The store was clean, organized and inviting.

They were well stocked with both firearms and ammo and the prices were very reasonable.

I dealt with Chris L but there were 2 Chris's and they were both helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy.

Would definitely recommend.

The absolute premier shop in the area. Personal service. Expert opinions. Even the owner is willing to meet with you and share his experience when he's in the location.

I love shooters. Each time I go in there the staff is super friendly and helpful. They provide some of the best selection in terms of guns, ammo, and accessories. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that wants to work with a knowledgeable staff. Even through these challenging times they’ve been dedicated to providing a high quality service and reasonably priced ammo.

Great gun store, with great employees. I’m fortunate enough to work less than a minute away from this store, and stop in 3-4 times a week. The employees are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive. Even in this pandemic, Shooter’s has done a great job keeping guns and ammo on the shelf at a reasonable price. I frequent lots of other gun stores in the area, but find that Shooter’s consistently has lower prices, and a great rotation of inventory. The biggest problem I have is........which gun to buy next? Keep up the good work!

Quinn and Dana are the best. They are knowledgeable, professional and courteous.
Dana took well over an hour to help my wife, newbie to shooting, pick out the correct personal firearm that she was comfortable and capable of carrying.
What can I say about Quinn knowledgeable beyond his years. Plus he listens to my ramblings with a smile and courtesy.
Because of these two Shooters Outpost in Amherst has become one of my go to spots.

I have been doing business here for almost two years. I could not disagree more with the previous post.
The people at Shooters know the laws and are very knowledgeable. They have given me the attention I need whenever I am there to buy or just ask questions. No high pressure. I often will ask for a few days to look up the reviews and come back with questions. Not once in over two hundred trips there have I left
frustrated or confused. Always leave knowing more then when I walked in
I would guess I have bought 30 or 40 guns of one kind or another in that time. Please disregard the post before mine. This person obviously has a axe to grind. Go there and find out for yourself. Professional people who have a lot to offer in product and knowledge.

We went to check out a few firearms retailers in the area, and after going to another store that was seemingly fully stocked (due to price gouging) we found ourselves at Shooters Outpost in Amherst. The staff were friendly and the store was clean, bright and inviting. Though their stock is limited (as is the case with most places) the prices were on point and it was nice to feel that you were in a store that wasn’t going to take advantage of their customers and the current situation. Integrity. I will be back.

Went to the newest Shooters location opening week and several times since. Matt the manager super friendly and helpful as is the rest of the staff. Great selection and prices as usual along with the surplus ammo section which is cool too. Very professional staff, knowledgeable and courteous. Great job guys, another top notch store!!!

Shooters Amherst and Hooksett are some of the best gun stores I've ever been in. Friendly, helpful staff that doesn't make people feel uncomfortable. Great prices and honesty and integrity in their business. Can't recommend enough. Matt, the manager of the Amherst location, is particularly fantastic to work with. Shop with confidence!

Can I leave a 6 star review??? Staff is SO knowledgeable and helpful. Amazing selection of guns, ammo, and accessories. It's nice, you can tell they are trying to help you, not screw you and make a buck. Which is so common nowadays. Best gun store in New hampshire. No doubt in my mind.

First class sales and service. Employees are friendly and helpful. Of all the stores I’ve shopped at I must say Shooters Outpost hands down is one of the best. They keep a well stocked clean neat facility offering a good selection of firearms related goods. The employees as well as Jim and Cary
keep setting the standard of what the industry should be like.

I've shopped at Shooters since they opened and never had any problems. Staff and ownership are always helpful and informed. I've had the pleasure of extended conversations with store owners and was treated like they knew me all their lives. Anyone working their has never steered me towards anything I didn't want just to make a sale, and that goes for either of their stores. In these times its refreshing to have a store family owned and run who also care about their customers.

We visited this new store during their soft opening a few weeks ago. Very clean and impressive layout. The staff greeted every person who came in the door and were quite helpful when I was just looking around. I did buy some ammo, and we will be back!

Now that we are NH residents and live in the area, I expect to do more of our shopping here or the Hooksett store.

This is LEGIT the best place to go if you are a firearms enthusiast. A trip to New Hampshire is not a true trip to NH without visiting either store. They are a staple... and institution within this great state. And they stand for everything that makes this state the best in the country. Never have I been given anything but pure honesty and great service from Shooter Outpost. They are my one and only go to stop for everything guns and ammo. LOVE you guys!!

Great experience. I am new to the world of guns but felt very comfortable working with the people here. Chris and Taylor helped me out on the floor and were phenomenal. They let me try multiple guns and showed me as a first timer what I should be looking for. They never made me feel uncomfortable and I could fee they truly wanted to help me versus sell to me. Upon checkout, Quinn was also great, again like Chris and Taylor, very knowledgable but also very aware of the fact that I was new and never made me feel uncomfortable. Recommend this place big time, I will be going back here again some day and I would like to check out their big store too!

Top staff, selection and knowledge around. As a fairly new customer, this is by far the most comfortable gun-shop for new owners, with a welcoming vibe and no sense of big-timing customers. Plenty of staff around every time I’ve come on to help if I need it. And, loads of selection on everything, even ammo (when in stock these days). Definitely worth the visit.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They do an excellent job of providing ammunition, when available, at what is now reasonable prices. Much less expensive than anything I’ve found online. They face the same challenges of supply as everyone else.

I have been going to Shooters Outpost since they opened in Hooksett. The Amherst store is an exciting development, as it’s much closer to me. Shooters is organized, clean, full of knowledgeable staff, and a great place to get what you need. I’ve worked with them several times for purchases and will always come back.

I recently found Shooters in Amherst and was pleasantly surprised. I was looking for a difficult to find handgun and discussed the topic with the people at Shooters. To my surprise, they were actually able to help me get the handgun at a reasonable price. I was surprised because other shops were selling the same firearm on an auction site for significantly more. Shooters had a different approach - they want to help their customers. In addition to being really helpful, the prices are great, and the store is clean/not cluttered.

I’ve also been to the Hookset location to purchase reloading supplies. The store is huge and the selection / prices were great. They even have a significant selection of reloading equipment. Most shops just don’t have the space to stock this type of equipment and quantity of supplies. It’s really nice to just be able to get supplies and not paying the crazy shipping fee add ons required during an online purchase.

The experiences from both stores was really pleasant and I will continue shop here.

Purchased my first hand gun at the Amherst location 1 year ago. The store was clean, the staff patient and knowledgeable, and the prices were competitive. I highly recommend Shooters for anybody in the market for a firearm or firearm accessory. 10 out of 10!
