Aaron and John were very professional and courteous. They made sure the job was done right and they were conscience of my cost. I had to pay another glass company in Breck to do
an estimate and then they priced the estimate so high that it was clear they did not want the work. Pika Glass did not charge to do the estimate. I have a loft bedroom wherein the sound from downstairs made the room very noisy. I wanted to keep the light from the openings so I had glass installed to provide some level of soundproofing. It worked! I highly
recommend Pika’s services.

I can see my beautiful view again. Aaron replaced the glass in my mountain facing windows. I had a previous glass replacement company refuse to do the work stating it was too hard. Aaron gave me a quote, measured my windows, and once the glass came in finished the work in 2 hours. I couldn't be happier.

I had Pika do my shower door for a Master Bath remodel. Couldn't be happier. Had them come out for a service call, and while they were here they cut a mirror to size to fit the new vanity. Awesome group.

As a long time local, believing in using local business, I have NEVER been so disappointed in a business! DON'T CALL OR USE PIKA GLASS OR MIRROR-- EVER!

Lets just start with customer service and what the owner stated to me today.... "F##@ You, your windows are in the dumpster, and you can get your money back, we don't need your business" HANG UP! .... I sat there in shock thinking it was a prank and called back to... " F@@S You Don't Call back, your windows are in the dumpster".

So for the story:
On June 29, 17 I contacted Pika Glass to replace a few windows in our home (ps I am a Breckenridge local, born and raised). After trying to call with no answer or return call, I sent an email, and finally 3 days later got a response that they could do an estimate on Aug. 22. Aug 22nd came, and I arranged my schedule to be home, and NO SHOW.

So I called. They rescheduled, for a week later, NO SHOW. Still thinking we are all busy, and it is a small town, I did not give up on the small business with the tag line "We are not big, but the best" , they came days later (unscheduled) with a 10 minute notice and I rushed to get there for an estimate. Again, trying to support local business.
Measurements were taken, an email came, I paid my down payment, knowing that things were delayed due to the hurricane season. I waited.

December 10th (my busy time) I contacted them to see when the windows would be able to get in, they said they could do it this week (yes, must have forgotten to call me to tell me that they could, or just were too busy). They came... WRONG SIZE WINDOWS! Okay, we all make mistakes.

So it is.... January 11th I call (again I call, instead of them calling me), they say, yes your windows are in, we can only install on Tuesday January 15th (today), which I state doesn't work good for me, but I will make it work. After waiting for hours finally call, as they said they would arrive between 10-12 noon, 2:30p call to ask 'what time can I expect them, as we have been waiting all day'.

The receptions, Kimmy, gets flustered, as I too was frustrated for incorrect information after 5 Times, and I stated that I would like some consumer experiences, and hope they can learn from this for future clients, and so the owner Arron Prince gets on the phone and quote on quotes says...

After Waiting almost 6 months... this is the customer experience I get, and NOTHING for the down payment I paid Sept 5th, and NO WINDOWS!

Dang well Pika Glass.... you don't need my business or ANY of Summit County!

DON'T USE PIKA GLASS, they are unprofessional and don't need any Summit County Homeowners, or Businesses to contact them EVER! No one should ever have an experience in business like this... Please read and don't USE PIKA GLASS AND MIRROR!

Was told measurements were 10 weeks out, but we would be put on a waiting list if anything sooner became available. I called 3x 8 weeks later to see if we could get on the schedule - unable to contact anyone with no return call. Today when I was finally able to connect with the receptionist - she explained they were super busy, so she wasn't able to call me back and installation wouldn't be able to happen until the Spring. I repeated what I heard in confusion - as obviously we need our broken window repaired before winter comes. The receptionist gets upset and tells me they're super busy and don't have enough help & that it is what it is and hung up on me before we could schedule a measurement.

I call back to ask why she hangs up on me and she said we don't want "your business!"

That's just fine, I've only been waiting over 2 months to have some kind of contact from this company (which was a personal referral) but I guess they're so busy they can pick and chose with whom they want to work with. I did not deserve to be treated with such hostility and I'm not sure what was going on with with that woman today - but for the sake of the business I hope she doesn't speak to all of the customers so rudely.

We will find another company and make sure to let our HOA president not to refer this company ever again!

My windows were measured in the fall of 2018. Never heard back. I called last week (May 2019) and received a nasty call back today. They do not want to do the job and are not concerned with my rating of them because, "we have plenty of business." They have a really bad attitude.

Absolutely shocking service, kept organising a date for them to come and they never showed up. Took 4 weeks for them to finally come and take a look, and they could, for whatever reason, not repair a simple outside window. Don't recommend at all, take your business else where.

Not staffed enough to take small jobs. Too busy with big construction.
