Matthew in plumbing was absolutely incredible. Truly the best customer service I’ve had in YEARS. I came in with a list from my plumber, standing in the aisle very intimidated, Matthew quickly eased my angst when he found each item on my list within seconds. He triple checked the list to ensure we didn’t miss anything, explained the items and their use to me so that I could better understand. Then when I was finished with my list and moving to go pick out toilets he continued to help me, which I did not expect. He helped me decide which toilet to choose, loaded them on my cart for me, and walked me to check out. I had to come back a few days later for a couple other things for my plumber and Matthew remembered what I had gotten, and confirmed the need for each item. Again educating me on their use. He is someone who truly cares about the customers, you are hard pressed to find this level of customer service anymore. If I could I would give Matthew a raise myself - he undoubtedly deserves it.

Matt from lumber was also wonderful, he helped me load the two toilets into my car which didn’t look as if they were going to fit at first, but he got creative and made it work.

Very impressed with the level of care & assistance the staff provides

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and helped us find what we needed with ease, while giving us tips about how to proceed. The line to checkout in the garden area was quite long, but the cashier working was doing a great job at moving the line, and not long after we joined the line another cashier came to help move it along.

Good Customer Service and helpful staff whether at Paint Department or as Cashier or at Front Customer Service Desk.

The Staff does its best to get the right Staff member to assist if outside their comfort zone.

Full landscape/ plant department year- round for: houseplants inside the main store; and outdoor in the garden department during the growing season.

Customer service helped mymom and i. We appreciated their concern for our needs. Neigher of us can lift due to knee issues. They were short staffed but wemt anove and beyond.

Solid location with friendly staff and good selection. It’s quieter and cleaner than some of the nearby locations making this a great destination for a more relaxed shopping experience.

Parking and access is good even for larger vehicles with trailers.

There is also a good number of nearby options for food and other staples if you need to grab anything. From Chick-Fil-A, Giant to Tractor Supply there is everything you need within minutes.

This is the best Home Depot that I've ever been in not only is the customer service experience great here but the store is never super crowded very clean very organized I work in Baltimore and live in York so I stopped in this Home Depot to pick up materials on my way to job sites all the time I prefer it over any of the Home Depots in Baltimore

Back in November, I ran into this Home Depot to pick up two $4 foam weather seals for my mom. I couldn't find them anywhere. Several staff members stopped what they were doing to help me find them. And where were they? Way up on a pallet up by the ceiling. What did they do? Bring the pallet down so I can have those two small items for my mom. They went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed. Definitely recommend Home Depot in Shrewsbury/New Freedom!!!!

This store always has great customer service and I can always find an employee when I need one.

Today the self checkout employees where tremendously helpful! We had found some lights we liked and went to collect them at the register, they went above and beyond in searching for them.
They where out of them up front, but instead of sending us away, they called people in the electrical department to get it.
They also honored the price on the lights!

I recently moved close to the new freedom location and I am certainly glad I've done so. The friendliest staff and extremely knowledgeable folks. Today I had this nice gentleman help me at home Depot turns out he was a store manager Bob McKeever. He went above and beyond and that's what I'm seeing with all his employees. Excellent store and that's what keeps me coming back.

Two employees on the floor were very polite and helpful. They helped me problem solve and then cut a piece of wood I needed for a home project. Then a supervising cashier assisted me in scanning the correct price for a sale items. Good experience overall.

I feel like I'm there every day but not in a bad way

I want to acknowledge a customer service representative named Arlene. I called the store with a problem on an order, Arlene listened to me, took notes, aasked for one hour to research the problem and get back to me. In one hour, Arlene called me back and had two solutions to the problem. We agreed on a final solution and the "used" item was picked up and a brand new item was delivered the very next day.
Arlene was courteous, professional, personable and showed respect for me as a customer. This is why the New Freedom Store (#4177) is my preferred Home Depot location.

Today I spoke with Patrick on the phone about an order I’m picking up. He was great! Super friendly and helpful, which is always relief when you call a big business. I wanted to do the survey at the end of the call, but I hung up out of habit. Still I wanted to recognize how easy and quick it was to get good help here.

I have purchased a washer and dryer from them,both within the last 6 months. The associates were very pleasant and helpful when trying to apply a couple discounts that weren't working at first and they got it fixed. The delivery of the new items were unremarkable and on time. Wow,that's refreshing,a delivery in the time frame that they gave me. The delivery guys were great, respectful and we're efficient in what they do. I've dealt with their associates in customer care,on the floor and in their respective departments,and as always,they were pleasant, courteous and extremely helpful. Coming here is a no brainer. Always a pleasure to do business with.

Went there to get mulch, but always leave with plants also.

A regular stop for me and my husband. Little competition in the area. Staff is helpful when you can find them. Their website will take you to the location of an item you are searching for in the store.

Always find what I need there and associates always helpful and smile . One of the few places recently I’ve seen people both smiling and happy to help. Kim in plumbing she’s as always beautiful and amazing ! She stopped as I was in the paint section and checked on me on her way to break just to make sure I didn’t need anymore help . She always has a smile and is helpful :)

They came through, I bought an expensive zero turn mower from there got it home and the battery was dead, they swapped it out no problems, then it still wouldn't start, so I tested the solenoid, it was bad so I ordered a new one, swapped it out and it still wouldn't start.
Took it back and they switched me out for one that started at the store. So really they did good
