Margarita Island Mexican Kitchen & Bar

We’ve been to Margarita Island a number of times and always have had a good experience. The service is first rate and the Margaritas are excellent. Let me assure you that they will NOT skimp on the tequila in the Margarita, get a designated driver!

Tonight we had the surf and turf burrito, tamales and carnitas bowl. All were excellent. Plenty of shrimp in the surf and turf burrito and I’m not sure what they put in the cheese sauce topper but it is amazing.

Everyone in our group loved their meal and the prices are spot on. The value for the meal is definitely there.

They always serve you with tortilla chips to begin the meal at no extra cost and the salsa is loaded with cilantro just the way it should be.

Margarita island is the real deal. Authentic Mexican and great service.

Having lived in Texas for 15 years, sampling many types of Mexican cuisine I can say this place has the best food (and drinks) in the state of Florida! Drinks were amazing, topped outstandingly and so big that as "margarita conesours" we were unable to finish, having to take our drinks to go (properly labeled with our dining receipt).

Look no further for outstanding Mexican cuisine and drinks that.are so delicious they will keep you coming back for more.

Great variety of margaritas and great food! Highly recommend the Birria Tacos and the Spicy Senorita margarita if you like a little spice. The fajitas here are also good and you can hear them sizzling from the other tables. Will be back!

This is literally the best restaurant I have ever been too! I've had birria tacos before but Margarita Island tacos are top tier! My mom also enjoyed their shrimp enchiladas. The service was also amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants authentic and flavorful food!!

This place is amazing! There's so many Mexican restaurants around and this place does it right. You won't be disappointed. The food is excellent and portions are great. Everybody working here is great The staff is great, always prompt and courteous . prices are very fair. Check this place out!

Awesome place!!! Avy, David and Tasha are top notch bar tenders! Very attentive to your needs/wants…Margaritas are out of this world (especially the watermelon). The food is amazing!! Pineapple steak taco…OMGoodness!! Birria & Surf and Turf taco are just as amazing! The bacon wrapped goat cheese filled jalapeño toreados, I’m just going to say they are a MUST HAVE!! The atmosphere is festive and inviting. From the wonderful young man bringing the chips and salsa to paying the tab, it’s just such a great time. Can’t wait to come back!

We ordered the molcajete, the piña loca and the pitcher of frozen strawberry margarita. Everything was delicious and the service was fast. I was also very happy to hear how the food is truly authentic since all the cooks are originally from Mexico, no wonder the food tasted so good. 10/10 👏🏼

Love this place! The Elotes was top notch the ceviche was perfect. Everything was made fresh my burrito verde had picked onions on top of it and they were still crispy just goes to show how fresh the ingredients are. The staff was friendly and caring. Oh and the best part is their salsa has tons of flavor and they even have a spicy option. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

The food was great! Lots of the usual dishes you’d expect at any Mexican restaurant but a lot of unique items - I was blown away by the bacon wrapped jalapeños stuffed with goat cheese, drizzled with cilantro mayo… and that was just an appetizer.

For entrees we ordered the birria quesadilla and the camarones a la diabla, but of which came out hot and fresh and delicious. Definitely a higher quality than I was expecting for a restaurant in a grocery store complex.

Can’t wait to go back.

Great food, great staff. We didn't wait long to sit down. Chips and drinks were promptly served. The waiter was very attentive. Sorry I didn't remember his name but he made some menu suggestions that were spot on. The food was really good. The margarita was awesome. Will definitely be back!

Our server, Avy, was great. She warned me about the spicy aioli on the Surf and Turf Quesadilla, but it was just the right amount of spicy, and my mom was tickled when the Tropical Mahi came with an orchid - she loves orchids. It was so pretty! Her salsa had a spicy kick, too, but she loves habaneros, so that was a fun bonus. All in all, a great dinner.

Every time I go to this place the food is delicious and the service is amazing. It's a great location with a great atmosphere inside. A+++++++++

This place will be our new place to go for Mexican food. You get your money worth very roomy , tables move at the booth tables very open floor plan . Now the food is really good I got Steak Fajitas with Cilantro rice yummy . I was able to get two meals out of this they give you alot . Only down fall is the frozen drinks need to be thicker mine was like a slushy it thin out very quick only down fall. They are pretty still new be patient we went for dinner not lunch .
