Los Amigos

08/25/2023: My latest great meal was Pollo Hawaiiano, followed by fried ice cream for dessert. Delicious and friendly, prompt service. Previous meal was on the week before: I had a beef chimichanga, with a salad. Then, fried ice cream for dessert. All was wonderful from the service to the food.

Great service. I had the Chicken Fajitas. Awesome!! Their special flavored water is really great. The service is friendly and prompt. The owners are fantastic and work hard to make your experience great. Highly recommend!!!! I drive from McMinnville TN to eat here. I've done this twice so far!!

A friend of mine that works at the railroad museum in town recommended this restaurant to me. I am very glad they did. I went to dine in around early to middle afternoon and there weren't very many people. Service and food is superb! Very reasonably priced, around $10-$15 for a single person (after tax of course). If you are ever visiting Cowan, TN this is a good place to eat. Make sure to leave a tip for them, their hospitality is great.

Great owner. Very friendly and quick service. My jalapeno margarita was excellent. Salsa was good and the tortilla chips were fresh. Don't sleep on this place! Check it out.

The Fajitas Mar Y Tierra were amazing! We have eaten at Los Amigos several times and it has always been good. We definitely recommend you checking them out if you haven’t yet.

Best damn family run restaurant ever. We just moved to this town and we decided to eat at this place. They made us feel very welcome as soon as we walked in. Been here three times in four days. Love it.

I hadn’t been to Amigos since the new owner took over, but I will be a regular since going twice! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive and my food arrived quickly. I ordered fajitas both times and the portions were generous and the food was incredibly tasty! Highly recommend!

What makes me love this place so much is they try their best to get it the way you want it. I love their baked potatoes but hate the skin. The staff has no problem with peeling my potatoes before they cook them.

Food is delicious. Owner is friendly and is hands on with everything. The skinny margaritas are the best, as is the salsa and chips.

Have gona back a couple times and it's always good. There is a real changing table in the bathroom too so it's super easy to take a little one

I love the Hawaiian burrito and the chorizo cheese dip! The staff are awesome family oriented people doing a great job in the small town of Cowan TN!

Hermes and his wife met us at the door. They were very accommodating. The food was delicious. The price was very reasonable. This is a hidden diamond.

A terrific Mexican restaurant! We’ve travelled all over North America and this is one of the better places. Friendly owners, wonderful authentic-tasting food (get the chunky guac!), and low prices.
