Don't often comment or rate companies however USM is an exception. The service received by them has been above all expectations. We purchased a stair lift through Thomas and the experience has confirmed we can purchase using the internet but still receive "in store" levels of support and service. These folks are real medical professionals that offer nation wide sales and installation of accessibility products. Tough to do but after speaking with Thomas we knew this guy knows his stuff. Told us he has been doing online sales since 2000 and it showed.

I was a bit concerned because I saw some negative reviews however I asked Thomas and he explained most of those negative reviews were filed in error and they were for a different company by a similar name that sells medical supplies for diabetic needs and other common medical issues. Google doesn't allow a company to object to false ratings so they just have to live with them. I checked it out, confirmed that info was accurate and ordered.

If you need mobility or accessibility products call them and ask for Thomas. Best prices, outstanding knowledge of products, and a true concern with getting you the best solution at the best price.

This lady, Lisa Ellis, was very helpful for me never having made a wheelchair purchase before. She went through the entire check list with me and explained whenever I had questions or whenever she was seeking pertinent information on my fit. Always ask for her.
The chair arrived well packed and was an awesome thing to behold... better that I had even imagined. I'm very happy with this Quickie-GPV and all the options I ordered.
I am 240-LB male and just made the cut on the weight capacity. This chair can be used as a sport utility or general use and very light. Only a few lbs over 20.
So glad I ordered with this fine company and the excellent savings I received. Lisa was a God-send.

Bought a couple of lift chairs for my parents. Decided to get them with upgraded fabric so they took 6 weeks to build. Very pleased with the quality and the price was the best. Shopped this hard as these were expensive chairs and I saved about $700 on the pair going with US Medical.

Ordered a Viva Atlas on Tuesday and received it the following Monday after being told by other vendors it would take up 12 months to get one. Very satisfied with chair and service

THE WORST Company ever. Find another company to deal with because this company has the worst customer service nothing but lies ever time we contacted them. They lied and tell you your order is shipped only to call a few days later to find out it wasn’t. Even a supervisor lied about an order. Would not respond to repeated phone calls.
Now after Three weeks of calling and being lied to out of very important and needed medical equipment trying to find a way to get what is needed.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I placed a large order: 2 x lift chairs (1 in stock, 1 builder), 2 x side tables, and 2 x white glove delivery. I absolutely had to have the in stock chair by 7 November when my father had his hip replacement surgery. I was told it would arrive no later than 1 Nov. When it didn't show I called to learn they were holding the in-stock chair until the builder was complete. Got that addressed and was given a new delivery estimate as no-later than 7 November. The chair didn't arrive again. Called to learn a new estimate of 11 November with white glove available the week after that. Bottom line: After thousands of dollars and hours of time, my father is going to be discharged from the hospital and come home with nothing to sit on. I am extremely unhappy with this company.

As for the builder chair for my mother, while I was desperately trying to locate my father's chair they casually mentioned her chair wouldn't ship until 1 December. I was originally told it would arrive before Thanksgiving.

DO NOT order from this company. Either order it elsewhere or get a Lazy Boy which you can have customized and will show up in exactly the same amount of time. DO NOT believe the lies this company tells you about delivery.

Customer Service is horrible. I was waiting hours on the phone to talk to customer service. They send you an email that some one will contact you and no one calls for weeks. When I finally could reached a human on the phone their excuse was "we have a long waiting time" and they transfer you to another waiting line or just hang up. A message to the supervisors: HIRE MORE PEOPLE. WHO WOULD PROVIDE BETTER CARE FOR PEOPLE WITH DIABETES.

