Kalita Grill Greek Cafe

I think that sometimes I am too critical. But this place, for a cheap strip mall joint, is good. It's not great, but I will still give it five stars for being good through all these tough years in the restaurant industry. The gyros is just lovely - tasty, freshly made, with a variety of textures and temperatures. I love how they wrap it so tightly. My gyros today was done in like 3 minutes and was delicious. Nice fresh tomatoes and real lettuce, not cheap iceberg leaves. Two pieces of homemade baklava for $3.99, how can you beat that? I have not tried many other items on the menu but this family-owned little hole-in-the-wall place can probably handle your typical Greek fast food. I would try the pulled lamb gyros if I didn't like the regular one so much, only $1 more.

Made to order fast casual Greek 🇬🇷 in a strip mall. Busy at the work week lunch hour, but we were able to find seating for six by the time our food was ready. Had the lamb shawarma wrap 🌯 with a side of falafel 🧆. Meals and platters were 10 to $15.

Kalita is located in a strip mall which made me a little hesitant, but I was thoroughly impressed by the food. They gyro was good albeit a little over-the-top with the fries INSIDE the gyro. The chicken skewers were some of the best I’ve ever had. They were juicy and a large portion for the price. The baklava was outstanding!

Fire spot. Everything was wonderful. Had the chicken wrap, chicken was slightly salty but overall the food was amazing. Definitely a spot to try. Vibes are peaceful with relaxing music. Plates food price are around 20 and the wraps are around 12. Fresh food for a solid price.

Came in for a late lunch, I don’t have enough good things to say about this place. The food was delicious - you can taste the love and time they put into it. I’ve eaten a lot of Greek food - this has instantly become one of my favorites. Everything was soo fresh, colorful and full of flavor.
I’m a critic as we all are and I don’t have one negative thing to say. +10 for the very very clean and welcoming environment +10 for the nice people who helped me at the counter +100 for the prep cooks and people in the kitchen, you guys made us very happy! We look forward to next time :-)

Excellent Greek coffee for those who know what is a great and strong coffee to have it first thing in the morning. It was ready for less than a minute. They also have baklava for dessert.

Absolutely delicious. We moved from a city with many Greek and Mediterranean restaurants, but Kalita Grill take the cake. They handled a complicated order with ease, and everything—gyros, dolmas, falafels, spanikopita, hummus, tzatziki sauce, fries, and more—was cooked perfectly and SO tasty. Highly recommend.

I recently dined at Kalita Grill and enjoyed a delightful meal. The chicken shawarma was perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy, wrapped in warm pita bread. The soup was rich and comforting, with a perfect blend of fresh ingredients and spices. Overall, the food was exceptional and the atmosphere inviting. Highly recommended!

The food is fresh and some of the best Greek cuisine I've had. The lamb salad was amazing. They offer large portions, and the food is cooked to order, so be prepared for a wait while your dish is made. This is a must try if you're in the area.

This is my favorite place to grab a filling lunch in Boulder! The lamb gyro tastes like I am enjoying the delicacy of a true Greek restaurant. They even offer you a "super" version with double the meat and the tzatziki sauce is exquisite. Love supporting this place!

BEST LUNCH IN BOULDER

Some of the most authentically delicious food you can find in boulder. The Chicken Shawarma Plate w/ Side Salad is the perfect hungry lunch.

So I’m very sensitive to oil. Both times I ordered the gyro salad with no oil added on the grill to heat the gyro meat and they adhered to my request. The last time the owner herself made sure they used water rather than oil. I have to admit- I called and questioned her but when I got home- it was very evident that oil was not added. I appreciate her and her honesty and willingness to accommodate me. The best gyro salad I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of gyros from many different places in the US. Highly recommend.

SO GOOD! I have never had chicken and falafel like this. And I’m a Mediterranean food lover. Everything we had was incredible. It tasted homemade and fresh! The service was awesome too. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best greek food places I have been to in Colorado. Greek fries are incredible, the gyros are outstanding, and there is even gluten-free flat bread for the gyros! It's one of my favorite places to eat in Boulder

We stopped by on a whim and were not disappointed. The gyros were absolutely delicious. The Greek fries were to die for. They were tangy, a little garlic spicy and perfectly cooked. If you're in Boulder, it's definitely a stop you should make, it's totally worth it. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious.

Love this Mediterranean restaurant. The gyro sandwich and falafels are always cooked to perfection. Great customer service. I highly recommend this place to great Greek food!
