great food. Margarita pizza was amazing. They put the basil on after and then cook it which makes a big difference.

Oh, my! What a find. Excellent food for this first-time customer… from perfect grouper and crispy romaine Caesar salad to house-made key lime pie. Owner’s on site and visits her customers. All the staff is friendly, warm, and on the ball.

We ate early on a Friday night, saw several families with kids dining. By the time we left, the place was busy and hopping.

Went for the macademia crusted grouper based on other reviews. Boy, I'm glad I did. The grouper sat on a bed of bokchoy, snow peas, carrots and mashed potatoes, topped with jicama salad. Perfectly seasoned and grilled.
The thin crust Verona pizza was one of the best I've had. Prosciutto, ricotta, arugula and sauce sang a lovely song together. Bar staff was friendly and efficient.

If you're ever in the area, try this place. 😋

The CSG burger was delicious and juicy! The service was fast and excellent. It really did the job after a day at the beach!

Stopped by this place for dinner after watching the sunset on Siesta Key Beach. My waiter Jacob was amazing and recommended the perfect meal. I had the daily chef special of red snapper with seafood risotto. Loved it.

Excellent find at Siesta key. Everything was amazing. We had mahi mahi tacos, burger and key lime pie. Staff is friendly and indoor dining with AC was awesome! I'd come back here again if we ever come to this region again.

Our party of four enjoyed dinner at Clayton's. Casey was our waitress, and she helped make recommendations. For appetizers, we selected crab cakes and calamari. Both were good. Three of the four of us ordered the grouper, it was very good. The salmon was the other entree that was ordered. Our friend said it was delicious. The pound cake and key lime pie were our choices for dessert. We were all very happy with our dinner choices. Overall the experience was great. Highly recommend giving Claytons a try.

This is our favorite location on Siesta Key. The service is excellent and food is delicious. For the area, the prices are very fair. We recommend the smoked fish dip and gnocchi with scallops. We went on the early side of dinner, so didn’t experience a wait. I appreciate that we got greeted by Clayton himself. We will surely return on our next trip.

We love Clayton’s…always a highlight of our stay in Siesta Key. Scallops and fish tacos are our go to’s…only thing we wish is that the upside down cake dessert options would come back!