We ordered a chair for my mom, who needed it as soon as possible to aid in recovery post surgical complications. We ordered online, then called to find out when to expect delivery. After multiple call attempts leaving voicemails and emails, and three weeks later, we find out it won't arrive for at least another three weeks. We left another voicemail requesting a cancellation, but haven't received any reply. We've unfortunately had to resort to contacting our credit card customer service due to complete lack of response from U.S. Medical Supplies.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
I ordered a seat lift chair for one of may patient's in January of '17. I received a call in April that it was moving more slowly than normal and seemed to be leaking some type of fluid? I called and spoke rep who said he would call patient and arrange for a tech to go out. Today, my patient called me and was very upset. He said the rep with U.S. Medical asked him to take a pic of the issue and send to him? If he were able to get down low enough to take a pic of the chair underneath, he wouldn't need a seat lift chair. I called back today and the initial rep was not in. They guy I was speaking to had to put me on hold every 20 seconds. He finally came back and gave me a number to the "repair company". I called them but they only work on Pride chairs, not Golden Tech chairs. I called back and the rep I spoke to has no business whatsoever in working in customer service. When I asked him if it would just be possible to have a tech sent out, he responded very rudely that it was not up to me to determine if a tech goes out....it's up to Golden Tech. I told him if the issue wasn't resolved, I would simply have the chair picked up and do a dispute with AMEX and let them hash it out. His response to that was, and you can't make this up, he said "Oh yeah, right, like we're gonna pick up and chair that's 4 months old". I then said young man, what is your name please, and he hung up on me. I finally found Golden Tech's direct number and spoke to the rep there and they are taking care of it for me.
Again, I highly recommend staying away from this company and their extremely poor customer service.

Seven months ago my mother had a chairlift installed for my elderly grandmother and it has already stopped working! For a week my mother attempted to get the issue resolved only to be given the run around and hung up on. I stepped in and experienced the same unprofessional, we already got your money, don’t care attitude. Staff is very snarky and unprofessional and not interested at all in customer service. I finally get to their repair scheduling department and it’s $310 for a service call! That doesn’t include what it will cost to repair the faulty equipment that we paid thousands of dollars for already! Buyers beware, this company is only interested in the sell and are fleecing the elderly and the families who care for their loved ones. I wish I would have read the reviews before doing business with US Medical Supply in Raleigh, N.C.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
I made more than a dozen calls staring in February after my January 12th order just to find out the status of my order. Each time I called, I was told it was being built. I was even told the snow storm was to blame for the delay. Chair was not delivered and a partial refund was given.
I spoke to Pride and the trucking company several times between February 12th and February 19th. Both companies advised they were waiting for a response on a different way to deliver the chair to my residence.
Per the time-stamped records from Pride and the trucking company, they attempted to US Medical Supplies during the same week February 12th and February 19th to get approval for the extra freight charges.
I was admitted into the hospital on February 22nd and remained there for two weeks for several medical issues then moved to a rehab facility for another 3 weeks to get mobile again. At no time did I receive a call from US Medical Supplies for the additional charges to have my chair delivered, per my mobile phone records
One I was discharged I started a lengthy discussion lasting weeks with their reps starting in March. US Medical Supplies even created a new PO to take more money from me in April for white glove service. I expect the white glove service to be refunded and the remaining balance of my purchase price to be refund. That has yet to happen.
I know US Medical Supplies is just an online store and "just an accounting firm" per the woman I spoke to earlier this week, actually is the business. Even Mr Bradshaw or DC as he likes to be called, said they do business for several companies.
I am at a loss, a big loss of almost $700!

Ordered 11/22, told 5-7 day shipping time. Called 12/1 and was told it wasn't shipping till 12/20. Called 12/15 for an update and was told it was shipping til 12/22, called 12/20 and have been told 12/28. 4 different shipment dates for what was to have been a Christmas gift, full well expect it to not ship this year and based off other reviews the refund process will be a headache. Do not order from this company.

Unprofessional. I had a prescription for a nebulizer and I was told that I had to call a medical supply store to see if I could get one through them. I called this place and explained that. I asked for a nebulizer, and the guy who obviously didn’t even know what he was talking about, told me “we don’t sell diabetes equipment.” So I explained to him that a nebulizer doesn’t have anything to do with diabetes. Then he proceeded to tell me “oh, we’re a medical supply store, we don’t fill prescriptions.” And hung up the phone. Do better. If you don’t know what the customer is asking for, it’s ok to say that, or get someone who can actually help. And hanging up on someone is very unprofessional. I’m glad I don’t have to get my medical supplies from this place.

I called them to find out if they had a part I needed for my husbands CPAP machine. The man was very "rushy", told me they have some but most of it is all online. I said thank you as I was raised to be polite, and what I got back from him was a yep and hung up. Very rude.

I wasn’t even able to get past the the guy who answered the phone. I barely got my question out and the guy said, “you have the wrong number you want US Med” and hung up on me. I did in fact know and what who I was calling, but not any longer.

This company should be put out of business! Taking advantage of the most vulnerable folks on the planet. Charging almost $1000 for a chair that was never opened and returned due to incredible incompetence!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
