Trevor is the epitome of a sommelier, through and through! I’ve never had a bad wine that he’s recommended. In fact, he’s ruined me for cheap wine. After Trevor taught my husband and I how to taste and select wine, we are no longer able to stand the taste of cheap wines. Having a now more experienced palate, we’re finding we don’t need to drink tons of bottles of the cheap stuff, instead we can enjoy a pair of fine wines and feel better in the morning!! Trevor welcomes us as friends and throws the best wine tasting gatherings I’ve ever been to. It’s a great store to meet new people too. Truly an experience and treat that we didn’t know we were missing. If you have the opportunity to stop into this beautiful wine “experience” you will not regret it.

While I love reds, I’ve learned so much about ALL wines from Trevor. So knowledgeable, personable, and funny. The wine classes, especially when experienced with friends, are both educational and fun. Give them a try!

I recently visited Terroir and was thoroughly impressed! The selection was extensive, catering to both novices and connoisseurs. Trevor was so knowledgeable, offering great recommendations based on my preferences. The ambiance was inviting, making the shopping experience enjoyable. Prices were reasonable, and the overall atmosphere exuded a passion for wine. I'll definitely be returning for my future wine needs!

Absolutely my favorite wine shop in town. Trevor is extremely knowledgeable and always more than happy to assist in selecting wines. Fine wine does not necessarily mean expensive wine and Terroir has lovely inexpensive wines as well as wines suitable for a connoisseur’s cellar. His wine tastings on Thursday and Friday evenings are a lot of fun, too!

After living for 2 decades in "wine country" it was a bit challenging finding a great source for interesting wines in North Idaho when I arrived. Trevor opened his shop and solved that problem! His wine selection is extensive and not only is he extremely knowledgeable as a Somm, he's lots of fun too. Trevor is always ready with a great wine suggestion, often something that you would never have picked on your own. He is always thoughtful about price point, making really tasty suggestions that are budget friendly. When the need arises he also has the inventory to provide a great special occasion wine as well. His wine classes are also a great date night or a fun night out with friends.

One of the great things about this area is our choices of fine places to have a wine experience. Terroir stands at the top! Trevor does it so well with selection, his vast knowledge, layout of the wine and tables, and his cheerful customer service. I always look forward to stopping by.
